I've just started getting into these figures, and my god the early ones are going for a fortune on ebay.
There are a lot on from China that seem too cheap to be legit, about £15 for supposedly new Darth Maul / Vader / R2D2 etc....
Has anyone taken a punt on one of these? Are they cheap copies, factory seconds, stolen or what? They will be manufactured in China so can see how they could be available cheaper over there.

Bought Force Awakens Chewbacca from an independent toy trader in the Grainger Market. Very happy to find it at £21.99 as it seems to be £30 average on eBay.

I took a punt on it and I love it. I keep my figures Mint on Card, and it looks just as good as a £100+ original. The figure isn't a lot different, I think it's just the face paint that's painted with less detail. |

Forbidden Planet in Glasgow had wave 2 (?) Han, Luke & Stormtrooper for 21:99. Would have snapped them up if I had the money for them  |

Damn! I just bought Luke this morning on eBay!! What does Luke look like? If it's the Orange box set, then I'd imagine this is the Luke he seen.  Otherwise it would be the X-wing Luke (which I doubt as it was the very first wave). |

Got the Imperial Shock Trooper (Battlefront themed box) in Forbidden Planet for £24.99 today. Was hoping to find an original Han like Russell did but there was nothing different there besides that. Still pleased to have it though.

I can't find any on eBay?, but it might just be that I'm not looking properly

Bought Han Solo in the Stormtrooper disguise. Pretty cool figure for what it is.
Anybody else wanting a bit more character variation at this point?
Really wanting to add a Qui-Gon to the collection.

A Qui-Gon would be nice to have, as would more prequel guys like Senator Palpatine, Mace Windu and Padme.General Grievous is my number one want though since I missed out on the Disney Elite one. Maybe even a young Anakin with podracer set would be cool.

Qui-Gon is at the top of my wants followed by Watto (don't ask lol) I just have sentimental feelings for ep1 as it was the first I saw in a cinema screen. I was at London Comic Con on Sunday and saw a Disney Elite Grievous and the vendor was wanting £150 for it?! That is absolutely insane money for something barely released. It must have been limited to about 10 to warrant that price. Is it just me that has noticed that Disney never ever promote the prequels? It's like they have totally disowned them? Because they don't celebrate them at all. They only seem to promote the original trilogy and the Force Awakens. The prequels had some short lived cool characters which never really stood the test of time but I enjoyed them. Shame the prequels have not been covered much in this line. We only really have Jango Fett and ROTS Anakin and Obi Wan. |

I've seen the Disney Grievous on eBay for upwards of £180 which just makes me want to cry. He's my favourite Star Wars character but I'm not paying that much for him. I never even knew Disney were making SW figures until they made a big fuss over the Force Awakens film and put everything right at the entrance to the store. So I missed out on Grievous.
Don't forget Darth Maul in the black series line too. But other than him and a few clone troopers they are lacking.

Picked up Kylo Ren with the starkiller base from FP for £29.99 today. Pretty reasonable price imo.

I've been seeing quite a few BS 6" Captain Phasma about lately... if anyone's still after her, just let me know.
Smyths in Longton had the complete Series 5 in (w/older Han, Jango Fett etc.) - TRU in Hanley had most of them too.

My local Asda had most of Series 5 (Jango Fett etc.) for £17 each. They also had the new 3 3/4" Black Series figures... (I bought Kylo Ren).
