TM61 absolutely suck and are one of the most boring teams I have ever witnessed. I was at a house show and the jobber team was more over than they were. Tremendously bland.
TJ Perkins. He was a horrible choice for the winner of the CWC and he sucks massive balls.

Not that I condone people losing their jobs, but... Darren Young (WWE has tried, but nobody cares. He's never entertained me personally) Shining Stars (Talented guys, but nobody cares. Every gimmick has flopped) Ascension (Seem like cool guys, but their whole shtick is dated) Tamina (Boring, stale, and more boring) Eve Marie (She's shown improvement, but where is she? Poop or get off the pot) Summer Rae (I like her, She's hot, but where has she gone? Get her back and in the ring or let her go) I'm not a fan of guys like Mojo or Dar, but least they serve a purpose. So keep them around. I believe Summer has been dealing with some kind of somewhat serious injury. I'm not sure if it's been specified, but she's referred to it on Instagram. |

Those are the only guys I see that the company will never do anything with. Axel would be outstanding on the independents.

I'm going to go with someone no one has said yet.
Michael Cole.
He's been around since 1997. How is he still so awful as a commentator? He is the most outwardly obnoxious commentator I've ever heard and actively ruins WWE products. And yet, he's still constantly around. Commentators need refreshed and on their roster they have so many better play by play commentators, guys who actually call play by play wrestling rather than laughing at what's going on and burying the talent. The angle with Bryan killed his momentum dead for years, but the angle truthfully just shined a light on what Cole does, did, and continues to do; bury talent. I don't know if there's someone in his ear or if he's just doing it, but no one will ever get over because of him. Ever. The play by play commentator's role is to call the action, explain why things hurt, explain what's going on to the uninitiated and do so in a way that doesn't insult the intelligence of the initiated. Michael Cole does none of these. You want to talk about social media, fine, find down times in the matches to do so. That's what down times are for, to talk about other relevant things. Not just power talking over the matches, then during down times laughing about nothing like an idiot.

I don't think anyone needs to be released.
What WWE needs to do is make Main Event and Superstars their own brands too. Guys like Swagger, D. Young, Bo Dallas, The Colon's and such can appear on those shows.
It would give them TV time each week and they would have meaningful spots and matches since that's their brand.

Most of them serve their purpose, or could with a few tweaks. I'd definitely reunite the Prime Time Players... They're just much better as a team.
Primo and Epico I don't see ever getting over to any great extent, but they are good hands to work with new guys on debuts and dark match tryouts etc. I'd maybe try them as part of a stable, like the Bashams in JBL's Cabinet.
In terms of being a good hand to work with newcomers, I'd probably keep Curtis Axel also, although I'd never expect him to do anything of note.
So in terms of releases, I'd go with:
Bo Dallas - I don't think anything they do with him will end up working at this point.
Jinder Mahal - unless we couldn't find anyone else to do his job better.
Jack Swagger - been a long time in a low place. Can't imagine him achieving much again and he's too big to be a jobber, plus I'm interested in seeing how he'd do on the indies. But he seems like a guy who just wants to keep making that WWE money.

Darren Young - Again No one Cares , Put Bob with Titus.
Bo Dallas - I dont think he will be anything but a jobber but they have others so they can let him go.
Jack Swagger - Been doing nothing for a while the tried 2x for huge pushes for him and nothing panned out so it time to call it quits.
Mark Henry - Same as Jack Swagger but they tried like 10X and it hasn't worked, he's been there for ever time to move on, he is also making a killing being there for as long as he has and they are pretty much throwing money away on him. They could just make him a agent also.
Sin Cara - They have Kalisto who is better , and a few other cruiserweights with masks now they don't need him, and he isn't very good any ways.
Rosa Mendes - Useless and not attractive at all.
Tamina - Never good in ring , been there forever , always injured and only there because of her dad.

Michael Cole needs to go This 100% Cole was almost tolerable back in the day when he would occasionally fill in for JR, and even for a few years after on Smackdown. Somewhere along the line, Cole's ego exploded, and I don't know if it was for television, or what, but he is completely terrible. He makes nearly every match he calls seem like a joke, to the point where hardly anything feels of any importance. I've heard that Vince is always in the commentator's ears, which might explain some of it. But really, Cole takes away from the product so much it's mind boggling that he's been there that long. Worst commentator in history. |
