That looks sick man. I'd love to see it next to some mattels. I love the paint job.
EDIT: I love your work. I just checked out your website. You have a real good talent for customizing. Big Up's. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to see some more customs.

Thanks guys. I used to do this all the time, but placed it on a 7-8+ year hiatus as I got a full time job and went through college. I settled down recently and took it back up. So in addition to making new stuff (the cell, mats, etc.), I'm restoring my old custom figs. That's why a lot of them have dated outfits and gimmicks.

Please combine your posts in this thread. Both paint jobs look good. What part(s) were sculpted?? Wars How should I make threads? I've been posting pics of individual figs as I finish them. Should I wait until I finish two or three and create one thread for them, rather than individual threads for each fig? Or is there a better way, like updating a single thread? Benoit: The entire upper body of is sculpted (if I remember correctly, it's a HHH R3 body); chest, arms and hair. The legs are an R3 Edge with cross-sections taken out for height adjustment. For RVD, the muscle on the arms are toned back a bit, and the shorts of the singlet are shortened and the black underarmour is lengthened. I also spliced black kneepad knee joints into his legs. Both figures have maxi-bendation.

Wow very impressed these are awesome for being R3 Tech. That Benoit looks awesome, love the metallic blue paint design looks dead on.
RVD very very very impressive and Extremely detailed work here. You have a great attention to detail here.
Spike Dudley looks good, what lower legs did you use? Didn't think R3 released pants like that. Love the choice of head and hair used here. The attire is well done nice and clean.
I see tons of potential here keep up the good work and would love to see you take part in a Custom Tournament sometime.

Oh I see. Sounds fun!
I have a hard time imagining my customs being compared to others, though. From what I've seen, I seem to make mine with different goals in mind, such as trying to make them as realistic as possible. The other customs I've seen are excellent, but in their own way: no one seems as bothered by the wildly unrealistic muscle mass on all factory figs as I am. Also, if playability is the standard, then any custom that has maxi-bendation is simply objectively better than one that doesn't. Apples and oranges.
