Why or why not, and does he deserve any classic figures?

Punk was the longest reigning WWE Champion.

Punk was the longest reigning WWE Champion. Of the modern era, but not of all time.

This isn't the place to put it and no. Thanks. The related question was "does he deserve any classic figures?"

No he's much older & injury prone (not to mention he's not a good promo guy & WWE is surely going to inhibit his best qualities and limit his move set).

Punk was the longest reigning WWE Champion. Of the modern era, but not of all time. Right. The way I look at it, CM Punk was ECW, World Heavyweight, WWE Champion. Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion. Half of those accomplishments don't even exist anymore. That's why I personally don't think it's fair to compare AJ to Punk.

No. I think he's too old at this point for WWE to invest in too heavily. I'm not saying I wouldn't be happy if he were to have some big runs but I just don't see it happening and him moving in as a long-term player. I'm not even really sure WWE will use him properly and give him a big run or two.

As far as WWE is concerned, he's had two matches. No need for a classic look.

I didn't care for Punk's in ring ability. Styles will be more successful to me but I doubt he will ever be as over as Punk.

They are not going to make figures of his Tna look I doubt that too unfortunately, which is a shame in my opinion. I liked his hair way better in TNA.

Aj is not gonna get big bucks to not to be one of the top guys. That being said I personally think he's a legit better wrestler and more exciting than punk in the ring, but punk runs circles around him when it comes to promos and having a personality. Classic AJ attires are out the window but I see them putting out tons of figures of him as much as he changes his attires around.

But he's so bad on the mic while I think Punk is amazing on the mic. They are both good talents, but both are different.

Best case scenario he takes what would of been Daniel Bryan's current spot on the roster, a great upper mid card guy with an occasional main event match here and there. But he'll never be "the guy," unfortunately.

IMO he will never be as big as Punk was simply because he's terrible on the mic. Punk was gold when he spoke which helped get him over and kept people interested. AND, he backed it up in the ring. Though AJ is amazing in the ring, his inability to cut a intriguing promo will prevent him from reaching Punk levels. In regards to classic attires, I highly doubt it. Remember, TNA does not exist in the WWE universe.
