Yeah...No thanks. If Mattel doesn't renew their contract in 2019 and Jakks takes over, I'm done collecting. Wouldn't you wait to see the product first? Technology has come a long way since Jakks first did figures |

This worries me. The stuff it seems like they will be making I would normally associate with Wicked Cool Toys. Did WCT lose their contract? Hope not. Would like to get a few more accessories for my ASR. And I've said it before, Mattel figures are my last run, no way I'm starting fresh again. However, if the figures Jakks releases for Asia are 3.75 scale I'll be pissed!

I'm happy to see the products before my toys are tossed from my pram!
Can't wait to see the figures they make. Not looking forward to overpaying on the secondary market though

Interesting news and we will see what this leads to exactly. I would love to see Jakks produce accessories for the Mattel line like Grapple Gear and stuff. Maybe this could lead to more legends deals with the increased need for figures and stuff I don't know.

i bought jakks figures off and on for years.
i'll always buy wrestling figures but definitely not in the extreme mass i have with mattel.
but a macho man or doink toy or a ric flair toy--can't ever not buy it (dont do what donnie dont does)

So action figures for the Asia Pacific region? What the hell does that mean?
I live in AUstralia so I'm guessing we will never see Mattels (not that we get sh*t anyway) - but are likely to see these.
Only really collect elites, if Mattel is done in 2019, so am I... I have all but moved onto 1/6 and playarts now anyway. This maybe the end of a 20 year run collecting wrestling figures.
