everytime Shogun looks like he going to finish him......He just comes in all sloppy and gets caught w/ a clean shot.

I don't understand. Shogun always seems to come in sloppy when he has a guy hurt, gets caught a few times and gasses. The whole takedown in round 1 was a mistake, I think.

took longer than expected, mainly because shogun got gassed early... but props to vera, he stuck around longer than i expected.

Almost seems like everyone is discrediting Vera and blaming him sticking around on Showgun gassing. Vera looked to be outstriking Shogun.

Vera definately gained some respect back tho. I still don't understand how a guy that big gets manhandled and pushed around so much.

am I crazy for thinking we should have Shogun vs. Machida before either get a title shot? and the winner of Bones/Hendo vs. Gustafsson? Or is "The Mauler" injured? i can't remember
