Thread title needs updated again. Rangers obsession since 1872 thread. I think the fish and chip pawnshop cup got more attention from us last year. It was certainly a better game anyway. But yeah, whatever tides you over. What do you reckon your chances are against Utd? Bout 15/1

Jings, you try and have a reasoned debate with someone and you're obsessed? Maybe it's just because you're not quite ready to admit that the pennies are running out.
Anyway... Cheers Utd! £80 richer now.

Balls!
Och well. All in all a nae bad weekend, and a nae bad season so far. Pressure's now on to finish second which is a long, long way off. 9 points should do it, and hopefully we pick up three of them on Friday.

Biggest game of our season tonight, beat St Mirren and we're up to 7th with a 5 point gap between us and County. Surely safe if we win, surely.

Seems to be the story of your season. Better team throughout the majority of the game but a mistake or bad decision stops you coming away with what you deserved. Kenny McLean looked really bright for them, as did Higginbotham for you. It could get very, very tense if County and Hearts win this weekend. One point separating 5 teams I think! Edit: Sorry, it's 2 points.

Made up for Andrew Robertson getting Player of the year in the same one he got called up for Scotland. He's had an amazing season.
Gutted Dools didn't get goal of the season, still my favourite by far from us this season,

Excellent game last night, fun watch. we need to beat Hearts tonight, or draw, to stay up.
Watched the game from saturday between Celtic & Aberdeen, would have said it was a stonewall penalty but after the Higgy fiasco against St Mirren I'd say tripping over your own feet in the box constitutes a penalty. How good are our referees, eh?

How good are our referees, eh? Just what I like to see. A good entertaining game, a loud crowd and Utd getting pumped. Even better... It was by us The Celtic game shouldn't matter now. Probably would have managed a draw which really doesn't change the situation for Sunday. I think I'll be able to get a stream for the Motherwell game tonight as it's on Alba so hopefully I won't be sitting glued to the radio and I'll get to see Caley give us a wee helping hand. Even a draw means we'd have to get beat 7-0 on Sunday to lose 2nd. I really hope you win tonight, as I hate Hearts and it would drag Hibs closer to the bottom. I'm now thinking I want Killie down as it a whoore o a journey. Either them or St Mirren purely for their bowf stadium and honking strip.

How do the relegation play offs work? Strap yourself in, we've made a c**t of it again. All ties played home and away. 3rd vs 4th (3rd or 4th) vs 2nd (3rd, 4th or 2nd) vs 11th

Maybe this was the only way the Premiership teams would agree to it mind you. Nonetheless, it's still a bit silly. 11th vs 4th playing the winner of 2nd vs 3rd was surely the way to go. And with the final at a neutral ground. QotS won the first leg against Falkirk 2-1. I hope to hell they don't come up or that could be a hell of a trip. Well over a 4 hour bus journey. No thanks. Especially with Ross County in the league. A midweek game between that two would surely be the lowest crowd ever at a top tier Scottish game?

What a night! Easily one of the best I've ever had as a Thistle fan, we were fantastic! Need to build for next season now.

Congrats! Aiming for top 6 next season? I don't know if I want Killie or Hibs to go down. Neither if it QotS in the final I suppose.
Also, how did we manage to screw up nae getting the play offs televised? Surely that was a large part of the reason for them being implemented in the first place. Even if the football's nae great like the English lower leagues the entertainment and drama is brilliant!

Even if the football's nae great like the English lower leagues the entertainment and drama is brilliant! If we can keep Higgy, and bring in one or two, I don't see why not. Finish the season with a win against county on Saturday then 7th spot is ours depending on the St Mirren result. Really unbelievable for us considering at half timevyesyerday we were 11th. I want the Killie to go down, one man team. Once Boyd goes, and I'm sure he will, they have nothing and deserve to be first division. Queens won't beat Falkirk at falkirk's own ground. I hope Hamilton don't come up. Crap fans and crappy wee ground. They'll bring nothing. Falkirk vs Killie is my prediction, and Falkirk will win. I'm still buzzing from last night, fans were brilliant. We've been the same all season. I think last night trumps Airdrie last season, something I never thought I would say. I can't wait to make the trips again next season, loved our away days. Mon the Jags!!!

Mon the Jags!!! I've heard rumblings of Higginbotham going to Hearts. God only knows why. It's been unbelievable the way the bottom half has turned out. Had Hearts not been -15 points then it would have been such an exciting end to the season. You take the Premiership from 2nd to 11th and it's been a phenomenal league! The last time we were down at Hamilton the lassies at the pie queue were the best thing about the trip. Not sure if they're worth going back for but they weren't too shabby. Enjoy it while it lasts. Good to see we've both got something to celebrate this season and hopefully much more of the same next season as well.

Europe Human League Cup Champions A song in the charts Semi Final of Scottish Cup having beaten Celtic and Partick Stopped Celtic's "Invincibles" season A positive manager for the first time in a long, long time Half way to a very good squad
That'll do for me.
Great season and hopefully it gives McInnes something to aim for next season.
