I hope that Reigns holds onto the belt until Rollins gets healthy. Build Ambrose up with the IC title and give me a god damn Shield triple threat for the WWE World Heavyweight title at Summerslam! I would like it at Mania but that's expecting a lot to build up to something a year out.

I don't think some of you realize that whether it be Cena, or whoever, there will ALWAYS be a top babyface. And just like Cena, you don't always have to like him.

I keep reading about how great Raw was and I honestly though it sucked. I think that's another reason why it'll be good to take a break. If most people like it and I find it trash, maybe I'm the issue. Man, if people really thought it was great, I don't know what to say. I thought it was an improvement, a small nudge in the right direction at best, but I wouldn't even call it a good show, just one that didn't insult my intelligence quite as much as it has in recent weeks. The product is bad. Really, really bad. A show like this stands out because, well, stuff happened. Raw has so frequently become that show where 3 hours pass and you have nothing to show for it, that a hotshot angle like this becomes a rose-colored glasses thing almost immediately in hindsight. All of WWE's problems are still alive and well. Putting the title on Roman Reigns, finally, didn't solve any of that (not that it was ever going to.) They've dug themselves such a deep hole that, even if they did everything right, it would still probably take a good 12-18 months to really turn things around.

I enjoyed Raw. Not going to say it was the best ever but it was watchable and I was entertained for the majority of the show. Only question I have is Barrett injured or have they just decided to pull him from the League?

Vince is everything Stephanie needs to be. She slapped Reigns and he did nothing about it. You have to get the comeuppance. It's part of the story and part of the payoff. Imagine Stephanie terrors Austin and he did nothing in return? It just doesn't work. She slapped the Chocolate Shark outta Reigns too.

Of course Roman can't touch her in today's PC world, but Stephanie emasculates the male roster and nothing can be done to her. I've noticed that for the past few years, heels just dominate everything.

I won't be satisfied until Cena officially turns heel and challenges Roman at Mania. I don't want a face vs face with those 2 but I will be disappointed.

I think the most interesting thing going forward is whether or not Roman can stay over when he's not getting the rub from the McMahon equity. With all due respect and credit to Roman Reigns, he did not get himself over. The McMahon Family got him over. Without Triple H selling more than he perhaps ever has, without Stephanie delivering her best promo effort in months, and without Vince McMahon pulling out all of the stops as the evil Mr. McMahon character, Roman Reigns is in the same place as he was seven days ago.
WWE did it. Now it's all on Roman. His situation is incredibly fragile, and the ice could very well crack next week.

Last night still feels like a weird dream. The awful booking and the finish overall. I'm embarrassed to be a WWE fan right now and ashamed at the response that Reigns got in Philly of all places. That's the kind of BS I expect out of some podunk, shithole, mark town like Lexington. Did the usual Philly crowd just not show up because of how bad the product is?

That's the kind of BS I expect out of some podunk, craphole, mark town like Lexington. Did the usual Philly crowd just not show up because of how bad the product is? That sounds pretty pompous, dude. A crowd is going to react however they want, and like whoever they decide to like, despite what smarks think a crowd is SUPPOSED to be. A "usual" crowd, as if you know each person there and what kind of reaction they are going to have to a particular superstar on a given night? Embarrassed and ashamed? Give me a break, it's a TV show. This is the typical ridiculous "I didn't get what I wanted" response. So automatically it's all crap? Yeah, there was definitely booking snafu's last night, but ultimately WWE got what they wanted, Reigns was over with the crowd. *Despite the crowd being all kids, or not the normal fans, or plants, or whatever other excuse people who didn't like it are going to throw out.*

i still dont understand how Roman Reigns is "over"....i heard the same size pop when he won as when he won the title the first time, and when he's won his other 5073 matches this year. just because he wasn't mercilessly booed out of the building because Philly doesn't mean that all problems are solved, the WWE did it and now we have our #1 guy

I was at TLC Sunday night and they hated the guy until the post-match stuff, and then he got an enormous, sustained pop. Like I said, though, I don't think he got over. I think the McMahon's got him over, and now it's Roman's turn to sink or swim on his own. This is the same Roman Reigns that was involved in one of the worst closing segments of Raw in years just eight days ago. He didn't magically flip a switch and get better overnight. He took a step in the right direction, thanks to being paired up with characters far more over than he is, and being put in a position to look like a silent assassin type. They threw everything at the wall to get him the reaction he got. My concern, and I think WWE's shortsightedness comes next week when, presumably, the McMahons are gone and Roman is back to working with Sheamus, likely until the end of the year, at least. Roman and Sheamus is no more interesting now than it was when the bell rang on Sunday night. All of the intrigue came at the hands of the first family of wrestling, specifically Vince.

You need to see the speech or minutes long ovation he got after the show went off of the air. He earned phillys respect over the year and he acknowledged the fact that without their rumble reaction he might not of pushed himself to get better like he did. It was a genuine moment.
