What are some of the best figures we saw protos of but didn't get? I feel like I've seen them all but I continue to be proved wrong

I personally wanted the Back Alley Street Fight Stephanie McMahon. It was a fantastic looking figure. As a kid, I searched everywhere for her! It wasn't until years later that I found it was unproduced. Screw Jakks for always doing that!
Another I wanted was the Linda McMahon featured on the back of one of those grapple gear packs. I think they had her featured with a wheelchair (from the WM x7 storyline). I was so stoked for that. Then we were promised a Linda once again as an online exclusive. Then again rumored for CS line.
I'll also have to say that Sensational Sherri proto with Shawn Michaels. I do believe it was supposed to be in a 3 pack with Tito Santana. I literally had forgotten about this until last year. I had quit collecting for a bit when Jakks ended and Mattel began. Maybe a year or so. Basically I knew what was supposed to come out but didn't bother to collect them. I figured that Sherri had been made lol. It was easily one of the best CS figures.
Last, basically every TNA Impact figure shown. Jesse Neal, Shannon Moore, MMA Jarrett, Camo Kurt Angle, Anderson as Sting, Tara...they had tons of amazing figures shown in protos but never followed through. I firmly believe we'd still have TNA figures if they had released these and in a timely manner. Jakks was so behind with the ones they did release. It's sad that their best figures went unreleased.

I saw a few photos of a Blackjack Mulligan that looked awesome. Shame they never released it.

Mulligan, Arnold Skaaland, Pat Patterson ( I think....i know he was slated for the CS line and i THOUGHT he had a proto shown late into it) and Bam Bam Bigelow with the blue flames were shown for the CS era. I'm surprised Mattel hasn't done a blue flamed Bigelow yet. Also, during the CS run, i remember protos for The Sandman were drastically different than the version we got. He was in his red/whit/blue style baggy pants and a T shirt which i do not remember the color of. The few Jakks Sandman figures we got were all in his general black shirt ,black pants colors.

While I never planned on getting Pat Patterson, like how could you NOT release him? They made Ernie Ladd, Andy Kaufman, Jack and Gerry, Luna, Harvey Whippleman, Abe Schwartz for Pete sake!!! How could you make all those but not Pat Patterson.
Anyone remember that CS "survey" Jakks set up at one point? It had at least a hundred names. You checked off if you'd buy them or not. I remember seeing Slick and Cyndi Lauper on there. Lots of great names that never got a chance.
Still no Patterson though. Oh btw Arnold Skaaland? Who the heck would have bought him anyway lol.

I remember a TTL Shawn Stasiak, Adrenaline Manu, TTL British Bulldog with jeans, TTL Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn with black trunks, RTC Val Venis, TTL Jeff Jarrett, Dave Hebner, CS Sandman.. I believe a Haku was planned during his run from 2001-2002. I believed it was supposed to be in the Finishing Moves line. Can anyone confirm that? I have a folder of unreleased figure pictures on my old laptop. I can name off more later.

Looking back at all the canceled/unreleased/proto figures, 2000-2007 sucked. There were tons of figures we should have gotten. There is no reason why we shouldn't have had a TTL Taka and Funaki. An RA Jazz and Jacqueline. TTL DLo Brown and Godfather. There was just too many missed opportunities by Jakks. Mattel would have had one of each person on roster lol. Thank god we have a company who pretty much releases every person on roster before they leave. There are only a few occasions I can recall Mattel dropping the ball early on.
Btw I'll never get over Linda McMahon. I'm really hoping Mattel can get it done and by the end of 2017. Cmon there is no reason why we should only have 3 McMahons. Cmon Linda! Work with them!

I remember seeing the proto for Sandman in the classic superstars line and thinking for weeks that it had been released. I was searching for it everday on Ebay until I found out it was just a prototype.

Pat Patterson ( I think....i know he was slated for the CS line and i THOUGHT he had a proto shown late into it) No Patterson proto was ever shown I believe a Haku was planned during his run from 2001-2002. I believed it was supposed to be in the Finishing Moves line. Stunt Action Superstars -- FYI, little known fact, a prototype pic of the cancelled CS Linda McMahon is floating around. It was accidently uploaded and was only shared privately around a few of us WF veterans. It was never posted or discussed publically on WF. Also a favorite unreleased figure of mine that hasn't been mentioned is TTL Realscan Gangrel.

She wasn't a CS figure, she was an exclusive for a different website that sold figures, which is why it was never talked about. Only she was canceled at the last minute and replaced with Kane instead. Him and Goldberg were released as 'Raw Metal' exclusives.
