No, for reasons already mentioned. You got basics and elites, whether they are legends or "flashbacks" or current or divas it doesn't matter. They can/should increase number of legends in a wave when they have signed hot commodity names

I was thinking about this the other day... I'd love to see it happen, but doubt it will.
I'd like to see about 4 Flashback (or rebranded Legends) series a year, along with the 6 regular/current roster Elite series. That way, they could get more Flashbacks out - especially if big names like Hogan, Flair, Sting are coming - and it also frees up space in the main line for things like tag-teams, first-time figures and more of the popular guys/good sellers.
You could have repaints of popular earlier Legends and Flashbacks in the new Flashback line too.
(I know, I'm dreaming...)

It's now or never.... I think MDT knows this.
With all the new signings, contracts running out and WWE Network premiering this is the perfect time for a Flashback line.

Normally I'd say we're beating a dead horse here but, since the flashbacks were introduced in series 12, they've been selling relatively well and the only ones that warmed shelves mildly were Papa Shango and Christian. A good measuring stick would be how good the WMXXX flashbacks sell, and then maybe they can release more iconic sets like this a few times a year.

I think with the addition of Hogan, Sting, and Flair to the line, a seperate Legends line would be greatly successful now. Plus, you throw in names like HBK, Warrior, Savage, and Triple H that all have multiple fun attires that haven't been made before and you can make a really nice Legends line. They could add 2-3 of those names per set, every set for several sets and they would always sell well.

Vamp55 We can have this discussion till we're all blue in the face. It all lays in Billy Boy's hands at Mattel. The fact he has said their NEVER will be a Razor/Scott gives me little hope for the series in general. ...has he definitely said this?

Separating Flashbacks/Legends from the Elite line would be awful. Retailers don't want it, so the only option would be MattyCollector or RSC. And that way already failed once. Hulk Hogan figures should be sold at retail, not as Internet exclusives. I'd buy them either way, but I'd rather keep things the way they are now than have Legends have their own Internet-exclusive line.

Ya I would like to see some kind of new series of 4 figures or so a few times a year with some kind of Wrestlemania or other PPV theme like they are doing with Bret and Shawn but with some other guys. If they get Hogan, Flair and Sting you know they could pull that off nice.

If not it's own line, they should expand flashbacks to basic 2 packs and a set of six every couple basic waves. Some flashback wrestlers have simple attires that wouldn't sell for $18 but would sell for $10(Mr. Perfect, Jake Roberts, Vader, early Shawn Michaels, Rick Martel, hopefully Flair and Hogan someday...). As long as business is good, I guess I can't complain too much about the great stuff we get. Basics and basic 2 packs is a terrible idea. What about us elite only collectors? So we miss out on legends because they get the basic treatment. No thanks stick to elites only please.

I don't mine the basics we currently get along the way, but I wouldn't want a full switch.

I'd like basics if they were easy to switch to elites.... Hercules Hernandez, piper with new scan, Dugan with new scan etc but that may be just me but I'm with you guys, I hate basics, all my legends are elites and will always be
And yea bill said never to razor a while ago. But I don't think it really means never, if wwe change their mind on razor then maybe Mattel will too. Never say Never!

...has he definitely said this? around last summer I viewed every single post Bill made on here, he said various things about Hall and why he will not have a figure, everything to his reputation, drug and alcohol abuse all way to the fact that he has killed someone as his reasoning for not making a Razor/Hall fig. And watch his body language EVERY SINGLE TIME he is interviewed and asked about Razor/Hall he completely deflates and becomes irritated and annoyed. In my opinion Bill PERSONALLY does not like Scott Hall as a person and that's why he makes NO ATTEMPT to sign him, and his cop-out answer every time to the Razor/Hall fig question is "not signed" Well I hope that he has cleaned up so much can make a difference down the line, cause that jakks Razor sucked. Looked more like the fake Razor than Scott Hall.
