Not really sure about everyone saying Orton isn't talented, his Legend Killer run was one of his most fruitful periods. The spamming of the superkicks and over the top flippy crap do feel excessive I agree, don't forget the whole 'IED' thing in the vs. Triple H /McMahons storyline in 2009 too which was superb. I feel like people in this thread are taking Orton's comments as a personal attack and are trying to defend Indy wrestling by criticising his accomplishments 😂 I see more people criticizing Orton as he is now, not how he was. Randy Orton was, at one time, one of the most consistently entertaining characters on the roster. He's a shell of his former self who has been resting on his laurels and getting by doing the bare minimum for about 8 years now, save the Christian feud. 5 if you want to be generous. He's not wrong for agreeing with a lot of the stuff said about indy wrestling, it's just kind of comical coming from him.

this thing apparently has legs....and in the long run is BETTER for indy wrestling than any other kind of "social media promotion" they try to do......
Orton is doing indy wrestling a favor with all of this. and the funny thing is, that he appeared to just be either busting balls or half-truth bombing. Maybe a combination of both, but his point is completely valid about the way indy wrestling has turned.

While I do agree that Orton has been just meeting the status quo for quite some time now, people seem to forget about the number of shoulder injuries he's sustained in that time. You can't really fault the man for wanting to play it safe for the longevity of his career.

I've been in indy wrestling for 14 years and Orton is so right about everything. Indy wrestlers now a days are just the same. I've seen way too many fat guys with idiot long hipster beards using the big boot then spear finisher. I've seen enough 143 LB twerps flip and flop all over the place and just look stupid with their airbrushed at a flea market kick pads and dirty running shoes. And would it hurt for some of these feds who have women valets actually look good and not be fatter then the "wrestler" they lead to the ring???

Oh look, you got to post about your indie wrestling and how beards are hipster in one post. I wonder how many workers that know you know you constantly sh** about them on an Internet forum?

Constantly? Really? And the ones I have a problem with do. I don't hide my feelings. I've told some of them who just started that they need to stop looking like everyone else and the twerps that they need to actually have a theory in their matches. The booker agreed with me. And idiots with big hipster beards need to stop. They look damn ridiculous.

Let's keep this on topic instead of bickering back and forth about hipster beards.

ANYWAY....Orton is right.

I love Orton, such a natural bunghole lol but does anyone have a pic of Lowkis reply to these comments?
It was pretty good and Im awaiting Ortons response unless he just ignores Lowki.

I love Low-Ki, and really wish he made it in the WWE as Kaval but I doubt Orton knows who the hell he is or even cares to reply lol.

Orton would draw more at one Indy show than Lowki would in 100.

I really like his in ring work whether from TNA or WWE or the Indies, hes a consistently great worker but yeah I doubt Orton will reply. Bully Ray replied to him though. So did Batista and Goldust lol

Not saying he's wrong but a statement like that cant come from someone as lacklustre as Randy Orton. Take away the RKO and he has pretty much nothing else to offer. Its not like he's able to pull off 5 star matches like Cena has.

Mick Foley at Backlash Undertaker in HIAC Rey Mysterio on Smackdown for the WHC Edge in 2004 All his matches with Christian in 2011 His matches with Henry in 2011 were even great His matches with Daniel Bryan These were some that come to mind but the list goes on.. People don't give him enough credit.

They're arguing he's not very good now, and your list just supports that claim.

They had I think like 2 or 3 maybe. But his match with Rollins at Mania 31 was great. He was injured not to long after that for almost a year and then returned less than a year ago. He plays it safe with his shoulder but people are making it out like he's never put on a great match
