I can't find a single picture of Saturn wearing that cow outfit. But he definitely wore it at least once about seven years ago, when I first gave it to him. - he wore it at Rumble 2002 but they were trunks and he had full chest tatts

Wow, thanks, Big Tel! It's been a while since I made this figure, so I can't remember the details. I must have made him with a different outfit before he had the new chest tats, then never updated them after giving him the cow trunks. I always thought his 'new' chest tats were horrendously ugly, not to say anything of his 'new' face tattoo. I prefer a classic Radicalz look.

Wait, by "trunks" do you mean underwear? I can't think of why I would have given him shorts if he never wore them.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. If the goal is to play with the figs, I don't understand why one wouldn't equip them maxi-bendation or make them more realistic in other respects (e.g., toning down absurd muscle mass). Maybe I have a duller imagination. I'm working on a Rhyno now that I hope will generate some discussion. I've never seen a good Rhyno figure. Ever. I hope to correct that!

Great work man. I really like the Saturn!! Your work is refreshing compared to the trend that customs have gone lately. The style reminds me a lot of old school M2k.

@camcintosh, which head is that on Rhyno? It is looking like a solid figure so far! Your originality for your customs is just so refreshing and makes me want to attempt working on the few R3 bodies I have just to try something different.

The head is from the old ECW figure. I walk though how to make it compatible with Jakks/Mattell parts here. Aside from the hair, there are no R3 parts on this figure. Almost entirely Elite. I list all the parts on the same page linked to above.

@camcintosh, I thought that was the ECW head. I learned the method a bit ago to make heads compatible. Just did one with a Galoob Ric Steiner for Mattel and a few BCA Jakks.

Amazing work on the Rhyno, best head I've ever seen for him - amazed its form the old OSFTM line. The part choices you used for his body works perfectly as well.

@camcintosh Whats ur method for carving or shaving off bodies?
I wanna slim down a mattel body for a 123 kid. And i wanna shave the headband off zack ryder and others and want a smooth forehead.
And can you shave a bit of hair and recarve it?
I've got dremel but never used the sander.
Thanks in advance. Always enjoy your extra uniqe works.

And can you shave a bit of hair and recarve it? I've got dremel but never used the sander. Thanks in advance. Always enjoy your extra uniqe works. If it’s a major cut, like taking 3mm off the bottom of a torso (as I did with Rhyno), I use a metal cutting disk dremel bit. But 80% of the shaving, etc. is done with a (roughly) 100 grade grindstone bit. For a smoother shave, I use a (roughly) 200 grade bit. Both are run at around 10-20k rpm. Both bits are pictured here: To finish the surface, I go over it by hand again with 320 grade sandpaper, and then once more with 600 grade sandpaper. You can absolutely shave a bit of hair and re-carve it. You can shape a piece of plastic almost any way you want using the right dremel bits. But you can only "take away" with the dremel, so be careful not to take off too much. Otherwise you'll have to correct it by adding, say, molding putty. I do that frequently: when I need more mass to shape than what is already there, I add putty, let it dry, then dremel that as well. I have pics of this process on my customs Facebook page, where I show the stages of changing one Kane mask into another using a dremel, putty, and sandpaper. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other questions.

As usual, click on the name of the figure to see more pics of the figure and customization process over at my blog KaneOne notable feature is that I used real mesh on the outfit instead of paint.

This is the single best Kane Anyone has ever made , it's completely flawless . I beg someone to dare argue it . I would say it looks factory made but it's better than that . I can't wait to own it . I appreciate all your work and close attention to detail. It's still is crazy that people are not raving about your work . But I guess if it's not Mattel no one cares anymore And that's unfortunate .

Thats just too good man! What kind of mesh is that and how did u get it on? Just superglue? I don't know what kind of mesh it is, really. I just wandered around Joanne Fabrics until I found the right kind of material. It's mostly just glued on around the edges, but for the legs I cut thin strips of plastic around the perimeter, pinched it underneath them, then glued the strips back down. That gave it a nice, crisp and clean look. I wish I had done something similar with the singlet. I found that supergluing the fabric directly over the skin wasn't good because it changed the color or crusted up, so I tried to hide everywhere it's attached.
