...Please don't come back again with...but those line-ups sucked! Chances are I'll think the ones you come up with suck... Yeah, if you throw out the three that can't be made and the TNA'ers, Mattel released a good percentage of the very top of American wrestling. They were on the verge of getting into the Doinks of the wrestling world.

I have to admit that I get tickled when people threw a fit because Arn & Tully got voted in and we didnt get more Monday Night Wars guys, yet it was basically a MNW (DDP) guy that ended up putting one of the nails in the coffin. I couldn't agree more. I also love when the same clowns claim if they put HHH, HBK, and UT then that would have saved Legends. Those guys couldn't save EG or DM...why would they suddenly save Legends? They wouldn't have. The Legends line wasn't supported by us. It's that simple. If you didn't buy every Legends figure, you helped kill the line. For every Funk, Pillman and Iron Sheik you didn't buy...you lost a chance at getting who you really wanted. I completely understand that some people didn't have the resources to do this, but Mattel gave Legends collectors a chance. We simply didn't come through. Please don't come back again with...but those line-ups sucked! Chances are I'll think the ones you come up with suck. Oh...and I'd pay $100 for Magnum if I had to. It's the only figure I voted for that didn't win in that poll last year. And I voted a lot! Well Isnt it strange That Flashbacks who consist of guys like HBK and Undertaker is a line thats doing well ? Well I guess theres no difference between what you want and the mass audience wants? It doesnt take a Genius to realize that Bret Hart, HBK or Undertaker would sell better to Legends collectors than Brian Pillman I told you last week DM failed because of Distribution and Price, E.G failed because of the same and they were Basics being sold to an audience already hooked on Elites. And go ahead and smite me 14 times again, your the clown on this page. I heard from another member here that he said something that pissed you off and you smited him 184 times. Get a life dude and get outta moms basement Your a moron to say that the only way legends could have ever worked is if everyone hunkered down and bought everyone, how about Better Distribution, Better Marketting, Better Character Selection? Hitman 1072 told me last time we chatted that hes nearly 40 and still lives in his moms basement rent free, probably why you have $100 for a magnum figure and can afford to buy one of every figure whether you want it or not. The rest of us have bills to pay and familys to support

Its been said already but yes I would buy multiples of this figure. Its a great representation of him plus there are many customs one could easily make with this guy. I don't care through which avenue or line they need to release it, this figure is on the top of my must have list! PLEASE MATTEL RELEASE THE KRAKKEN...er...THIS FIGURE OF MAGNUM TA!!!!!

Line-ups did not kill Legends. Please stop saying this. You are 100% wrong. The terrible economic climate globally killed this line. Also...please use some sort of spell check. Thanks!

you can Pm me that intellectually- disabled story of your life but wont admit it here? whatever dude, Im not gonna end this thread with an argument but Line Ups was a Factor in the Death of Legends, Mattel admitted that themselves but I guess you know better than Mattel right?

Nope. Magnum was a great talent, who had his career cut short. When he was in the NWA, he was one of the best. Great worker...hell of an entertainer. But personally just never really got into the guy.

I think he would sell he has never been made and we all know how first time figures in a line do. heck even first time figure of him ever !!! I think it's not fair to say he doesnt deserve one he was the co main event at star cade 1985 and he was slated to face flair at star cade 1986 in the main event. Kids would buy him to feed their john cena's and collecdtors would buy one for the sake of having it. Finally customizers have tons of options
Dustin Rhodes Scott Hall Early Days Bradshaw Barry Windham Sycho Sid JBL Goldberg body type Don Muraco little to white though barry horwitz lol there are more that come to mind

Pass. I'm on the same boat as Apoc and Triple S, I'd take Earthquake, Demolition Crush, L.O.D, hell even Doink as a better candidate.

Would I buy one? Yes. But where do they sell him? Flashbacks? I'd rather see 100 gimmicks--including repaints of ones we already got--before him.
As a ringside exclusive? Again, I'd rather have an elite M$M, red LOD, camo Sgt. Slaughter, barefoot Snuka, etc. Until we get them I don't wanna see him.

Well I will say this if Mattel ever checks this thread you will see some of us want ti and some don't The ones who want it. want it to either build a custom figure or to have a FIGURE NEVER EVER PRODUCED EVER. Collectors who like to collect all the world champion or US champion figures dont have a complete list without a few guys but he is one that will help us get closer. The ones that don't are probably younger fans maybe a little older and only ever watched what wwe offered. I grew up watching them but at 20 I decided to expand and look at other stuff as well. just a suggestion. They would rather have another hbk or taker to go with our already 1,000 plus figures of them. like they will never see another taker or hbk in their lifetime. They are HOF bound you will see them til the day they pass or wwe goes out of business. I hope they keep this guy around and maybe decide to give him the light of day. I remember Juventud being shown then they up and cancelled him different company same dissapointment. make it a k-mart exclusive, a mail away, toys r us even don't let newer fans decide not to make classics because they are not cena's or someone that didn't do much for the business I like ideas on here but i would rather have a figure never produced then someone else that has figures because they didnt have the right attire choice. want earthquake and typhoon they have them in jakks lol and they are pretty accurate

I'd buy him even if he didn't come with accessories. Always been a big fan of Magnum TA and I can see him being one of hell of a figure maybe even one of Mattels best if they ever release the proto they had.

He's been one of my biggest wants since Jakks was making classics and the prototype looked great. I would buy him in a heartbeat.

They should release a Magnum. It would be a first time figure for the line. He would sell decently at 1 per case. or even put him in the John Laurinatis/Teddy Long waves and force the people to get him to get the build a figure. Mattel is no stranger to that move anyway, How many dc collectors had to buy characters they didn't want to build half of the figures.

Im 29 and yes watched wwf mostly but also watched wcw, I never even had the chance to hear of NWA till the internet. and The Jakks Natural Disasters are not very accurate. they use the same body as Yoko , The Hasbro Natural Disasters are more accurate imo and yes I want any HBK Flashback and a Purple Undertaker for sure, They are the Poster Wrestlers for WWF Legends or at least should have been considering they were the Faces of the company for decades
