Which feud that didn't have a proper ppv blow off match did you most want to see?
I'm thinking of Warrior v Jake, Warrior v Taker, Tito v Martel, Demolition v LOD, Hogan v Flair (WWF not WCW) to name a few that I wish I'd seem at a big 4 ppv back in the day.
How bout everyone else? Also any ideas how you would have booked it?

LOD vs. Demolition did kind of happen at Survivor Series 90 though.
Undertaker vs. Bezerker
Jake The Snake vs. Earthquake
Those two instantly came to my mind.

LOD vs. Demolition did kind of happen at Survivor Series 90 though. Undertaker vs. Bezerker Jake The Snake vs. Earthquake Those two instantly came to my mind. True but it was a survivor series match as opposed to a straight tag match that I was hoping for, ideally at mania 7? Good call on the other 2 especially Jake v quake. Killing Damien was a major thing and they never got anything out of it with Jake turning heel by summerslam. |

A few that come to mind...
Hogan vs Perfect could of easily been a PPV match. I liked their mini feud in late 89/early 90.
Warrior vs Jake Roberts would of been an awesome PPV match. Imagine the promos from both leading up to it.
Hogan vs Flair should of happened at WM 8 though. It's a match that writes itself and would of been a big draw to that card. We did get the awesome Flair vs Savage match so i'm not complaining but WWF really dropped the ball by not having Hogan/ Flair headline a PPV.

The Beverly's destroyed Neidhart's knee, and then Neidhart got Owen to be his partner and at the Royal Rumble 92 they had them face the Orient Express, as the Beverly Brothers fought the Bushwhackers.

Yeah it's a shame they just ended the feud before it got off the ground. New foundation vs Orient Express was a great opener at that Rumble though. |

Hogan vs Perfect could of easily been a PPV match. I liked their mini feud in late 89/early 90. I would have loved to see Perfect vs. Hogan on PPV. I too was a fan of their feud. — Cena vs. Christian in 2005 is a missed opportunity imo. They spent all this time building up Christian for a Cena feud, then it just died with a Triple Threat at Vengeance, because they decided to go with Jericho. — Less upsetting but it kinda seemed like they were heading towards a Mankind vs. Al Snow match somewhere in late 99, but probably died down because Mick gave his notice about retirement. — Jericho vs. Shamrock never got a PPV match either in mid-late 99 right? Seemed like that would have been perfect for Unforgiven, but I'm guessing something happened with Shamrock since they did the big payoff on the Smackdown before the PPV and we never saw Ken again. — HBK vs. Owen seemed destined in late 97/early 98 after the Montreal Screwjob, they had him doing run-ins in Shawns matches and everything. Then they just decided to feed him to Triple H all the way till Mania. I wonder if he was supposed to be Shawn's opponent at IYH: No Way Out but they had to go with the 8-man tag because they knew Shawns back was done. |

I know we got it many times for the WWE Title, but I always wanted to see Bret Hart defend the IC Title against Shawn Michaels in 1992. Instead we got Bret vs. Bulldog, which was good too. And we did get Bret vs. Shawn at Survivor Series 92 for the WWE Title. But their IC Title matches that are on the old WWF Coliseum Videos are great, so a PPV match would have been amazing for the IC Title.

I don't think Rick Martel and Tito Santana had a PPV match that was one on one.
Hogan and Flair in the WWF I would agree on that being a missed opportunity.

Demolition vs. Brain Busters comes to mind too.
They fought on two SNME shows, and Wrestling Challenge when they won the belts back from the Busters.

I remember Ted Dibiase costing Texas Tornado the IC title in late 90 and it seemed like they would feud heading into the Rumble yet they went with Dibiase/Virgil vs The Rhodes Family.
