Daniel Bryan.. Cmon. Great wrestler with ok mic skills and personality. The fans pushed him to the top. Charisma goes a long way. You felt that he was loving every minute of it, so you loved it too, and he grew with the crowd you are right there., . So a wrestler who loves wrestling..

Great post! If A. J. Styles were to have a good run (good booking) and get over, would you purchase an elite from his original days in WWE? We saw that happen with John Cena, and some other guys to a certain extent. since his original days in wwe were the rumble and raw....yes Lmao. Yes.

Do you love your job? Many don't. Some people do things for the money. Some may like the physical element, and find the talking part out of the ir comfort zone and hate it. Watch Breaking ground, and you will see that every week.

since his original days in wwe were the rumble and raw....yes Lmao. Yes. I was referencing when he worked against Hurricane years ago in a WWE match on the show "Metal." That would have been his debut match in WWE. Perhaps those tights and that look for a figure.

Ain't about the money because more than likely the amount of money being paid to stay on the road over 300 days a week isn't worth it. Breaking ground really? The scripted "reality" based show on the network?

I am talking about the possibility of future figures for A.J. Styles. I am under the assumption that people here are smart enough to correlate career success with merchandising possibilities. In other words, the more successful A.J. Styles is in his WWE career, the more Mattel action figures we may have the opportunity to receive. But, if coming into a thread and saying “wrong” or “wrong place to post this” makes you feel good, then have at it bro.

All things equal, yes. He could be as successful - if not more.
Unfortunately - all things are NOT equal.
AJ Styles made his name in TNA as their poster child. And as such, I can't see Vince going with him as much as he did Punk.
Maybe I'm wrong. But I see him more like Y2J coming in. He'll get the big Debut. But then he's going to have to prove himself over time and become a "WWE Guy" before they give him the ball.

Both were/are overrated, but Punk had more going for him because of his mic skills.

But the gruelling nature is probably just not enjoyable as they thought. Once you ate in it, where do you go? I know two professional soccer players who hate football. That includes an England International player earning serious money. He spent a few summers ago partying in Vegas as he faked an injury to NOT playing in the European championship. They are only humans.... The reality is.... You Can see people absolutely melt, practising mic work in front of others. That cant be acted.

But AJ is a professional. He's worked his butt off to get to the wwe after close to 20 years of wrestling. The charisma and wrestling skills are there and even tho he sounds like the worst southern stereotype.. The fans who haven't ever seen him are gonna see the passion he has.

Styles and Punk are about the same age and AJ is just starting in WWE now. He doesn't have the time to be as big as Punk was.
This is probably like a bucket list run for AJ. He'll have a few good years and then probably be done.

AJ Styles in reality will have a good run. Probably not a huge run.
However, he is known to be a good human being who is respectful of others. That seems to go a long way in WWE these days.
If WWE invests in the character, the way they have financially then they can polish him up quite a bit. He'll have great people to help with his promos, matches, look, and everything else.
The one potential roadblock is the 'he isn't a WWE creation' thing that always gets brought up. I don't always buy that.
AJ Styles, in my opinion, has more of 'it' than Punk. As for figures, I find it unlikely or necessary for a flashback.
