Very cool thank you for sharing. Two theories are that all the hogan bio's are Canadian releases and/or that LJN had a certain amount of correct Cards already in production when Grand Toys took over LJN and Grand Toys had no intention of renewing the WWF lenience and just wanted to half ass what they had out the door and be done with it.

^^ nice pick Mr. Old School..
there is also definitely a warrior 89 biocard... as about a year ago, i had it in my watch list to purchase the full cardback for my collection, but then i totally forgot and it ended at like $8.. dunno why i didnt put a bid.. i would definitely pay a decent amount for it (tho it was really creased up)
i have personally had the andre and bossman biocards, but sold them before i started collecting them (tho im only collecting fullcardbacks right now)
also, there are others in the 89 series with their own cards that i have links to the pictures if you need to see. Demolition Ax on an 89 and Jake the Snake on an 89...
ive also see the Jake, Macho and Ax 89 posters as well (and i have the hogan one, which is common)

I love how he says in the listing, "How many THOUSANDS is this worth??", which leads me to believe his reserve won't be met. Thumbs up!!! BS description!! Never saw before that someone told new buyers what he sold in the past and for what money in the auction!! So everyone know that nothing happens under $2000 !! Good luck

I have the macho man 89 full cardback along with the ax 89 poster and bio card.. took a long time just to track those ones down. I know the macho 89 poster sold for like $180 last year. Too rich for my blood

Just found pics of their bio's thanks to a Google search. I really wonder if any correct Duggan '89 bio's exist because I haven't seen one yet. Also can be said for DiBiase '89, Studd '89, Brutus '89 and Bam Bam '89. Those might be even more rare than a correct Savage '89. We've at least seen a correct Savage '89 bio card. Can't say the same about the ones I just listed there.

^ i have seen a correct MOC macho 89.. great item... havent seen the ones you mentioned.. but I DONT think Bam Bam 89 even exists at all.. it would make perfect sense that the only 89 re-releases are the ones on the back of the 89 cards.. dont see why bam bam would be in this...

Isn't it great that I kept these pics?? Haha. Here's a MOC '89 Bam Bam Bigelow. Whether or not it has the correct bio on the back, I have no idea. Probably not, I'm guessing. If a correct '89 Bam Bam DOES exist, it's more rare than the Macho Man. I have NEVER seen an '89 Bam Bam for sale on eBay, where-as I've seen an '89 Macho Man a few times now.

I have collected and observed MOC LJNs since about 1996 and the one thing I can say for certain is that I have seen the following Wrestline Superstars '89 figures without the correct backs:
Adrian Adonis (this was on eBay in 2008, I believe) Bam Bam Bigelow Big John Studd Bret Hart (the notable one that was on eBay in 2004 that nobody is sure the legitimacy of) Ted DiBiase
I have seen a correct Brutus, Elizabeth, and Jake however.
I'm with the person that says that if they weren't on the '89 cardback, they probably only came with the Hulk Hogan backing. I've thought this way for years. I would wager someone has a correct BJS or M$M but that I just have never seen it.

That figure does NOT exist. Plain and simple. Only way I will believe it is if I see it. And even then, I might still doubt it because people are doubting the '89 Bam Bam Bigelow. If you've seen an '89 Elizabeth, PLEASE do us all a favor and post pics!!! Not sure if the '89 Bam Bam is fake or not. If it weren't for the little sticker in the corner, I'd say it's fake. But because it has Bam Bam Bigelow's name on the sticker in the corner which looks as real as any other LJN sticker, I've got to lean towards real until proven otherwise. They were re-using some stuff towards the end, right?? Reused Jesse Ventura mold for Ax, reused many Hogan '89 cardbacks for various figures, etc. Then, it's more than possible they reused Boss Man's bubble for this figure.

I can't help with pictures of the Elizabeth figure but I really have no reason to lie. I saw it at a memorabilia show in Edison, NJ in 1999.

Side note: Tomart's at one point used to list that the entire Bigelow series was available on Black Cards but I've never seen or heard of OMG or others.

Even tho I havent seen it, I am always one that will believe that the Liz 89 exists, because she is on the back of the 89 cards, and would make sense for her to have one. I actually didnt know a bam bam existed until recently.. seems weird he would be the only one NOT on the cardback to have an 89... i dont think Adonis has an 89, just has a black card.

Two things..... First BamBam bubble looks huge and sticker couldve been removed from original BamBam packaging.
Second Why would Adonis have a Black Card in the '89 series? He left the WWF after Wrestlemania 3 but more importantly He died in July 1988!
