I don't think Texas A& M will be in the top four for long, they only made it in because of schedule that was front loaded with high ranked opponents. Sooner or later, that loss to Alabama will be held against them instead of being held up as "Good show boys, you'll get 'em next time". Either Wash or Ohio will almost certainly pass them by.

I know WMU is a Small conference school. But man nobody talks about them and how they are 9-0. Like They beat every team Except Northwestern pretty good. I don't know man. I think they deserve a little bit more respect

Mississippi state took care of that Good day for me, we beat Tech, who i CANNOT stand because they think they are big stuff and haven't won anything And A&M lost

By all means Washington *should* be the #4 team in the playoff standings when they're released. However, dont be surprised if Ohio State doesnt jump them. Blowing out #10 Nebraska the way they did is quite impressive. Whereas Washington continues to beat teams that are, well, awful.

Yeah, the committee seems to like the old eyeball test which definitely favor Ohio this week and strength of schedule which also favors Ohio. I expect the top 3 to stay the same, Ohio State leapfrogs to 4, and Wash stays right where they are at 5. Its shame the PAC 12 is perceived as being a weaker football conference. That really hurts their teams when it comes to the playoffs.

Washington SHOULD be #4 next Tuesday. Hopefully the committee also sees it that way.

That really hurts their teams when it comes to the playoffs. The Pac 12, unfortunately for Washington, is weak this year. They have 1 quality win which is over Utah. Realistically though Washington needs to just take care of their business. I dont see the playoff committee sticking a non conference champion in the final playoff. Ohio St-Michigan game will eliminate one of the 2 which will lock Washington in should they win out. However, if they do lose a game yet still win the conference, I wouldnt be surprised to see the OSU-Mich loser jump them or possibly an SEC team.

DOWN GOES CLEMSON! HAIL TO PITT! I figured you might have something to say about that game. I'm still shaking my head at why Clemson didn't try a coffin corner punt and at least make Pitt work a little harder to get in field goal range. Assuming a Wash and Mich win tonight, it looks like Ohio State will be in the top four in place of Clemson.

Assuming a Wash and Mich win tonight, it looks like Ohio State will be in the top four in place of Clemson. I would give the slot to Louisville over OSU. Here's how it breaks down to me: Louisville lost to Clemson, who then lost to Pitt. OSU lost to Penn State, who previously lost to Pitt and someone else. Clemson's loss to Pitt is better than OSU's loss to Penn State, because Pitt's losses have been more than Penn State but other than Miami they have all been quality losses who have ALL been teams to either trouble a top team or keep pace in the rankings (see VT). Just my math.

Wow, i'm surprised Clemson lost. And Oakland has couch fires on Forbes. ...Hail to Pitt, but stay classy, Pitt students.

I'm shooting this video from inside the Selection Committee room right now with Clemson and Washington falling, and Michigan falling apart really quick:

So Mich, Clemson, & Wash all went down. That means Alabama and who else in the CFB top 4 this week?

Thanks Michigan. For a 2nd year in a row, you screw us over by losing. Ohio State's about to be #2 but won't make it to their own championship game. Going to be a very interesting close to the season. Just how much will those conference championships matter to the committee?
