Talked to a lot of the players last night at Player of the Year, Higgy has to be the most humble guy I've ever met. It went from a handshake and a quick congratulations on his awards to a full blown fanboy conversation whilst holding hands, haha. No but seriously, he told me and everyone else last night that he's got 1 year left on his contract and he will be here next season. I believe him, what I think if anything is that we'll get some offers and its whether or not we can afford to knock them back.
One guy who may be moving is ATS, sincy seems to be gone already. Hope a decent club picks him up, top player.
Another I hope we keep is Stevie Lawless, he said he had a talk with Archie but he's not sure if he's signing since he's not getting first team football. Will be a damn shame, main player in our championship season. Great guy to, if only he could get his Sky+ working haha.
Great season, and no offence McBlake but I'm glad we're not playing you next season. If all goes well for us, I'm hoping we'll play you in an SPFL game at some point.
Looking forward to the summer, should be interesting to see what happens player in/out wise.
Roll on pre season, can't wait!

Looking forward to the summer, should be interesting to see what happens player in/out wise. Roll on pre season, can't wait! I didn't realise that. When I heard he was away I'd assumed he was out of contract and I was clearly wrong. Hopefully he stays and he seems to fit in with the style of play at Firhill. Hopefully that can be built on for next season successfully and the likes of St Mirren and Killie - and with Hearts out of the way - can change their ways from bully boy football to stylish play that entertains. We could really make a successful league out of teams trying to play football. Taylor-Sinclair... Maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, but a very good source tells me we've sorted out a good attacking full back. --------------New Keeper------------- Logan Reynolds Anderson/Consi ATS ------------Flood Robson-------------- ------New Winger Pawlett Hayes----- ---------------Rooney------------------ That's a very good side and I really hope that we can get a few solid signings to replace who's going out. I reckon that team would dominate against our 2007-2008 team that got past the UEFA Cup group stages. Magennis, Vernon, Weaver and maybe Low all away from full time wages and Tate's loan ending should free up some money to get the required players in and I can really see McGinn being sold. He just doesn't seem to really be here. Totally anonymous for at least the last 2 games. Like you, I can't wait for next season. EDIT: Oh, and just for giggles... Lennon to Norwich Moyes to Celtic You heard it here first!

Weaver, Tate, Vern and Magennis all gone. Low, Robson and Anderson 1 year deals. Logan released from Brentford and looks like he'll stay. Jamie MacDonald and Ben Williams still available (please please please please!!!!!) Pawlett and Reynolds in the Scotland squad.
Lennon the bookie's favorite for Norwich job. and just to complete the obsession, Sevco have sold very few season tickets (low thousands). People saying they will still pay at the gate but if the soccerball is as bad as I've seen from them in the past 2 years then it will be very hard to conjure up the urge to go for a lot of them.

Well, St Johnstone win the major trophy, which almost completes the season for Scotland. Hibs and Falkirk or Hamilton to battle it out for a place in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. A battle in which I fully expect to have two teams battle with all they have, to get the opportunity at the big time. Roll on the play offs!!

If hibs go down then it'll be a three horse race next season in the championship. I hate going to Hamilton, even though its a 15 minute trip. We never get a good result through there. Here's hoping they don't saddle us with a trip up north on a Monday night or a 12.15 kick off. Those two trips were ing brutal. Ian McCall for the Morton job BTW, thoughts? He did an, ok job with us and he's been out of management for a while but I think they're on the decline and if they don't sort it out soon they'll be in danger if going straight down again!

Gutted for Dunfermline, been tipping them for play off promotion all season. Watched it and cowdenbeath deserved the win, tore them apart. At least they should win automatic next season.

Signed Gary Fraser to an improved contract. Crackin player, even if he is wee mad mental! Lol.
I wantef hibs to go down and Falkirk up, but with them out I'm not sure I want accies up. Terrible stadium and no atmosphere in their 1 home stand that's half full. Rather keep the hibees up, they bring something to the spfl that accies don't.
I've not seen accies play this season obviously but I've heard the football they play isn't the best at times so I'm not convinced, looking forward to seeing the game on TV and judge then, should be a cracker.

Anyway, I see it being Larsson to Celtic, Lennon to WBA, Sherwood to Brighton and Mackay to Norwich.

But I guess neither did Lennon when he came in to Celtic. I'm sticking with McNamara, I think he turned down the Blackpool job because of this!

It's not much, but it's something.

Sure he's sentimental favourite, but I think a manager like malcky McKay or Paul Lambert would be better suited.

Yeah that's fair enough, but what I'm saying is the reason Lennon left is no money budget, losing big players and possibly no champions league. If I was Celtic, I'd want a manager that had experience to get through all that. Could Larsson cope with that this early on in has managerial career ?

Doolan signed up till 2016. With the exception of Lee Mair leaving, Archie's playing a blinder so far.
Here's hoping for Osbourne getting a new contract!
