Considering Cena is already a 15-time World Champion, one more title reign and he ties Nature Boy Ric Flair's record of 16 World Titles so should Cena break Flair's record and be recognized as the greatest of all time? Honestly in my opinion Cena should not break the record if anything personally I feel he isn't worthy of it but if anything Cena probably will break the record but Flair has had this record for years now but records are meant to be broken

I couldn't care less. Number of reigns is meaningless these days. Edge was an 11 champion, but most lasted under three months. Quality over quantity these days.
Will he? Probably.

Cena will definitely tie Flair's record if not at the Rumble then definitely at some point this year...either way Cena will surpass Flair it is only a matter of time

He will tie it within the next couple months. It wont mean crap in his day and age anyway. He has had more meaningless and empty title reigns than good ones.

And plus when Nature Boy when he had his 16 title reigns they actually meant something in the sense that not only were they not empty they actually had significance and relevancy behind it

Cena is 1000% passing Flair. How are people still not to terms with this yet? It doesn't make Flair any less awesome. WWE writes the history, Flair was an NWA guy, this was inevitable.
LeBron will never, ever, be Jordan. Likewise, Cena will never, ever, be Flair. WOOOO!!!

I think he should.
Cena has been the man for the last ten years. That is a long time to stay on top.
I grew up a Hulkamaniac. In my opinion the Rock and Stone Cold were the only two wrestlers who came close to replacing Hogan as the guy.
Until Cena came along.
There is no one around poised to replace Cena in the same way he's replaced those that went before him. Until that person steps up Cena will have to periodically win the strap and carry the company.
That's just my opinion.
If it does happen I would like to see Flair involved in the angle.

And not only that but Flair had a way longer career than Cena did, Flair's longevity surpasses Cena's by far, Flair was in the business for like 36 years or something like that, Cena has only been in the business what 12 years at that not even half the time Flair has been there

If anything definitely there are so many superstars who can replace Cena as "the man" like Reigns, Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose even so many who can carry the company on their back, Cena isn't needed anymore if you ask me

Cena is not worthy but we all know he will but if anyone should have been the one to surpass Flair it should have been Randy Orton, Flair's former Evolution teammate and protege now he should have been the one to surpass Flair breaking Flair's record or even The Rated R Superstar Edge being the one to break Flair's record of title reigns if Edge had never sustained that career-ending injury

The title doesn't mean the same today as it did when Flair had it. I don't care if Cena had twice the number of title reigns as Flair. Flair's will still be held in higher regard.

He shouldn't but he will. He won't be breaking it in my book anytime soon however. Just to make myself feel better, Flair is a recognized 16 time world champion. Flair's actually something like a 21 time world heavyweight champion, that's only counting reigns recognized by the company he was working for. If you count the number of times Flair had to drop the strap to keep the crowd from rioting just to win it back the next night Flair's gotta be something like a 30 time world champ

Cena is a far more worthy champ.
