Paul Orndorff walks in with the Real American theme and mimicks Hogan as Hogan looks angry watching on the outside. Paul points his fingers and laughs at Hogan. He displays the World title belt as Steele attacks him from behind. He lands punches and chops and whips him to an exposed turnbuckle. Heenan starts calling out the ref who didn't notice Steele was "eating" the turnbuckle when he came in. Steele lands his jumping splash finisher, but the referee is trying to get a new turnbuckle pad up. Hogan starts shouting at the ref. Paul kicks out at two. Steele gets him up and starts to bite his forehead as the crowd cheers. The ref tries to stop him as Steele starts to bite Orndorff's arm. Paul reverses it and tosses Steele on the outside. Hogan tries to help, but Paul goes to follow Steele. Hogan points his finger at Paul and starts to chase him. Mr. Wonderful runs around and gets in the ring. As Hogan starts to get in Paul starts landing kicks and the referee helps him by getting Hulk out. From behind Steele is in the ring and hits a suplex slam and goes for the crossface chickenwing finisher. Paul struggles on his feet and manages to smash Steele's back into the still exposed turnbuckle (the pad wasn't placed on in time), giving him the opportunity to lift him for the piledriver finish. Winner: Mr. Wonderful via pinfall to retain the WWF World Heavyweight ChampionshipThe Real American music is on and Hogan rushes in to get his hands on Paul, but he gets out in time with Heenan as they laugh. Paul gets his World title back and leaves. Hogan shakes his head and talks trash, pointing his finger at Paul how makes it to the back.

Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/Elizabeth) (c) def. George "the Animal" Steele via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship AND Managerial services of Elizabeth.Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat def. Jake "the Snake" Roberts in a Snake Pit match._____________________________________________________ Davey Boy Smith vs. The Dynamite Kid in Singles competitionCapt. Lou Albano walks out first to be in the corner of both British Bulldogs. Davey and Kid are in a fast-paced match, till Davey goes for the powerslam finisher and Kid manages to counter by landing on his feet behind Davey, pushing him to the turnbuckle and the roll up for the pin and win. Winner: The Dynamite Kid via pinfall
After the match Albano tries to talk some sense into the Kid to bring the Bulldogs back together, but the Kid continues to say he's the best. Albano punches him out as Kid rolls out and runs off with the huge amount of security and police there (the overcrowding makes it a lot more difficult). _____________________________________________________ Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff (w/Heenan) (c) vs. Hulk Hogan for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship
The Real American music is on and out comes Paul Orndorff with Bobby Heenan to a POP. During the event fans continued cheering "Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!" almost akin to the 2010s chants in WWE. The fans are cheering him (as most originally did anyway) as Mr. Wonderful is a Toronto favorite. Hulk Hogan comes out to much security and he's actually being BOOED (cheered by kids) despite being the big baby face. Hogan rips his shirt as Mr. Wonderful gets the ringbell and brings it to the ring. Hogan doesn't notice as he's posing to the fans and Mr. Wonderful strikes Hogan's back with the ringbell. The referee tries to stop him and the match doesn't even start because Paul has the bell. Paul places it in the middle of the ring and tries to piledrive Hogan on it. Hogan however manages to counter and drop Paul. Paul gets up fast as the referee removes the ringbell and hits a dropkick to Hogan as Hogan falls on the mat. Paul hits an elbow drop and lifts Hogan for the piledriver and lands it for the pin. The referee however is on the outside trying to get the ringbell setup. The crowd chants the pin to three as Heenan calls for the referee. Paul lands punches to Hogan, but Hogan gets angry and lifts him up high with a chokehold and drops him. Hogan hits the ropes and lands a clothesline as the bell finally rings. The referee is in as Hogan lands a legdrop and goes for the pin to three. However Paul had his right foot on the outside when he was knocked out from the clothesline. The referee rings the bell and Bobby Heenan goes nuts on the referee as a "WWF Official" starts to support Heenan and talks with the referee and even the fans are shouting. Hogan is arguing with Heenan and punches him out. Mr. Wonderful gets back up and Hogan lifts him for a piledriver as humiliation to Paul and lands it in the middle of the ring. The referee now tries to stop Hogan, but isn't able too. Hogan shoves the referee on the outside of the ring as Paul is finally up and he sweeps Hogan's legs and starts to punch him. Hogan counters and lands punches on the mat, it's an all out brawl. The bell rings again and the same WWF Official talks to the announcer who announces that the match ends in a No Contest and therefore Mr. Wonderful RETAINS the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship. Winner: No Contest
Mr. Wonderful starts to celebrate in the ring. Heenan gets the title belt and hands it over to Paul as if they won the match. The fans are cheering for him as Hogan gets really angry and starts to punch both Heenan and Paul out. Both men manage to run away as Hogan poses in the ring for the fans.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling (DEBUT SHOW) September 6th, 1986 Commentators: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" Ventura Special Analyst: Bruno Sammartino
Official Statement from WWF President Jack Tunney regarding the World title match at The Big Event: In an unprecedented, record breaking attendance for a World Wrestling Federation event, 65,000 spectators attended to watch some of the greatest matches in WWF history. However the main event which could've been one of the all time greats...ended in a No Contest. After speaking to WWF Officials regarding the World title match, we have come to realize the difficulty in officiating such a high-caliber main event, which will require more than a Singles Championship match. This means we will allow Mr. Hulk Hogan to continue challenging for the World title, but for their next major confrontation it will be under a Steel Cage so that World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff and Hulk Hogan will have no choice but to have a fair match with a fair result. More details will be announced for this upcoming match in the near future. Thank you. Segments:The Flowershop: Roddy Piper comes out with a steel pipe and makes a mockery of Adonis. Piper announces that Piper's Pit will b e making a return and that the Flowershop will end. Adonis goes nuts and knocks down tables from his shop. Mean Gene talks about Miss Elizabeth on the front cover of WWF Magazine. Superstar Billy Graham is making a WWF return and vignette is shown. Matches: Ricky Steamboat & Sivi Afi def. jobbers via pinfall
The Hart Foundation (w/Jimmy Hart) def. Koko B. Ware and Paul Roman via pinfall
Hillbilly Jim & Cousin Luke def. jobbers via pinfall
Kamala def. Tommy Sharpe via pinfall
The Fabulous Rougeaus def. jobbers via pinfall
Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy def. Cpt. Kirchnet & SD Jones via pinfallPromos: The Machines with Lou Albano and the Hulk Machine Lou Albano talks about the Machines and how great they are and they try to speak with a Japanese accent and Albano laughs at the idea that the Giant Machine could be Andre and says it's ridiculous. Suddenly the "Hulk Machine" appears with a "Hulkamania" t-shirt and says he's a fan of the WWF and especially Hulk Hogan and will be making his "debut" and uses the word "brother" to go up against the triple tag team of Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy and the Magnificent Muraco in an upcoming show.

Saturday Night's Main Event October 4th, 1986 (Sept.13 taping) Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" VenturaNote: The rest of September was slow with no major televised matches for the World title or with Hulk Hogan, and since this was a Sept. 13 taping and with the World title finish, I decided to go ahead with SNME to continue forward. This SNME comes the highest rated NBC show to date. Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/Elizabeth) (c) def. Jake "the Snake" Roberts via Countout to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Jake Roberts tried to hit a DDT on the outside on Randy, but Randy managed to push Jake to the ringpost for the countout. Note: The match was supposed to push Randy as a face which was one of Vince's original plans to begin with when they actually feuded in '86 but it backfired as Jake was getting cheered on and Randy wouldn't turn face till late 87. Here it backfires again in this timeline as Jake is over with the fans. Davey Boy Smith (w/Lou Albano) def. Dynamite Kid via pinfall. Davey Boy lands a powerslam and pin to three, but Kid did actually have his foot on the ropes during the pin. Kid in a post-match interview blames Lou Albano who he knew saw his foot on the ropes and didn't do anything about it. He says there will never be the British Bulldogs tag team ever again and Albano has failed. __________________________________________________________ Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff (w/Heenan) (c) vs. Hulk Hogan in a Steel Cage match for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship Paul Orndorff with the Real American music gets in first as Jesse mentions that "shouldn't the Champion come out last?" and Vince agrees that traditionally that is so but Paul did steal Hogan's music so maybe it's fair. Hogan makes his way out to a big pop and gets on the offensive right away as the cage door closes. Hogan whips him to the corner for a clothesline. Hogan lands a piledriver to humiliate Orndorff and starts to climb. Heenan goes nuts on the outside, but Paul manages to quickly climb to get Hogan, but Hogan kicks Orndorff who lands on the mat. Hogan gets down and lifts Orndorff for an atomic drop and head smash on the turnbuckle five times. Hogan points towards the cage as he grabs Paul's head, but Paul counters and smashes' Hulk's head to the cage. Paul smashes Hogan's forehead to the cage again and lands a devestating clothesline. Paul starts the climb, but Hogan follows him up. Paul kicks Hogan but Hogan climbs to meet him. Paul manages to smash Hogan's head to the cage twice. He starts to scrape Hogan's head till Hogan falls. Heenan shouts for Paul to climb over, but he doesn't listen. He gets back down to land punches and Hogan is now bleeding. Paul gets to the second rope and lands a knee drop. He lifts Hogan and goes for a piledriver only for Hogan to counter it and drops him. Hogan hits the ropes and lands three elbow drops. Hogan starts to Hulk up and lifts Paul and slams him into the cage. He starts to land kicks and even starts to choke out Orndorff with the ropes. The referee tries to stop Hulk, but Hogan lifts Paul for a suplex over the ropes, but Paul counters for a drop kick to Hogan's back. Paul hits the ropes and tries for a flying clothesline only for Hogan to counter and Paul hits his head on the cage. Hogan asks for the cage door to open, but Heenan distracts the referee on the outside. The referee on the inside starts to shout and the outside ref finally opens it but Paul manages to get on his feet and lands punches on Hogan, but Hogan counters landing punches back and forth. Hogan lands a clothesline twice and hits two elbow drops. Hogan whips Paul to a corner and once again to another corner for a clothesline. Hogan lands a scoopslam and hits the ropes for the legdrop. Hogan signals for the top and starts the climb. Paul starts to roll and crawl to make his climb. Hogan is still bleeding so he's slow for the climb. Both men climb over and both men reach the ground. The bell rings, but the inside ref sees Hogan and declares him the winner. The ref on the outside sees Orndorff and declares him winner. The referees and WWF Officials are now starting to talk as Heenan hands over the World title belt to Orndorff. After an argument with both referees, the announcer makes an announcement though one WWF Official says no don't: "And the winner of the match, a NEW World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, Hulk Hogan!"Winner: Hulk Hogan via out of cage and NEW WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hogan celebrates in the ring and poses for the fans with the WWF World title belt around his waist. __________________________________________________________ Post-match with Orndorff and Heenan: Heenan: This is a steal! A steal! Clearly Orndorrf had his foot on the outside first! I can't believe this! Paul: I was robbed! I made it over before Hogan did! I did the referees screwed us over (starts to throw things around the locker room) Heenan: You are the champion I will protest I will protest appeal I will do whatever it takes to prove it that you were the first one out! I will get the cameras and footage don't worry...don't worry that's why I'm here! We will get that title back! Hogan is not the Champion! He's not! Paul: I hate him! I hate everything about Hogan! Heenan: I promise we'll get you your title back! I'll bring it straight to Jack Tunney I swear it! Just trust me! __________________________________________________________ Kamala (w/Wizard & Kim Chee) def. Leaping Lanny Poffo via pinfall
The Islanders (c) def. Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy via DQ for the WWF Tag Team Championships. Heenan did not make it for the match as Vince mentions he's already talking to WWF Officials about the Steel Cage match finish.

WWF Tuesday Night Titans October 7th, 1986 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Mean Gene Okerlund Note: September 24th was the last episode, however in this timeline the show continues.Special Guest: Hulk Hogan. Vince: Hulk, Last night WWF Officials had an important meeting and an official statement will be released later tonight by WWF President Jack Tunney only on TNT. Hogan: Brother I just hope that Tunney made the right choice man I was the one who dropped first and the referee made the decision. I am the champion I don't know what the weasel thinks happened man... Vince: Well let's take a look at some classic matches Hulk, and we want to know your opinion. Old Matches are shown on the episode with Hulk praising some and talking about guys like Jake "the Snake" who seems like "one scary dude". After a commercial break.Vince: Well folks Jack Tunney is standing by with a statement: Official statement from WWF President Jack Tunney regarding SNME and the World title: "It has come to my attention that at Satuday Night's Main Event on October 4th, two matches ended in a controversial manner. The first is between Davey Boy Smith and the Dynamite Kid. According to the footage shown to me, Kid clearly had his foot on the ropes, however since a referee's decision is considered final in this regard, the history books will record Davey Boy Smith as the winner of that match.
As for the World Heavyweight title we have heard the appeal of Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff and evaluated the World Championship Steel Cage match in full detail when both competitors did indeed leave the cage at the same time. Since both referees awarded two winners and the announcement of Hulk Hogan's victory was in fact premature...After careful review of the footage in question and discussing with WWF Officials, we have declared that the match was actually a Draw. Since titles cannot change hands with a Draw, we must therefore request Mr. Hulk Hogan to return the WWF World Heavyweight Championship belt to WWF Officials so it can be returned back to Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, who remains the current World Heavyweight Champion. Thank you." Vince: (the fans boo in the audience and Hulk is shaking his head in disappointment) I can't believe what has just transpired here. Gene: Hulk Hogan I can only imagine what you're going through. Hogan: You know it's okay man...it's okay that it ended in a Draw...I don't know what else to say brother because time and time again Bobby Heenan gets his way man...(gets angry) If that's what you want brother if that's what the WWF wants man? Is this what they want? Fine brother I relinquish this World title belt to the WWF and they can have it because I want nothing to do with it brother. I'm going my own way and all my Hulkamaniacs will understand. Hogan grabs the belt, shakes his head and tosses it on Vince's table. Vince: Now now come on Hulk... Hogan: As far as I'm concerned this title is tainted, tainted with betrayal and blood and one day it'll be cleansed because I know someone who deserves this title man deserves this belt more than anyone else in the world, it's time brother (Hogan leaves) Vince: Wait wait...who is he talking about? Gene: I have no idea but I think it's time we investigate.

Heenan: Who says theirs anything between us? Jesse: What about his reinstatement and now his World Championship victory. Bobby Heenan you were largely responsible for making sure that Andre got suspended and for months you were trying to unmask the Giant Machine and you were right it was Andre. But let's be honest here, something just doesn't smell right with Andre's reinstatement. I heard a rumour that you were involved in the meeting with WWF Officials when he was reinstated. Is that true? Heenan: Of course I was there they asked me for my opinion and I gave it. Jesse: What was your opinion on it? Heenan: Does it matter because it's not anyone's business. Jesse: Of course it matters the fans at home want to know...I got to know! Heenan: I was okay with it...that's all that matters. Jesse: What! After all the years after all Andre has done to you and the Heenan family... Heenan: Look the guy's 7 foot 4, over 500 lbs he's a giant of a man why shouldn't he be competing in the World Wrestling Federation? Jesse: What the...fine fair enough but let's be honest what happened at the Wrestling Classic, you got to tell the world what you did... Heenan: I did nothing, doesn't concern you or anyone. Jesse: Are you kidding me? You took a steel chair and smashed it over Mr. Wonderful's head, threw him in the ring like he was dirt and let Andre win the World Championship I want to know why? Heenan: None of your business... Jesse: I will get to the bottom of this!

Jesse: I want to know...I want to know how you got reinstated yes because the fans want to first look at the root of all of this... Andre: All of what? Jesse: You know you and Heenan. Andre: There is no me and Heenan. Jesse: Well how were you reinstated? Andre: They brought me in to their office and told me I could come back that's it. Jesse: So is it true that it was Hulk Hogan who got you reinstated? Andre: If you say so... Jesse: Now I know that Bobby Heenan was there but how you won the World title, how you won is unorthodox for you big man. Because I know you saw Bobby Heenan smash the chair over Mr. Wonderful's head and you didn't seem to mind you pinned the man and won the World title that way. Andre: Sometimes you have to do whatever it takes to win, that's how it is. Jesse: What? Wow...I don't know what to say because...
