WWF Superstars of Wrestling December 20th, 1986 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" VenturaMatches:The Islanders (w/Heenan) def. Mr. Wonderful & Bob Orton Jr via DQ
Kamala (w/The Wizard) def. jobber via pinfall
Honky Tonk Man (w/Jimmy Hart) def. jobber via pinfall
King Kong Bundy def. jobber via pinfall
Butch Reed def. jobber via pinfallThe Snake Pit: Hulk Hogan as guestJake: I would like to bring out my next guest who is in my book one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, perhaps the greatest of all time...I'm talking about Hulk Hogan! Hogan: (walks out) Well you know something Jake the Snake, Roddy Piper and I have been working overtime, going after Mr. Wonderful and Cowboy Bob Orton, hitting the gym day in and day out, making it work and I can't wait for our tag team match on January 3rd for Saturday Night's Main Event brother. Jake: That is going to be one heck of a match no doubt, but I got to ask you, Hulk Hogan let's be honest here for a moment. I'm sure most people are still trying to get used to the idea of you not being the World Champion... Hogan: I said it before man, and I'll say it again, Andre the Giant is the only greatest of all time, he is the biggest and best out there and deserves to be the World champion. For as long as he is champion brother, I will have his back always. Jake: That's great, but what about Andre's strange reinstatement, how it all went down. Hogan: O I heard all about it, so what if Andre the Giant wasn't at his own hearing man, it doesn't really matter because Andre deserves to be back and deserves to be the Champion of the World. Jake: I know this is going to be a strange question...really strange but would you ever challenge Andre the Giant for the World title? Hogan: Brother I'm just glad Andre is the champion. Jake: That doesn't answer my question. Hogan: Of course it does because Andre is my hero, he is the reason I'm in professional wrestling man and I said it before the World title needs to be cleansed, there has been too much betrayal and blood that went along with it and only Andre can make it clean again man. Jake: Okay fine but how Andre won the World title, don't you think that was strange how he let it happen? How he let Bobby Heenan smash a chair over Mr. Wonderful, how Andre.... Hogan: You're trying to find a needle in a haystack man, there is nothing there brother. And as far as Mr. Wonderful is concerned, I'm sure he's heard of karma and paybacks is a...you get the picture. Jake: I certainly do...Hulk you also got a big match coming up at Madison Square Gardens, when you face the Ugandan giant Kamala. Hogan: I say bring them all on man because Hulkamania will live on, Hulkamania will live forever and I will slam that Kamala and send him back to the jungles of Uganda.

WWF Tuesday Night Titans January 6th, 1987 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Gene Okerland Special Guest: Bobby "the Brain" HeenanOfficial Statement from Jack Tunney regarding Ricky Steamboat's condition It has come to my attention that on Saturday Night's Main Event, the newly crowned WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion (as it was called back then), Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat was viciously attacked by Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Ricky suffered a minor injury over his larynx and is currently in rehabilitation. Although WWF regulations require a WWF Superstar to continue to defend a title on a schedule, Ricky Steamboat's doctors have assured us that he will be recieving the best treatment and a quicker recovery than expected. The World Wrestling Federation will provide support for Ricky's rehabilitation so that he may be ready to return to action as soon as possible. If Ricky is unable to heal in time, the Intercontinental Championship will be declared vacant. We wish the champion a healthy and timely recovery, thank you. Heenan: Are you kidding me Jack Tunney, you mean to tell me that after suffering an injury like that that a guy like Ricky Steamboat gets to keep the Intercontinental title going forward? It should be vacated right now! Because I know several guys who would want a shot...it's unfair really. Vince: Well we wish Ricky Steamboat a quick recovery, but let's put all of that aside now because Bobby "the Brain" Heenan I'm sure you've been contacted several times by Jesse Ventura over your involvement in reinstating Andre the Giant. Heenan: This again? You know what let me end this once and for all I'm not the bad guy as some of you thinks I am. I do actually care about professional wrestling and Andre the Giant is the best of them all, the biggest, a real giant so I was at the hearing and I told Jack Tunney that he deserves to be back. That's all and that is all there is to it. Vince: Well what about Andre's changing attitude I mean if you look... Heenan: Or do you mean Hulk Hogan's changing attitude towards Andre the Giant. Hogan knows that Andre is the World Champion, he knows for a fact that he can never win the World title again for as long as the Giant holds on to it and that'll be for a long time. So Hogan is the one with the attitude problem. Vince: Well let's take you back at the Boston Garden after a match between Hulk Hogan and Kamala... The ending of the match is shown and Hogan got the countout victory over Kamala. Andre had Hogan's corner during the match and entered the ring with his World title belt. Hogan is celebrating and posing, not even looking at Andre as Andre stares at Hogan. Andre accidentally drops the World title belt and Hogan grabs it quickly. Andre looks angry and shouts "give that back to me". Hogan gives the belt back as Andre leaves the ring. Heenan: Did you see how quickly Hogan...heck he didn't even notice Andre was there and see how quickly Hogan grabbed a hold of that World title belt. He wants it back he wants it more than anything in the world. Vince: Hulk Hogan has told us on numerous occasions that he's happy for Andre... Heenan: You don't get it do you? Hogan is a liar he wants the World title he wants it badly and he'll turn on Andre soon just watch because he can't stand it.

Hogan and Kamala are at it in the ring. Kamala gets the upperhand early on in the match landing punches and chops and smashing Hogan into the cage. Hogan manages to clothesline Kamala and bodyslam him for the climb. Kamala drops Hogan and starts beating on Hogan. Later in the match Danny Davis decides to leave the cage door open trying to act as though it's still closed. This gives the Wizard and Kimchee a chance to enter and attack Hogan. The door is wide open, but Hogan manages to clothesline them both from the ropes and bodyslam Kamala again and go for the door. Davis locks the door not noticing Hogan is trying to get out of it. Hogan makes for the climb instead and Kimchee tries to stop Hogan, but Hogan kicks all three to the mat and makes it over. Winner: Hulk Hogan via over the cage.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling February 7th, 1987 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" VenturaPiper's Pit Segment:Piper: O my where do we begin here tonight first of all I would like to bring out Jesse "the Body" Ventura, I'm calling him out (Jesse walks out) because I want to settle what this whole thing is all about I want it settled and I want to get it over with it. Jesse: Alright I agree with you so why don't we bring out your man. Piper: Ladies and gentlemen the one and only Hulk Hogan! Hogan: (walks out) Alright Jesse Ventura what do you want? Jesse: Are you sure you want to know? (laughs) Suddenly Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan walk out together and Hulk Hogan is in utter shock.
Hogan: What is this, hey man you (Heenan) have no business out here. Heenan: I have every business to be out here because the World Heavyweight Champion, Andre the Giant has brought me out here to be part of this. Hogan: Andre man please no...this can't be happening man what are you doing with him, don't you know what Heenan's done to the both of us all these years? This can't be! Andre: (has the World title belt with him) Let me tell you something Hulk Hogan, I want to ask you myself. Hogan: You can ask me anything you can come to me for anything man! Andre: Do you want this? Hogan: What are you talking about? Heenan: You dimwit, the Heavyweight Champion of the World, Andre the Giant wants to know how much you want that World title belt on his shoulder, how badly do you want it back? Hogan: What are you talking about Andre? When did I ask for it man, I never did! Heenan: He's sick and tired of you Hulk Hogan. For far too long have you've reigned as the face of the WWF, making all the big money and getting bigger trophies and what not. For far too long have you used this man. For fifteen years this man the Champion of the World has been undefeated, fifteen years! He's done it all beaten them all, he's got the championship of the world with him and now...now he wants one more thing, one more challenge one more to solidify his career as eternal. So he wants to know how badly you want this World title back? Hogan: No Andre, no! I don't want the World title, you are more to me than you would ever know! I looked up to you all my life, the only reason I'm here today is because I wanted to be as big and popular as you were, you're my hero you always were man! You were the one who threw champagne on me when I won the World title for the first time, I did the same to you when you won man! Please Andre don't do this man (places hand on Andre's shoulder). Andre: Get your hands off me (Hogan does so as he has his eyes down) Look at me when I talk to you (Hulk looks at Andre)...I have come out here for one reason only, and that is to challenge you at the Wrestlemania (Jesse goes nuts). Hogan: Andre no man no! I don't want too! Please we don't have to do this! We're friends man best friends! Heenan: Looks like you won't have a choice! Andre strips Hulk's shirt and breaks Hogan's chain cross and tosses it to the floor. Hulk is bleeding on his chest and Hogan kneels on the floor trying to grab a hold of his chain. Andre and Heenan leave.Piper: You're bleeding Hulk...you're bleeding. Hogan: What...what is this man....(saddened Hogan leaves) Piper: I'm lost at words. Later in the show Craig de George is backstage:
Craig: There has been a lot of talk in the back about the challenge made by World Heavyweight Champion Andre the Giant, who wants to put the title up for grabs at Wrestlemania III against Hulk Hogan. I'm back here trying to get some answers...(Mean Gene is running) Please Gene if I could have a word... Gene: It's pandemonium back here... Craig: How is Hulk Hogan? Gene: He's hurt...emotionally broken I think after all that's been done to Hogan after all the betrayals, I don't think he has the heart right now (leaves). Craig: Hopefully we'll get more soon.

Roddy Piper segment with Hulk Hogan:Roddy: What a wild couple of weeks ah I know I know what you're all thinking ever since Jesse Ventura was trying to figure out what was going on with Andre's reinstatement and World title win, it's been one crazy story after another and last week was the icing on the cake the World Heavyweight Champion Andre the Giant issued out a challenge to Hulk Hogan, but the way he did it just didn't seem it was like him...like the Andre we all know...and so I was sitting back there with Hulk Hogan and he looks all gloomy with those eyes you know fixated to the ground like something terrible had happened like a great tragedy...and to Hogan it was and I thought what is going on in his mind someone's got to know but the only one who really knows there is only one man who knows and I want to bring him out Hulk Hogan come on out (Hogan walks in all sad) Hogan: Hey... Roddy: I got to ask Hogan I got to ask how have you been? Hogan: (his head is still down) I don't know... Roddy: Look at me man...look at me when I talk to you man look! Roddy: I want to know how you feel man the world wants to know look at me man! Hogan: (looks at Roddy and gets angry) How I feel? Andre started this war! It was Heenan, it was Heenan who brought back Andre, it was Heenan who got Andre the World title I know we all saw it that match was won, it was Heenan who brainwashed Andre to turn against me man, I never thought....Andre was larger than life, I wanted to be as big as him, sure I couldn't be just as big, but I wanted to be just like him! No one was friendlier, no one was more caring, no one was a better man than Andre, I have never felt like this this was like a god turning against man because he was like a god to me man...and when he broke the crucifix man when he tore my shirt I just didn't get why didn't he just take a stake and stab it in my heart and end it all once and for all? Roddy: Hulk, Andre the Giant wants to put the World title on the line against you at Wrestlemania III, the world wants to know I want to know will you or will you not face Andre at Wrestlemania? Hogan: (shouts to a big pop) Yes!!!!

WWF Prime Time Wrestling February 16th, 1987 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanGorilla: I got to ask Brain, how did you manage to convince Andre the Giant to be your manager? Heenan: Andre saw the light, he saw what was going on. When Hulk Hogan was World Champion for two years not once did Hulk Hogan give him a title shot... Gorilla: O come on Brain he never asked for a title shot and never wanted it. Heenan: Are you kidding me, Andre is the eighth wonder of the world, the greatest of all time, would you say the same to Muhammad Ali? All the greatest atheletes in the world they were defined by their career and the ultimate prize, whether it's a gold medal or World Championship. To say Andre who is fifteen years undefeated never wanted it? You got to be kidding me because the real problem was Andre never had the right man behind him, he didn't have the right direction. Gorilla: So he found you? Heenan: He found me he spoke to me we had a meeting of a lifetime and he wanted to know how he could be reinstated without having to hide behind some mask in Japan. He told me his true desires that he wants to be the World Champion and so I told him I'll show him that I'm genuine that I'll take him to the World title and to better places. Gorilla: So you got him reinstated? Heenan: Of course it was only me, no one else and Jack Tunney agreed to it and let Andre go on. So what did I do I helped him win the World title to show him my dedication that I'm for real. Andre was still hesitant, hesitant to realize that he needed me by his side, he kept thinking about Hulk Hogan but he soon realized that Hogan was a good for nothing selfish loser. Gorilla: O give me a break Hulk Hogan has done nothing but support Andre and be his friend. Heenan: Andre doesn't need friends, he doesn't need arrogant men like Hulk Hogan...and Hulk Hogan is the only one standing in Andre's way, the one man Andre needs to defeat and teach that bonafide loser a lesson. At Wrestlemania III in front of 85,000... Gorilla: They're saying it's going to be around 90,000... Heenan: The more the merrier because when Andre the Giant pins Hulk Hogan, pins him clean or make him submit in front of 90,000 at the Pontiac Silverdome, everyone will see that Hulk Hogan can be beaten at his best and Hulkamania will be just a footnote in the pages of history. Tunney: Alright we should begin Mr. Roussimouff, Andre sign the contract here... Heenan: First of all before we get to it I just wanted to say something to the former champion, Hulk Hogan for two years you were the World Champion, not once did you offer Andre a title shot, you used him for your own gain, you talked behind his back, you laughed at him and as for you Jack Tunney after Andre defeats Hulk Hogan after he proves that Hulkamania was nothing but a fluke, I want you to take this World title belt and make a new one because this current title belt was made for a human being like him (Hogan) and I say that loosely, I want one that could fit a giant. Tunney: Alright we'll get on to it. Hogan: Just sign the damn contract already! (Andre has a grin and signs it) Tunney: Alright Mr. Hogan, sign under his name. Hogan: I've signed a lot of things...signed a lot of contracts...never thought it would come to this...I thought it was you man (Heenan)...but it's both of you you're both sick...if you ever wanted a title shot when I was champion all you had to do was ask I would've given you anything man...Andre you were bigger than the World title to me yah I'll sign it....that'll get your attention at Wrestlemania...when you tore my shirt of man! When you tore the cross you tore the hearts and souls of all the little Hulksters man, not just me...we're going to get your attention man...(signs contract) Andre: Now you sign the contract, you think I taught you everything I know about professional wrestling but I didn't and believe me at Wrestlemania III it'll be your last lesson (starts to speak French) Hogan: Speak to me in English when you talk to me as far as I'm concerned, it's not signed in ink it's signed in blood! Lately I talked to the Weasel I mean Bobby Heenan (laughs), and I thought why should I talk to Heenan when I could talk to Andre the Giant himself and why he's doing this. So I want to bring out only Andre the Giant! Heenan: (Andre walks out with Heenan) You want to talk to Andre you talk to me. Any negotiations anyone who wants to challenge Andre for the World title you talk to me and I'm sick of you and everyone else here calling me names and saying I poisoned Andre's mind...I have done no such thing, but awoken him to reality to face it head on with guys like Hulk Hogan who need to be put down to the mat. Piper: Now hold on just a minute, I didn't invite you out here I invited Andre and I want to hear from Andre himself. Albano: (Lou Albano comes out) Andre what have you done to all these people out here to me your former manager, what you don't got a mouth to speak with? Why you want this half-wit speaking for you from now on? You know something I honestly hope that Hulk Hogan whips your butt at Wrestlemania and takes the World title away from you (Andre scares off Albano) Piper: Wait wait we don't need this.... Heenan: No no no we don't need you or anyone in wrestling to belittle me or the Giant. Piper: No one is belittling nobody but you Andre are going to have hell to pay when you lose the World title (leaves with Andre looking at the crowd)

Hogan: I know how big he is man! The whole world knows how big he is! I'm not saying I'm bigger than him and we don't even know how strong he really is man! I don't even know if I could pick him up man, or if I could even beat him! But I'll try man that's the difference I'll try! I'll give it my all! And when I saw him with Weasel man, I knew he was different, we're fighting for different reasons man, it's the money the ego the greed I can see it in his eyes man! I'm fighting for a generation brother, I'm fighting for all the little ones and all the Hulksters, because their hearts and souls were torn apart when Andre tore my shirt and broke my crucifix man...I'll get ya Andre I'll get ya! WWF Prime Time Wrestling March 16th, 1987 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanThe Snake Pit: Jake: You know as I prepare for my match against the Honkey Tonk Man who had the guts to try to pull a fast one with his guitar ha, he's in for a surprise as my friend a real musician Alice Cooper will by my side and with Damien and the DDT, he won't stand a chance. But of course with Wrestlemania III around the corner, it's the big one, World Heavyweight Champion Andre the Giant taking on Hulk Hogan, who would've thought the day would come that these two titans would go at it so I want to bring out Andre the Giant. (Andre walks out with Heenan) I got to ask Andre, why Hulk Hogan, you're the World Champion, you could face anyone you want...Hulk Hogan didn't even challenge you for the World title, but you're challenging him? Heenan: You want to speak to Andre you speak to me. Jake: No no no this is not how it works I don't bring you out here so that I could talk to someone else. I want to talk to Andre. Heenan: How about we just leave Andre... Jake: Fine fine fine you can be a mouthpiece for him all you want but I want to know why Hulk Hogan why challenge him? Heenan: It's because Andre is sick and tired of Hulk Hogan, of everything he stands for of Hulkamania. He's sick and tired of a man who used him a man who who stabbed him in the back and made fun of him....for fifteen years Andre stands undefeated and is the World Heavyweight Champion, but there is one man Andre has yet to defeat. One man who stands in his way for eternal glory, one man who stands in the way of everything Andre fought for all his years. All the movies, merchandise, the royalties, the big money, why does Hulk Hogan get all the fame and fortune and even as Andre defends his title around the world, Hogan gets the most attention, Hogan gets everything. Jake: So Andre is jealous? Heenan: No Andre sees reality, it's unfair. Look at the record of the Giant, it's unbreakable. A man like Hulk Hogan has done what in the WWF? Two years as World Champion and that's it? He's got nothing and has everything. It's all unfair. Jake: Fair enough, but Andre don't you realize all the respect you've lost from the people? Heenan: You tell me who do you think is going to win at Wrestlemania III? Jake: I respect faith, but doubt has taught me a lot. I know Andre is a big man but this can only be answered in the ring. Heenan: Let me tell you something Hogan, look at the size of Andre, look at what this man's accomplished and I know you're shaking in your boots, you're terrified, you can't sleep you can't even do a proper interview or anything. Wrestlemania Hogan is the end of Hulkamania.
