I'll answer your question with a question of my own: why is this in the Mattel board?

I'll answer your question with a question of my own: why is this in the Mattel board? If you look carefully, you will see the question: "Why or why not, and does he deserve any classic figures?" Simply put, will A.J. Styles be booked well, possibly leading to a successful WWE career with many figures, or will he be booked as a flash in the pan and then enhancement talent, leaving him with very few figures/options? CM Punk was a smaller guy who had a pretty good run in WWE. That is where the comparison came from. That is why this is on the Mattel board.

CM Punk's mic skills really set him ahead of other. AJ Styles won't be on the same level but can still reach the same level differently if WWE set him properly.

He's too old to have a full run like Punk did. They're starting him off now as an upper-mid card name to take full advantage of however many years he can still perform at the level he does (his style definitely ages quicker than someone like Regal's). Hopefully they feature him how he deserves.
In regards to a classic look, it'd be cool to get a recreation of his red TNA figure that came with Samoa Joe. I don't know enough about his indy career to know whether or not he wore that style outside of TNA.
EDIT: Almost forgot...they could honestly do a WCW Flashback of him. Pretty crazy to say that.

No way and no matter how much you want to defend it this doesn't belong here
he has had 2 matches in wwe since he signed....so he doesn't have a "classic" look

I'm gonna take a lot of shlt for this but from what I've seen, unless they put him in a Bullet Club, Balor Club, something, he'll be lucky to be around the main roster by mid 2017. He appears in the ring to be damn near Kalisto's size and not even as bulky as him. When Jericho makes you look small, that's saying something. He can't talk, so he doesn't have that going for him. I know he's the 'best' wrestler in the world but there are a WHOLE lot of good 'wrestlers' in the WWE but very, very few stars, and beyond these initial pops, I see him down in NXT sooner rather than later.
Definitely no CM Punk

Maybe Rollins, but not Styles, he will have success, but not like CM Punk

Styles were to have a good run (good booking) and get over, would you purchase an elite from his original days in WWE? We saw that happen with John Cena, and some other guys to a certain extent.

The key phrase here is "if booked properly."

And the answer is going to be no, except for people to make customs.

As far as a memorable run, with fan acknowledgement and all of that after he's long gone from WWE, absolutely.
Long run or even a single run with the WWE Championship, not hardly.
He'll have a good few years though, that's for sure and I wish him the best. He deserves it.

The key phrase here is "if booked properly." Totally agreed. You can say this is the case for any number of these guys who haven't made it to the top yet. I look at guys like Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt, etc. and wonder what their possibilities would be (figure wise) if they had the "rocket strapped to them" and went to the top.
