Heart attacks are not funny, people in my family have died from them and seeing that offensive segment last night has made me question whether I should continue watching WWE.
I always knew CM Punk was a jerk in real life but I have lost respect for Heyman and Lawler aswell. The writer came up with that crap and those selfish bastards decided to play it out and yes Jerry Lawler survived a heart attack BUT he should've thought about other people that weren't so lucky before agreeing to take part in that sick segment.
The worst parts of the Attitude era weren't as bad and tasteless as this.

Lighten up. Don't get offended over everything. It's not supposed to be offensive, it's entertainment. They didn't target you or your family members personally did they?

Guys, it's a TV show.....is anybody getting offended that Matthew Mcconaughey is filming a movie playing a character who died of AIDs?
What about other TV shows were characters either die of ailments such as heart attacks, cancer, or strokes? Hell, I've seen some Soap Opera's where characters actually FAKE having cancer or lie about being raped. It's all just part of the story.
Anybody who honestly gets offended by anything they see on a TV show is taking it way too seriously.

I'm surprised by the people that act like this is an isolated incident in wrestling. Stuff like this has happened lots of times in wrestling. As mentioned before the Fritz Von Erich angle, Ric Flair collapsing in the ring on Nitro, appearing to actually be having a heart attack. Death has been used in angles to get heat for years in wrestling, and guess what, it will continue that way, because it can be an easy heat getter.

Yes but it was tasteless considering that Eddie Guerrero and Brian Pillman died of heart attacks while they were still in the show. My Auntie burst into tears when she watched it.

WWE, even though PG is still an edgy product, if you're offended THAT easily then don't watch it.

I really wouldn't have wanted to see some of these people's reaction when Big Boss Man was feud with Big Show.

I sure hope you brought her a tissue to wipe away her tears. Now back to how awesome last nights segment was. Old School goodness at it's best. First time in a long time I could say that. Punk and Lawler killed it.

I could honestly say I would never have come up with dragging around dead family members in a coffin. And doing it with the Blues Mobile if I'm not mistaken. It's so wrong, yet so funny when Big Show jumps on the coffin, and then falls off.

I really wouldn't have wanted to see some of these people's reaction when Big Boss Man was feud with Big Show. Yes but that storyline was pure panto and Bossman was the panto villian stealing The Big Show's fathers corpse. This however involved someone faking a heart attack as a sick attempt to make fun of people that have suffered them.

So the whole Lawler thing is worse than a storyline where they drag a coffin through a cemetery? Ok.
