Unlike others, I'm not gonna sit here and pretend to know who is right and who is wrong. I'm a fan of Punk, I'm a fan of WWE, and this lawsuit doesn't affect either. And most importantly it doesn't affect me.

"Oh yeah, week I'm a fan do I decide he's telling the truth."  Him being a prick doesn't really mean he is lying. Like I said, if he can get a statement from Dr Bateman who removed it, it'll be hard to argue that he went a while without anything being done about it. Which will work against Amann. And if Punk was lying about things during it, I don't see why he'd lie about the doctor. Because he's a giant prick who decides to badmouth the company he feels disrespected by. He's a great wrestler, but he's a pretty crapty person. I will never understand this point of view. He's far from the first former wrestler to air his grievances publicly. Why does no other wrestle catch this much hell for doing shoot interviews? What what about HHH and Stephane? They bad mouthed Punk on Raw, why is that okay? |

Punk strikes me as a lot of things, a liar isn't one of them. Exactly, dude may be like the biggest bunghole on the planet but not a liar. Plus, what would he have to gain from lying on that podcast? He already got WWE to pay him, he got out of his contract and is doing whatever he wants now, he gains nothing. Slandering a company doctor I don't think is a priority for him. |

I have friends who worked with him in ROH and IWAMS. I know enough about him. I respect that. But story or opinion is not enough to make a deduction about the quality of a person. When you hear similar stories from nearly a dozen people, yes, it is. |

I do tend to believe what Punk said. Anyone watching could tell how bad of a shape he was in during the end of 2014/beginning of 2014. He looked terrible.And, if what Punk sais IS ture, then Dr. Amann can go himself. Agreed here. I remember re-watching one of his matches from December right before he left and he looked horrible. I wouldn't be shocked if Punk was telling the truth. All Punk really needs to do is get the other doctor to testify on his behalf about the Staph infection. |
