I personally would love to see Magnum TA released. Please answer this poll and let Mattel know whether or not it would be wise and profitable to release him. Here's a pic of the canceled Legends 7 line that Magnum TA was meant to be included in.  |

I would, but only because I am a completist. He was far before my time and just don't care about him that much to demand a figure. So, yeah I would buy it just to have it, but for no other reason and I would much rather have 200 other wrestlers before him.

the reason he wasnt around for most is he almost died in a car accident we all want flair well get one of his greatest rivalries that was building. he was nwa's version of hulk hogan

But, the fact of the matter is he did have that car accident and a good majority of wrestling fans just don't know who he is. |

Mattel wants to release characters that Jakks didnt do. But its already been proven (with Steamboat and the Von Erichs) that nobody gives a crap that Jakks didnt make them. Savage is the exception, as he was a very colorful character with a long career. So I dont want to see Magnum, or Bruno Sammartino or Gorgeous George or any other of those old, old, old timers. Mattel needs to stop outthinking themselves. Stop worrying about what characters Jakks did or didnt do. Quit worrying about which outfits Jakks did. It really doesnt matter. Mid to late 80's into Late 90's is what Im looking for.

It is a great figure but I wouldnt buy it myself. If its released I think it would be better off as an RSC Exclusive than a Flashback. Im 29 and I never seen Magnum T.A wrestle, I imagine most kids wouldnt be interested in him much. But he would more than likely be a hot RSC excl as a lot of Jakks collectors would buy him

yes i would buy him, I wasn't born when he was wrestling, but I've seen many videos of Magnum TA and would love to have him in my collection, especially because we have seen the pictures of him and it kills me not to have something i know was going to come out

The figure itself it's colorful (nor was he) and it's the very bland 80's look. Maybe as an exclusive it'd be profitable, but not in the regular Elite line. |
