MAX HOLLOWAY RETAINS!!!!!! I didn't think he had a chance. The Max I've been seeing didn't hit hard, he just hit often. And he didn't ever get hit. Max threw some shots tonight. And to a lesser extent, maybe just lesser frequency, he took some shots. That's the guy I've been waiting on. Good show tonight. Titles fights didn't go how I wanted, but at least they were decent (women) and great (men) fights.

Oscar De LA Hoya calling out Dana White on fighter pay on ESPN 2 days in a row. Really interested to see where this goes.
You already have top 5 to 10 guys going to bellator and now ONE for more money.
Bader, Gegard, Phil Davis, Alvarez, Larkin.
Add to that guys who have been around like Mitrione, Nelson, Sonnen.
Add to it the uncertainty of McGregors future, the loss of the top female stars that established the division (Rousey, Tate), Cormier saying he is retiring, Jones can't get himself right.
If they don't pay, this could get ugly in another 2 to 3 years.

Oscar De la Hoya will definitely not be competition for Dana. Personally to me, ONE has a bigger chance of replacing UFC as the number 1 MMA promotion in the world. Im excited to see the promotion on the Turner stations. Bellator has an upside, but ive always seen them as the TNA/Impact Wrestling of MMA.

It wouldn't even be hard if it was someone that had the money to compete. Bellator won't be until people forget the gimmick fights like kimbo vs dada.

Frank Mir tapped to strikes last night. On the feet. I've never been so confused.

Kevin Lee did not look good tonight. Looks like Al just has his number, like Rose and Joanna. The better guy doesn't always win or it would be little point in watching.

Oh yeah someone can be competition for UFC or overtake them as the top MMA promotion. MMA is not like wrestling where interest is drastically waning where no promotion not named WWE will be on top. Its just not gonna be Oscar de la Hoya.

The fight can be moved to Pandora. As long as Jones is there, it's money.

''Jon Jones will never headline a card again'' - Dana White, 2016.
''We're going to move an entire PPV to a different state on six days notice so Jon can headline this card'' - Dana White, 2018.
Seriously though, it sucks for the fighters and fans, but what can they do? I mean, there is something they could do, but they'll never do it
Oh and BTW, they could just uncancel UFC 233 and move Jones vs Gustafsson to that card as the main event

they’re trying to suggest the metabolites in question are simply residual. I wonder if there’s truth to that.

they’re trying to suggest the metabolites in question are simply residual. I wonder if there’s truth to that. This whole situation is bizarre... some of the reports/opinions say it wouldn't still be in his system after nearly 18 months and he must be microdosing (...not even sure what that means). Whatever though, he has had to enroll in the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) drug testing program, as the California State Athletic Commission required the extra testing in order to approve the fight. So finger's crossed he is clean and the fight goes ahead. I have my doubts though... there's just too much smoke.

Can't believe we made it to fight night and nothing got canned!
I'll take Volkanovski or whatever the hell his name is over Mendes.
Latifi over Anderson
Condit over Chiesa
Head says Cyborg. Heart says Nunes. I'm listening to my heart tonight. New women's GOAT born tonight.
I'll take Jon Jones until his in cage performance tells me I shouldn't do so any longer.
