Wow.
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this.
Yes, I knew Cena was probably going to lose as he was leaving, but just think about this.
Cena lost in the opening match. To a superkick. In about 7 minutes. Completely clean.
It's absolutely astounding.

And it was to a former World Champion who was a main event guy. Which doesn't shock me. It's cool that there is a new US Champion, but it is some what a shame that Cena couldn't put over a mid-card guy like a Cesaro, or even Rusev again. ADR having the US Title is okay, but once he loses that I really don't know what they do with ADR in the WWE. I thought he was enjoying the independent scene, but I guess he realized a year into being gone from the WWE that the WWE pays the big money and that's what matters most.... even more so than your own integrity.

Second greatest night in the history of our sport.
Greatest night was when Lesnar killed him dead at Summerslam.

I completely lost it when Alberto came out. So much to the point where I was literally shaking. Nothing about him being at HIAC was leaked onto the internet, creating one of those genuinely shocking moments we rarely get in this day and age. The end of the Open Challenges for John Cena could have not been more well-done, nor could his opponent have been anyone better. SO ready for a rejuvenated Del Rio in WWE.

I thought I heard an interview where he said he was making more money working less days so idk why he wanted to go back

I heard it was Del Rio and it was like all the life got sucked out of me. I groaned so loud my neighbours called to make sure everything was okay. I rolled my eyes so hard I could see the inside of my head. Fortunately reading the other results brought it back.
...I do NOT like Alberto Del Rio.

Completely astounding that, after kicking out of 200 finishers every Monday night for the past seven months, Cena loses to a simple Super Kick. Mind-boggling.

Kind of strange that Cena can beat Rollins clean all the time, but loses to ADR clean. So apparently ADR is the best wrestler in WWE...

I thought the show was decent overall, but the finish of the US and World title matches both fell extremely flat, very anti-climactic. Both Cena and Kane went out looking like chumps.

It was garbage. The return of ADR, the match itself, the finish...
The only ray of light was the return of Zeb on a Hoveround.

I never liked Alberto Del Rio and I'm not happy to see him back. I wish somebody else could have gotten that moment.

Del Rio shouldn't have won clean after 7 minutes to a super kick. That makes every body Cena has ever fought look like crap except Brock. Especially the current WWE Champion, who has been Cena's personal jobber the last two months.
