They're not making figures. They're making stuff along the lines of costumes, remote control cars, etc. Not main series WWE figures. "The new WWE-Jakks Pacific pact will see the company produce, distribute and sell WWE products for everyday dress up, role-play, radio control vehicles, seasonal costumes, and JAKKS’ 3D IT™ Character Creator brand, in addition to action figures across the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region" read the last part. |

I wish they could make one series of figures again though, Build N' Brawl  Those were my shiznit. Regardless, I grew up in the age of Jakks, so it's great to know they're in business again, just do the etcetera stuff and not interfere with Mattel. |

If they could make a partnership of doing the heads (to scale for Mattel of course) and come out with some more of those awesome accessories that came with the grapple gear (Weight bench with die cast metal bar, wheelbarrel, dumpster, exercise bike, etc) then that would be neat. Glad they are only sticking to roleplay stuff. Much like most people if this ending the Mattel line (or when the Mattel line does end) I will be done collecting as I don't want to collect different scale all over again.

As long as this doesn't  with Mattel resigning in 2019 then fine. But if it does... I'm not starting over another collection with Jakks subpar merchandise. No way. |

This really does not make any sense, first mattel got the license to make figures and rings. Then a few years later wicked cool toys comes around and is apparently working with mattel to make rings, thumbpers, and other wwe themed merch. Now jakks is back is play doing the same thing ?? Along with mcfarlane making $300 statues, and nkok making products for them as well in case no one knew. nkok.com/nkok_brands/wwe/I am at a loss with this... |

With JAKKS/WWE being back on good terms....
Could this lead to a co-op where JAKKS lends the logos/packaging - for a rebirth of the "Classic Superstars" line via Mattel?
I think I would scream like a little girl if I saw new Mattel figures utilizing the old "Classic Superstars" packaging.....

We'll be good when it comes to our Mattel figures. WWE figures are doing so good with Mattel there wouldn't be a need to move us to JAKKS. JAKKS will be doing other things besides the figures that we love. They would be like Wicked Cool Toys that does wrestling rings, huge figure ect ect. Just more WWE product.
Personally if they do (In the future) move to JAKKS I'm sticking with Mattel and Bill, if they start to produce ROH, TNA or Global Force figures. Love my Mattel figures.

But they just plain out suck dude haha That's absolutely true lol. Punk and Hardy would have bodies the size of Lashley and Batista, completely opposite of the Protos. There were so many cons, but I still kept buying them dammit, and the ultimate eff you when they didn't even make the figures in the last two series, and just rereleased Cena's and HHH's basically hahah. |
