Not me, I love Stipe, and right now he's being labeled the underdog and is at -160/+130 odds. Plus there's another title on the line with D.C. and last time there were multiple title defenses, they all changed hands in spectacular fashion. I will agree that i believe it's too soon for this fight to happen now that i thought about it. And hey, for me Stipe is not only defending the UFC Heavyweight Title, hes defending Cleveland, so theres no way I'm rooting against Stipe. The thing im thinking is Dana wants to push Ngannou to the moon, Ngannous just fought, and we dont know how much Stipe has been training since his contract negotiations, so imo Dana put this fight this soon to sorta make sure Stipe has no chance of winning, if he hasn't trained hard all this time. Stipe doesnt seem like a fool. No way he signed off if he isnt gonna be ready.

What a TERRIBLE FIGHT to open the show. That coward crapof dancing around needs to be taken out of the sport. The moron literally ran away the whole fight and STILL GOT KNOCKED THE OUT. Get the **** boys out of the ufc. The guy is 6-4 now and got KOd by the first strike that landed. Fire that punk. Glad he got obliterated. *only calling him that guy because a **** like that doesnt deserve to be called by name*

That spinning backfist by Ponzinibbio was insane! Looked like a clip from the EA games!

Never been a mike perry fan. He has power and a good chin, but he is nothing but a mcgregor wannabe. Glad he took the L tonight.
Couldnt believe perry seemed to think he won that fight. He got handled.

Ricardo lamas. Another overhyped, overrated chump. This has been a really good night for me.
Number 3 guy fighting an unranked guy. What a joke. Someone should tell him, whenever he wakes up.

WOW! Joah Emmet with a MAJOR upset victory on short notice no less, against Ricardo Lamas! Knocked him out with one of the cleanest left hooks I've seen in a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Holly Holm get the upset win over Cyborg tonight...

Let's hope Khabib & Barboza have a match that's going to be more eventful than this card so far.
Edit: Thanks Khabib!

FS1 is showing UFC Ultimate Knockouts all day. Lots of good stuff, love the throwback ones too.

Jimi Maniwa and Jan Blachowicz gonna rematch at UFC London? I’m down with that! Hope you guys are well. Had a pretty insane 2017 but hopefully I can be more active here again. Thx

I'm not surprised Cyborg beat Holly Holm by decision, Unless Amanda Nunes moves up or another monster woman not named Gabi Garcia comes in nobody will stand a chance against her.

Just heard/read Dana say Amanda wants Cyborg and that's probably the next fight to make. If Megan Anderson wins her upcoming fight I'd like to see the earlier fight with her and Cyborg happen.

"Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov a go for UFC 223, Dana White says" mmajunkie.com/2018/01/tony-ferguson-khabib-nurmagomedov-ufc-223-brooklyn-dana-white-says"As MMAjunkie reported this past weekend, White said following UFC Fight Night 124 that the organization was “working on” booking the fight – and that primary lightweight titleholder Conor McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) would be stripped of his belt as a result. Ferguson and Nurmagomedov are now expected to fight for that undisputed title." I am just turgid.

I'm in two minds about whether to strip Conor and make Khabib/Ferguson for the full title... if Conor/the UFC aren't sure he'll ever fight again, then taking the the title off him is the right move. If he's definitely coming back though and just needs more time, then you may as well keep the belt on him... Conor Vs Khabib/Ferguson would be the next title fight anyway.

I have an idea I wish I could have implemented in that you have up to 1 calendar year to defend the title. Right now Conor is at 430+ days since he won from Alvarez without a defense and it looks like he won't be fighting in the next few months, so he'll easily be over 500 days without a defense. It's just too much. And I get too that he did fight Mayweather last year, but to me, late 2016 and all of 2017 has really changed Conor and I was a huge fan of his and now I'm really over his personality, love to still see him fight though, just without all the ego stuff.
