WWF at the Boston Garden July 11th, 1987 (Live on NESN) Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Lord Alfred Hayes Bruno Sammartino def. The Honkey Tonk Man (w/Jimmy Hart) via pinfall___________________________________________________ Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Killer Khan (w/Mr. Fuji) for the WWF World Heavyweight ChampionshipHulk Hogan enters the ring and tears his shirt and before the bell rings, suddenly Killer Khan spits out a green mist into Hogan's face. Hogan shouts out-loud as though his eyes were burning as the crowd is stunned watching (this happened on the Snake Pit on Superstars, but in this timeline this happens during a match). WWF Officials run out to check up on Hulk Hogan. Khan is at a corner watching as the referee shouts at him. A bucket of water is brought out quickly and they try to get all the green mist out of Hogan's face. The match was about to be declared a no contest, till Hogan says he could see and can continue. Mr. Fuji on the outside rings the bell himself to start the match as WWF Officials are wondering what happened. Hogan is on his feet and he grapples with Khan, but Khan rakes Hogan's eyes (Hogan's face is still mostly green) and lands a few chops for Hogan to fall. Khan gets huge heat from the crowd. Hogan struggles to get up and Khan lands more chops in the corner and whips Hogan to a corner as Hogan falls flat on his face. Gorilla says the green mist must have weakened Hogan somehow. Khan grabs a hold of Hogan and does a bearhug weakening Hogan even more. The referee does an armcount to two as Hogan starts to Hulk up and breaks the hold. Hogan hits the ropes, but Khan kicks Hogan right in the neck as Hogan falls. Khan gets the thumb choke hold, and goes for the cobra clutch submission. Hogan is out cold as WWF Officials stop the match. Winner: No Contest
WWF Officials declare the match a no contest due to the strange and mysterious mist thrown on Hogan and that they didn't call for the bell, but it was Mr. Fuji who did. Hogan retains the World title. Gorilla says that the WWF will investigate. ___________________________________________________ The Hart Foundation (Dynamite Kid & Bret Hart) (w/Neidhart & Jimmy Hart) (c) def. The Bulldogs (Davey Boy and Junkyard Dog) (w/Lou Albano) via pinfall over Davey Boy to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. The Islanders came out and Tama beat up on JYD to keep on on the outside, while Haku taunted the Bulldogs with Matilda.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling July 20th, 1987 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanHeenan: You know Gorilla, the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase has taken the WWF by storm and I know how this man is not only outside of the ring but also inside. He's one of the best in ring technicians, a master of the art and what character...just look at this video he sent us... Ted Dibiase Vignette:
The Million Dollar Man comes out ringside at a recent show with Virgil and has a lot of cash in his hands. He gets a mic and starts to throw money into the crowd as tens of people try to get their hands on what Dibiase calls "hundred dollar bills" but in fact Dibiase is throwing around one dollar bills and the vignette has Dibiase's voiceover as follows: "I'm the Million Dollar Man and don't get me wrong, I'm not the kind of man who throws around money, rather I take the pleasure of all these peons out here I mean look at how they fight over for some cash...look at how desperate these people look and that is what gives me pleasure, that's right I feel pleased doing it but that's not hundred dollar bills I'm throwing as they think I am...I could, but I wouldn't waste that much money as I'm really throwing one dollar bills to also teach these peons a lesson that you could never be like me, like the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase". Gorilla: Are you kidding me Brain? He could've at least thrown hundred dollar bills and still he only did it for his pleasure not even charity. Heenan: How many bills have you thrown around? (Gorilla shakes his head) See you've not once done a good deed like Dibiase has done... Gorilla: Give me a break. Matches: The New Dream Team def. jobbers via pinfall

Ted: (laughs) Are you kidding me, do I look like a guy who needs a junior suite, do you know who I am? Clerk: No sir. Ted: I'm the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase...Virgil (Virgil hands over a hundred dollar bill)...I need the penthouse suite and I need it now. Clerk: Well sir the penthouse suite costs a lot more than a hundred dollars and besides it's booked... Ted: No you don't understand...Virgil (three hundred dollar bills more are given) Clerk: Umm sir...I...O I get it...ummm look my boss will not be happy if I took this Ted: I respect a woman who wants to bargain, very well Virgil (five more hundred dollar bills) Clerk: Give me a moment. Virgil is with the clerk at the penthouse suite door as Virgil shouts at the honeymoon couple to leave. The couple gather their things are in shock, as Dibiase looks at the camera. Ted: Don't think that I'm a bad guy for doing this, hey I needed the room more than this couple who are on their honeymoon because let's be honest, the way they are, they're not going to last a few weeks and like most marriages they end in divorce (laughs) so once again I proved it that everyone's got a price for the Million Dollar Man. Saturday Night's Main Event August 1st, 1987 (Jul.27 taping) Veterans Memorial, Pheonix, Arizona Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" VenturaNote: There was no August SNME, but it was quite a gap from May to October with no major event like The Big Event that was in the previous year...in this timeline NBC wanted another show and it was done as Vince wanted to push other stars like Ted Dibiase. Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase (w/Virgil) vs. Billy Jack Haynes in Singles competition. At the beginning of the match Dibiase offers a hundred dollars to anyone in the audience who could rub his body with oil to get him ready. A woman comes in and quickly does so and Dibiase gives her the money. Billy Jack Haynes can't believe it and attacks Dibiase early on. Ted Dibiase five minutes in gets his sleeper hold finisher for the win. Winner: Ted Dibiase via sleeper_________________________________________________ King Harley Race & Ravishing Rick Rude (w/Heenan) def. Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff & Omar Atlas in a Tag match via pinfall. Rude pins Atlas in the ring while Orndorff and Race were going at it on the outside. Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/Elizabeth) def. Hogan is in the ring as both Khan and Fuji go after Hogan, but Hogan starts to Hulk up and clotheslines them both as the bell rings. Hogan and Khan go at it, till while the referee doesn't look, Khan spits out the green mist as Hogan was in a good distance away this time but it gets into his eyes and he shouts. Hogan is outcold as the referee does an arm count to two. Hogan is up and counters with punches and a clothesline. Hogan does a running knee kick as Khan is on the outside. Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion. This marks Butch Reed the first African-American to win a WWF Championship. Ricky was getting a leave because of his son, and instead of losing to HTM, Vince decided to give it to Reed (who was the original guy to win anyway but he no showed an event) who already had a strong push early on and to test how a heel African-American champion could work.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling August 3rd, 1987 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Gorilla: The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase has proven himself recently when he defeated Billy Jack Haynes. Not only this, but take a look at this match up where he went up against Tito Santana take a look: Ted Dibiase (w/Virgil) def. Tito Santana via pinfall. Dibiase got the roll up victory on Tito.
Heenan: I told you before Gorilla, Ted Dibiase is one of the best out there. Gorilla: I do have to agree that he is a tough competitor, but did you see what he did at a recent show at the LA Sports arena? Heenan: What did he do? Video is shown of Dibiase paying Iron Mike Sharpe in cash to face Scott Casey for him. Scott Casey gets the pinfall and Ted Dibiase has Virgil beat up on Mike Sharpe and take back the cash that was in his tights. Heenan: What he can't pay a man to wrestle for him? It's like having a manager. Same idea. Gorilla: O give me a break, it's laziness and that's not how it works here in the WWF and now folks look at what the Million Dollar Man did to this kid, this kid who deserved every bit of that money... ____________________________________ Ted Dibiase and Virgil (who has a basketball) are on stage: Ted: I want all you peons out there to listen up, I am the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and as rich as I am I want to help a poor and unfortunate kid out here with a chance to win five hundred big ones. All this kid has to do is dribble this basketball fifteen times in a row and the five hundred bucks is his or her. So Virgil let's bring out a kid (Virgil brings out an African-American kid with a Hulkamania T-Shirt)...Is that you're hero kid, Hulk Hogan? Kid: Yes. Ted: (laughs) I get it get it you know he's the World Heavyweight Champion, but Kid you got a lot to learn about how life works so you want five hundred dollars (laughs) you look like you could use one (laughs) alright let's see what you got (the Kid dribbles to ball as the fans count along with him until he gets to fourteen and Dibiase kicks the ball) Oooo...nooo....you were supposed to get fifteen but only got fourteen so you can't have the money. I'm sorry kid but that's what you get for liking Hulk Hogan. Vitamins and prayers aren't what makes you win, money makes you a winner alright and everyone's got a price for the Million Dollar Man. ____________________________________ Gorilla: Sickening just sickening. Heenan: Dibiase has a point money is what makes the world go round and that kid learned the hard truth about life. Gorilla: O give me a break.

Dibiase: Now now there would you like to become my personal valet? I already got a bodyguard and a valet is all I need. Woman: Yes...(nods)...if the price is right Dibiase: (laughs) She gets it! She finally gets it I respect that. But you see I need someone more beautiful, someone more elegant...someone who just isn't you. However...because I respect that you understand that everyone's got a price...I'm going to offer you a thousand dollars (Virgil holds up cash) and I'll give it to you if you bow down and bark like a dog (laughs) The woman bows and starts to bark, but the barking doesn't sound good.Dibiase: Now now that's the worst bark I've ever heard for a bi(censor) (laughs, gets huge heat) I'm sorry but you won't be getting anything from me. WWF Houston Wrestling October 9th, 1987 Hosts: Bruce Prichard, Mike McGuirk and Pete DohertyTelevised Live Program: Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase (w/Virgil) for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship
The first confrontation between the two as Hulk Hogan wanted to teach Dibiase a lesson for what he has done so far and for what he did to that little Hulkster who dribbled a basketball. Highlights of what Ted Dibiase has done so far and his vignettes are shown. Dibiase gets into the ring and gets a mic before Hulk Hogan comes in. Ted: Now listen up all of you, as you all know everyone's got a price for the Million Dollar Man and I am looking for a new valet, but before I find her (laughs) I have to take on the World Heavyweight Champion and just prove to you all how good I really am (gets interrupted as Hulk Hogan comes out). Hogan gets in the ring and points at Ted, tearing his shirt and passing over the World title belt to the referee. They lock up, Dibiase works on Hogan's arm, but Hogan whips him easily to a corner and goes for a clothesline, but Dibiase gets out of the way as Hogan lands on the turnbuckle. Dibiase does a hiptoss and works on the arm. Dibiase lands kicks and gets Hogan up as Hogan counters and manages to toss Dibiase on the outside. Hogan follows him till Virgil shoves Hogan to the ringpost hurting his back. Dibiase breaks the count and lands punches on Hogan. He tosses Hogan back in the ring as Dibiase starts to work on Hogan's back and lands two elbow drops on the back and a jumping stomp on the back of Hogan's head. Hogan is up and Dibiase clotheslines him at ease. He taunts the fans. Hogan starts to hulk up as Dibiase is distracted. Hogan lands punches and whips Dibiase to the ropes for an Axe Bomber. Hogan lands an atomic drop and smashes Ted's head on the turnbuckle five times, Hogan whips him to another corner and Hogan lands the clothesline. Hogan goes for the big boot and lands it but Dibiase falls on the outside. Hogan once again goes on the outside and as Virgil tries to land punches, Hogan blocks it and pushes him aside, but Dibiase clotheslines Hogan who lands on the steel steps. Ted is on the apron and lands diving elbow drop on Hogan and runs back into the ring for the countout win. Winner: Ted Dibiase via Countout.
Dibiase is celebrating in the ring as Virgil gets back in the ring and hands over the World title belt to Dibiase. However the referee takes it away as the announcer reminds everyone that a title cannot change hands this way. Dibiase argues with the referee and leaves. Hulk Hogan is hurt and gets to the stage with the World title belt where Bruce Prichard is waiting to interview him. Bruce: Well Hulkster it looks like Ted Dibiase got the countout victory over you. Hulk: (is really angry) How could he take this title belt away like that? How? You can't become a champion this way man....Does Dibiase think a countout will bring down the Hulkster well he's wrong man! Dibiase may won the match, but the war isn't over brother. Bruce: Dibiase has really proven himself tonight, but will you offer Ted Dibiase a rematch? Hulk: If you're think I'm scared of the multi-Million Dollar Man, you're wrong because I'll give him a title shot at any time brother even as low-lifes like him don't deserve it.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling October 15th, 1987 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Heenan: I've got a huge announcement to make...Andre the Giant is making a return at the first ever Survivor Series on November 26th, that's right Andre the Giant is assembling a team of his own to challenge Hulk Hogan's own team and we know it's going to be filled with a bunch of losers. Gorilla: This is fantastic news, will you tell us about Andre's team? Heenan: Hulk Hogan doesn't stand a chance, they're calling it the Giants, which consist of Andre the Giant, One Man Gang, King Kong Bundy, Kamala and Black Jack Mulligan (recently turned heel), the biggest giants in professional wrestling assembled into one ring. Gorilla: Hopefully we'll have a response from Hulk Hogan soon to see if he'll take on the challenge and who his partners will actually be. Miss Elizabeth interview with Craig DeGeorge: Craig: It's been sometime since we last spoke and I stand before the valet of the new WWF Intercontinental Champion, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Miss Elizabeth. Elizabeth I have to ask, that's a beautiful looking necklace is that real diamonds? Liz: Yes...it's strange how I got it actually at Saturday Night's Main Event I got a package saying it was from a secret admirer earlier that night, but it was obviously Randy...he was being romantic. Craig: Well I'm sure you have many secret admirers, but that's quite an expensive gift it really shows how Randy feels about you though I got to ask, how do you feel about him now as the new WWF Intercontinental Champion? Liz: I'm more than happy and never felt happier for the Macho Man. Craig: It also seemed that he has now found a new alliance with Hulk Hogan. Liz: O yes I'm happy for the both of them and I can't wait to see the Mega Powers united. Craig: Well both men are busy and got quite a handful as Championship holders. Liz: We'll probably have to wait and see.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling October 22nd, 1987 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanMillion Dollar Man Ted Dibiase with Virgil are on stage with Craig DeGeorge Craig: I have to ask Mr. Ted Dibiase, you have made your mark here in the World Wrestling Federation and recently scored a victory over the World Heavyweight Champion, Hulk Hogan. Ted: What you need to understand is that as long as championship gold is not around my waist the victories that I gain over any champion won't matter. But even championships can be bought, you can be bought, everyone out here can be bought... Craig: I don't think you can actually buy a World title... Ted: You really don't know how the world works do you? Craig: Now what about your search for a new valet? If you claim that money can buy anyone why haven't you found her yet? Ted: Why don't you shut your mouth and listen to what I have to say because yes I'm looking for a valet, but not just any valet, a real woman of elegance who with a diamond necklace would make her shine bright by my side... Craig: Wait wait...did you say diamond necklace? Ted: Now now we don't need to go there (laughs), because I have my eyes on this particular woman. No I don't need anyone to love, sure money can buy love, but I need someone who will be my side as I win the World Heavyweight Championship or any championship for that matter and prove to the world that I am the best. Craig: Are you talking about her...Miss... Ted: (puts a few hundred in Craig's pocket) now now... Craig: I don't think I could accept this I would get fired...
