2 Things, 1 I wouldn't refer to the actual characters names in any merchandise kind of way....
2 You should look into a program called Zbrush. If you can export those bases as the right file type, you can import them into zbrush and do literally anything you want to them. Not too hard to use.
People use Zbrush to turn say, a Sphere into a highly articulated statue. If you can use that program to build the base, you could put all the wrinkles and eyebrows and change emotion better than that program to do. Anyways this is the way to go if you are serious as you seem.

Good question, and are you gonna do them with hair or will the individual have to sculpt their own, Im hoping the former

It is my own personal hobby/project that I will make available to a few others. I'm not too worried. AS for the hair, I plan on molding and casting them in a variety of ways, if they turn out well. So yeah, I'll have hair sculpted on them. Wars

Nice Job so far Wars. Von Erich looks the best in my opinion but I see the likeness in all. Again nice work

Nice Job so far Wars. Von Erich looks the best in my opinion but I see the likeness in all. Again nice work Thanks! I'm inclined to agree, but I know the want is there for a good Owen head first. David VE is in my top five though. I'm interested in reading other people's top five desired heads. Here is the Owen head with the expression I chose. I normally like neutral expressions, unless there is a telltale facial expression that defines a character. Owen mostly has his snarl, it reminds me of his bitter days feuding with his brother Bret. But I think it's a good enough expression for his other incarnations, such as the New Foundation days, and even the Blue Blazer.

Since you asked for top 5 heads, I will say I'm an attitude era fan so this list might not surprise you:
1. Owen Hart (of course) 2. Macho Man (never liked Ada's) 3. Headbangers 4. Lex Luger (never liked the ones we were given) 5. Del Wilkes (Patriot)

Head UPDATE: The Mattel sized head model is almost complete! I really like the work we've done on this model. Next up will be to purchase a Shapeways print of this head, I am researching the material I need to use to get the smoothest texture. Regardless of the texture, a spray coating of sealer and molding and casting will smooth it out a bit more. If Owen turns out, I have tons more projects I'd like to turn to next. Here's a sneak peak: The mouth looks weird on the Watts model because the picture I used for a skin had an open mouthed smile, which, when I apply it to the model, has the teeth become part of the skin, so they show up on the lips. The model without the skin applied shows how it would look in plastic. Wars

Thanks guys! I have a Mattel-sized Owen head on the way from Shapeways. I hope to receive it in a little over a week. Very excited to see how it turns out! In the meantime, I played around with the program for a bit today. Guess who! Wars

7-19 UPDATE Here they (almost) are! I know it's hard to make out the details, hopefully this weekend I can clean them up, sand and primer them and take beter pics. My first heads are the ones at the ends, both sized incorrectly, so I played it safe and had 4 more at differing sizes made and would just choose the closest fit. Two of them are perfect for JAKKS and Mattel sizes! Very cool stuff! If they turn out, I have two more ready to go, and I might offer this service to serious buyers for their own "dream custom." Wars

The Owen looks good, I find that the cheek have a little bit of chub to them but overall very good.

Wow, these are really impressive. I read through the posts, but I think I might have missed what program you are using to create these. Do you mind sharing?
