The New Day entrance is good, but it suffers from the same thing that Enzo & Cass's entrance did last year. Canned audio that sounds forced, doesn't match the real inflection/tone, etc. I still don't understand why they can't lift broadcast audio for that stuff.

Was hoping we'd see AJ Styles, but New Day look great. Lillian sounds terrible as usual. They need to completely overhaul everything about the announcers

Well, that would take a little more effort and make sense. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the 2K games but those guys are lazy. Would it? I'm genuinely curious. It seems like taking some audio from a WWE supplied broadcast and mixing it with the in-game audio would be a lot easier than getting Big E into a studio to record canned lines without any emotion. Maybe I'm missing something, it just seems like they make their job harder than it needs to be and wind up with a lesser quality product as a result. |

What's really strange is that there's no room for King Barrett even though he left on good terms like Cody did. Also, Cameron makes the cut since Cactus Jack by himself wouldn't make any sense at all.

I'll wait to pass final judgement when I actually have the game in hand, but based on that screen shot, it looks really fake.

I doubt they are taking Foley out, it wouldn't make sense. He has been under contract for most of the year. Also, once again, if the numbers in the original reveal were correct, I doubt they would have left the ones up after it was speculated and hyped, much less today. Even if the numbers were correct, it could also be the case that they have (a) secret reveal(s) in each of the pictures, as there are definitely clues that could construed into representing stars that weren't announced.
And while they said the 150 count of superstars was an earlier estimate, I doubt up to 20 people were cut from that.

You're totally ignoring the fact that the reveal doesn't include duplicates, WWE 2K16 had a default roster of 133 playable characters, I'm predicting that WWE 2K17 will have 129 unique characters along 12+ duplicates and the day one DLC characters (who are probably on the disc) get that total to about 150. |
