also strongly upped by calorie intake. sitting at only about 180lb @ 6’ so the aim is to get to 195 as I’ve just never been that heavy

I keep saying todays the day I get back in the gym. Today is the day I will wake up at 7am and get in the gym. But somehow every morning I look over at my dog sleeping and I say nope, todays not the day.
But tomorrow...

Problem is staying motivated, I dont have anyone in my life to look good for unfortunately haha Everyone has someone to look good for. Themselves. If you don't like the way you look , the motivation is there for you to look good for yourself, which in turn will help you look good for others.

Right now I’m about 220, which I played college football at. I’m only a year and a half removed from graduation, so two years out of football. Hopefully I can get down to that 205ish mark in 2019.

If you don't like the way you look , the motivation is there for you to look good for yourself, which in turn will help you look good for others. Not even looking good. Just making yourself feel better. If you get in better shape you will feel good.

Problem is staying motivated, I dont have anyone in my life to look good for unfortunately haha Complacency exists even in the realm of committed relationships. I've been married for ten years and I'm just barely above the worst shape of my life. Do it for you. I'm on day two of what feels like my 8,000th attempt at maintaining a healthy intake. I know it's doable - I lost 60lbs in just around 6 months back in 2012 - but man, does the added factors of an hour long commute, a desk job, and a kid really throw a wrench into the curve. Back to the gym Friday (I can only feasibly swing two days a week right now).

Definitely need a detox from fast food. Let myself get too comfortable ordering McDonald’s weekly.
I was on a work out kick for a couple of months just before and into the summer and it felt great. I’d at the very least like to get back to that.

got through shoulders today with no complications, which is awesome as my shoulders can be an issue. I also hit the grocery store at like midnight last night and got my diet on track, so now it’s all about staying consistent and increasing output and intake.

Happy with my current weight. Somewhere around 155 pounds. I don't even hit the gym, must have a really good metabolism.

had a frustrating day today but not letting that get in the way. gave myself a day off for stress and just trying to chill and eat well, regain my composure. tmw is backs and biceps rain or shine.

In the gym yesterday I tried jumping on those box things. I could jump pretty high. Must be because of the 40lbs I've lost.

the dreaded leg day has reared it’s head again...gonna have to trudge through this one. had a large breakfast luckily though so I have no excuse.
my shoulders don’t really cause me pain or issues now that I’ve been regularly focusing on them. very happy with that development.

I've lost 42 pounds since last September. I've been eating alot of protein supplements lately (just for convenience). Shakes, bars and brownies.

I’ve got my diet back on track. which is the biggest key - the better I feel and more energetic I am, the more inclined I am to take exercise head on.
leg day again today. the dreaded one

I'm trying to lose weight so I developed a plan that I increase my mileage on the stationary bike every day. So far my first day back, I rode 3 miles, 2nd day, 4, 3rd day 5 miles. I also am doing 25 situps every day.

I've been ill for a week with a virus. I haven't been able to go gym or eat as healthy as I'd like. I'm going to go back in a few days. I want to try and increase my max bench press.

I have about 500 bucks saved up.
Anyone have a list of healthy food I could buy to freeze/prepare as needed? I dont even care if it's the same thing everyday for months, I just want to streamline this as much as possible.
Any suggestions for a cheap treadmill or stationary bike? Do they produce different results?
(Nevermind, prices are crazy lol. I'll just climb stairs)
Any suggestions for resistance bands? I imagine theyre hella cheaper than weights and take up less space too.
