I don't use any of those services so Idk how they work I say that they should cause there are some old time wrestlers that basically live on the little bit of money they get from royalties annually from wwe Now how you break down who gets paid and how much they make that's a different story Idk how the hell they would figure that out |

Actors in TV shows get money if a show goes to syndication. At least I think they do. |

To answer your first post question about TV, the answer is, yes, actors get paid for every rerun, but it's typically a sliding scale. If the lead actor received $1,000 for the first airing of the episode, they would then receive something like, 40% of pay for the second airing, then 20%, for the third, and so on and so forth down the line. As for Netflix, it's all about the contract. Streaming footage, such as Netflix does have contracts like this, which is why some movies and shows get removed from time to time: these shows don't get enough views for Netflix to pay it's owning company for, so they drop it. If it gets enough requests, they'll pay the fee and put it back in rotation. This, however, is "sports entertainment." So, in my opinion, the better question would be: "Do athletes receive contract bonuses every time the NFL network rebroadcasts a game?" I don't think he can stand on the "future technology" leg, since things like Hulu and Netflix already existed. But that doesn't mean he can't win something for released wrestlers. |

Basically, if they have to fork out royalties to every person that appears, it could make the network much less profitable for them. Which means, the price could go up, or tons of content could come down.
Does current talent even get anything for their back catalogue that is on the network? The ppv bonuses they used to get, how did that work out when the network started?
I'm not sure of the legal end of it, but I hope nothing happens to the network.
