Kalisto to have a gay hairstylist gimmick???

Well here's some good news:


- It was reported last night via Reddit’s MetsFan4Ever that WWE NXT officials recently tested out Kalisto with a gay hair stylist gimmick and that it may be his new character going forward.

A WWE source reached out today and said that the report is not true and there will be no character change with Kalisto.

Kalisto was trending worldwide on Twitter around midnight after the report came out and fan reaction was not positive.

If you ask me, this is just internet propaganda, designed to turn the IWC against WWE even more so by instigating ridiculous repackaging rumors that make fans doubt how WWE will manage the excellent NXT Talent.

Don't buy it until it happens.

It's funny because if it was to happen, the only people who would halt the gimmicks long term success are the same people who are already dreading it happening. Us.

I liked Grenier and this pretty much killed his career. I like Kalisto and this will pretty much kill his career.

Yeah, actually since you've mentioned Rico, right after he finished managing 3 Minute Warning, his character turned into an Adrian Street character.

Yeah, just like Adam Rose and the Bunny were internet propaganda. The WWE doesn't care what you, I or any other fans want, this is Vince's personal playground. The proof is in the pudding. The "excellent" NXT talent, will be mostly jobbers when they get up to the main roster. 

Halting it's success? A gay hair stylist ceiling in WWE, is Simon Dean. You act like it would be some great gimmick and not Vince playing homophobe on live TV every week. Every segment would be him trying to touch other men, and make gay people look TERRIBLE.

And Sheamus is Irish, Vince is Irish at least in part, he's not going against his own kind. Just African American, and UK. 

Yeah and if the NXT talent gets promoted without being repackaged, 'you I and all' fans will just have to find something else to complain about as an example of how "vince is out of touch" etc.

To be fair, Adam Rose was packaged as such before making the main roster. Leo Kruger wouldn't have made it past Superstars.

It pisses me off how negative 'informed' fans can be. NXT is the holy grail for developing talent. It's been practically flawless since it was launched, no company could ever dream of better developmental. It's rich in world reknown talent, who are being showcased in the right way.... And yet, you still get these pessimistic idiots who prefer to think Vince will "ruin" them.

Seriously the IWC. WWE give them gold with NXT, and instead of enjoying it for what it is, they'd rather conspire to question its relevance with ridiculous (confirmed as) fake rumours like this.

Adam Rose is hopeless, in black trunks or diamond glitter, he was never going to make it! When Finn Balor and Sami Zayn are repackaged as the second coming of The Bushwackers, I'll consider their careers at risk. But you can clearly see by watching the network and seeing the feedback, the NXT talent are in very good hands right now, regardless of how much the IWC want to deny it.

NXT was far less endorsed back when Big E and Bo Dallas were regularly on the show. It's not WWE's fault that they've struggled to make an impression, they were given pushes and faith was installed in them, they weren't altered or repackaged like you claim damages these up and comers.. Do you really believe Finn Balor, Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens would fall into the same bracket? With the support they'd get from the live audiences? If so you can't be watching much of NXT.

Adam Rose hasn't ever done anything worthy, that was my point. No real loss.

What's wrong with being an optimist?! I'd rather choose to enjoy the product that I watch for what it is, instead of torture myself with it like pessimists like you! You aren't cultured informed or unique, you're just one of many who are far too concerned with conspiring on how everything may go downhill tommorow to enjoy what's happening today.

And hey, everything I've just said is strictly opinion. I'm not gunna make any 'guaruntees'. Because I don't need to make naive predictions to reassure myself of my standing In some form of unspoken prediction chart, but I will remember this debate if WWE choose to successfully debut 5-6 NXT talents at once similar to the Nexus. In which case your 'one hand' will likely require extra fingers overnight.

If you believe that strongly that WWE and NXT are going to flop within 12 months, why the hell would you continue to watch it?! Just to complain, or claim to have seen it coming? That's the purest definition of a pessimistic idiot.
