Ha, I am tediously sanding and smoothing out rough texture spots with acetone and a Q-Tip. I do need to cast it, as sanding resin is much easier than sanding out the plastic-waxy material they formed it in.
SOON, I promise!

Thanks guys! I have a Mattel-sized Owen head on the way from Shapeways. I hope to receive it in a little over a week. Very excited to see how it turns out! In the meantime, I played around with the program for a bit today. Guess who! Wars Gordy on the left, Rotunda on the right, but I can't make out who's in the center.

Finally, someone plays the game!
Center square is Jm J. Bullock. Wait, no, it's actually Rugged Ronnie Garvin!
Anywho, I did mold the Owen heads last night and will pour casts of them tonight. I will paint up one bald to see how it looks.

Okay, due to demand, I quickly painted up a cast head without all the sanding and prep I plan on doing on the next ones. Yes, he's bald, I know. This is to see the face details. The head is still rough looking in person. Tomorrow I will paint another layer of skintone and maybe look for a sealer or varnish that might smooth the whole thing out. Wars

Funny I've always wanted a Ronnie Garvin figure. The very first match I ever saw was Ric Flair versus Ronnie Garvin in a cage. Looking forward to seeing that one done as well.

You are incredible! I hope this works out well for you because I'd really love to see an extension on other heads from really just about all eras (that won't get you into trouble). I know your time is probably limited but to dream of the possibilities is exciting stuff!

A Quick question about Owen, will you make a Mattel head? That's it on the table behind Owen's left leg. I thought I remembered you saying you were doing heads for both. Be especially interested to see how the Mattel one turns out but as I've said incredible work so far.
