I was bored (I can’t get the spoiler tag to work right forgive me for the wall of text)
Dusty Rhodes vs Cactus Jack Part 1WCW World Wide 8/22/92[/b]
The show opens on Ron Simmons celebrating after his World Title win on Main Event. Sting, the original challenger is the first to greet Ron and congratulate him when he walks in the locker room. Sting slips away as more of the wrestlers congratulate Ron. Hes stopped in the hall by Dusty Rhodes, who accompanied Ron Simmons to the ring for his title match.
Rhodes: Listen Stinger I just got out of a meeting and I have some news for you. You caught a bad break, tonight was supposed to be your rematch with Vader but the cards were not in your favor. But your gonna get better and your gonna better quicker then any of us even realize. And once your better Stinger I want you to train hard, because at the 20th Anniversary of Clash of the Champions you will be Ron’s first challenger.
Sting: Dusty, Dusty, I’m flattered and honored. Just make sure Ron knows what you’re getting him into.
The two shake and the show proceeded as normal. After the final match Dusty Rhodes takes the ring and introduces the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons to a cheering audience. For the live audience Simmons confirms that his first challenger will be Sting at the 20th Anniversary of Clash of the Champions.

Jim Ross opens the show inside a gym. He introduces himself and throws to the footage of Dusty from the week before. When it cuts back, a sweat covered Ron Simmons joins Ross.
Ross: Standing by is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons who the American Dream has taken on as something of a protege. Ron, Clash of the Champions is only a few days away, what’s your mind set heading into your first tile defense against Sting.
Simmons: My mind set? Like you said my mentor Dusty was left laying last week two weeks before my first real test as champion. Make no mistake Ross, I got a lot going on upstairs but it’s all focused on that jealous punk Sting.
Ross: A-are you saying what I think you’re saying Ron?
Simmons: Damn right I am! There were chips of green face paint on the ground next to Dusty. So unless the Great Mutas snuck in without anyone noticing that only points to one man, the man who had to forfeit his title rematch, the man who’s place took two weeks ago. Sting you had everyone folded but now that the truth is out, come Clash you’re going right back on the bench!
Later in the show, Jim Ross is sitting beside a conflicted Sting in his hotel room.
Ross: After the interview given by the World Heavyweight Champion at the top of the hour, WCW officials have barred both Simmons and Sting from tonight’s broadcast. I’m sitting here with the challenger and Stinger, I hate to ask this but it’s my job. Did you attack Dusty Rhodes?
Sting: Jim...how long have we known each other?
Ross: You were a rookie working for Bill Watts when I first met you. That must been at least the mid-80s...
Sting: So about ten years. About ten years you’ve known me and worked with me, do you really, honestly deep down inside think I had anything to do with what happened to Dusty?
Ross: …the Sting I know-
Sting: Woah, woah, woah, the Sting you knew? Are you saying I’ve changed? Are saying I’ve lost my way?
Ross: I’m just saying anyone in your shoes would have a lot of emotions running rampant right now and we saw the meeting between Paul E. Dangerously and Harley-
Sting: So what I’m a sell out?!
He shoots to his feet and rips the mic out of Ross’ hand.
Sting: Money talks right? And boy do those two rats have money to throw around right? The God**** nerve of you Jim!
He drops the mic and pulls Ross up off of the couch by his jacket collar. Security rush in to intervene as Sting continues to berate Jim Ross...
WCW Main Event 8/30/92[/i]
The show opens with Ricky Steamboat indirectly pointing the finger of blame at Sting. He says that hopefully by the time his match with Sting is over, he’ll be convinced of Stings innocence.
Halfway through the show as advertised Sting makes his way down to the ring. There’s a small collection of boos mixed in with the usual cheers. He meets Jim Ross in the middle of the ring. He apologizes to Jim and admits his emotions have been all over the place. He reiterates that he had nothing to do with the assault on Dusty Rhodes.
During Stings match with a Ricky Steamboat the camera occasionally goes picture in picture to show Ron Simmons paying close attention to the match. The match goes along fine until the ref is inadvertently knocked out by Sting as he attempts to wrestle out of a Sleeper Hold. The announcers proclaim that the Stinger struck the ref on purpose.
He fights out of the Sleeper Hold and before he can fully grasp the situation, Harley Race comes down to ringside. Sting meets him outside and the two begin to argue. Steamboat comes to in the ring only the struck across the back with a steel chair courtesy of Rick Rude while Steve Austin helps the ref come to. Sting re-Exeter’s the ring and pins Steamboat unaware of the interference.
The boos are more prominent as a confused Sting celebrates. Back in the locker room, Ron Simmons has tossed the TV across the room and is through chairs around as wrestlers and security try in vein to calm him down...
Clash of the Champions- 20th Anniversary 9/2/92[/i]
The main event between Sting and Ron Simmons starts hot. The match is an intense mostly controlled by the veteran Sting who makes use of Ron’s hotheaded mistakes. As the match progress Ron begins to fight back and even dominate over the Stinger.
After locking Sting in a Bearhug, Paul E. Dangerously comes down to the ring and the crowd boo. Simmons throws Sting to the mat and goes to confront Dangerously. The ref stops him only for Simmons to throw him from the ring.
Simmons continues to yell at Paul E. oblivious to Steve Austin coming out from under the ring and throwing the belt in the ring to Sting. The crowd boo and Simmons turns around as Sting stands up, holding the title. He looks down at the title then back at Ron.
Simmons yells at him to do it. Stings gaze goes from the crowd to the belt to Ron and back again. On commentary Jim Ross has fallen silent while Jesse Ventura seems elated and encourages Sting. The boos out of nowhere turn to cheers...
Ross: It’s The Dream! Dustys is back!
Dusty comes out from the crowd and catches a punch from Austin and counters with one of his own. Austin rolls right to his feet and in a daze. He walks right into a Bionic Elbow which gets a huge pop from the crowd. With the tables turned, Paul E. frantically calls Bobby Eaton, Rick Rude and Arn Anderson out from the back. The trio storms the ring as Ron and Sting share a quick look. Dusty joins them and the show ends with the six brawling in the ring.
Part 2WCW World Wide 9/5/92[/i]
The show opens backstage at CotC. Dusty Rhodes is standing up while Ron Simmons sits next to him.
Rhodes: And to think we all thought that was no honor among thieves. Harley Race, Paul E. Dangerously you have proven otherwise. I would love to stand here before God and everyone and say that Sting is innocent...but I can’t. I know that doesn’t sit well with the Stinger and it most likely doesn’t sit well with the fans but the evidence still points to the Stinger. I didn’t get a look at my assailant and apparently the security footage has come up missing. So Stinger until the truth, the whole truth comes out, I’ll be watching you like a hawk brother...
The main event of the show sees Ron Simmons and Ricky Steamboat reluctantly teaming with Sting to take on the Dangerous Alliance trio fo Eaton, Anderson, and Rude. Tensions still run high as Steamboat and Simmons hesitate to tag in Sting.
Towards the end of the match, Steamboat and Rude are pinned in the corner, trying to get the advantage. Sting runs in and toward their corner as he jumps into the air, Rude moves and Steamboat gets hit with the Stinger Splash. Sting rolls out of the ring and Rude pins Steamboat for the win.
Sting stares into the ring in shock. Before he can plead his case he’s blindsided by Simmons. Simmons brings him to the floor and tries to lay it no him but Sting breaks free and goes into the crowd. Simmons follows as Sting tries to plead his case. Simmons grabs Sting by the neck but Sting kicks his way free and takes off...
WCW Main Event 9/6/92[/i]
The show opens in Ron Simmons and Ricky Steamboat.
Simmons: He ran Dragon! He ran! When have you ever known Sting to run away?! I’m telling you, I’m telling everybody they’ve gotten into his head. He’s sold his soul! Sting, it’s you and me tonight, no Dangerous Alliance, no Paul E., no Steamboat, no Dusty, just me and you!
Through out the show it’s said that Sting hasn’t arrived at the building. After the third match, Ricky Steamboat is interviewed alone.
Steamboat: Deep down I want to say I know Stings innocent...but him slapping the ref, the Dangerous Alliance interference, running away it’s just...not like him. Somethings changed...and if I had to guess that something is his bank account.
The show progresses until it’s time for the main event. The WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons storms the ring, opting out of the usual pageantry. Stings plays...and plays and plays with no sign of the Stinger. Instead Harley Race comes out and proclaims that his new charge isn’t in the building and will no longer be wrestling on free television.
An enraged Simmons leaves the ring and chases Race to the back. Simmons turns a corner right into a fireball. He goes to the floor, holding his eyes and screaming in pain

WCW World Wide 9/20/92[/i]
Once again the program begins with Bill Watts in the ring.
Watts: Ladies and gentlemen last week I said if Sting did not show up tonight he would be suspended. Unfortunate Sting did not but not by choice. This morning he was found nattered and bruised in the hotel gym and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Now there’s been a lot of finger pointing lately but that ain’t my style. As of right no we have no culprit but we are working hard to find them. Thank you, enjoy the show.
The show also features Ricky Steamboat losing the WCW Television Title to Scott Steiner with assistance from Steve Austin.
WCW Main Event 9/21/92The show is largely uneventful until the main event, Scott Steiner defending his newly won TV Title against Bobby Eaton. Eaton comes out with only Paul E Dangerously. The match goes by and halfway through the show goes picture in picture with one side showing the match and the other showing a pick up truck skidding into the parking lot.
Dusty Rhodes exits the drivers sides and a clearly pained Sting exits the passenger side. Dusty pulls out two baseball bats from the bed and throws one to Sting. It doesn’t take long for them to find their targets. They catch Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko outside of the locker room and lay both out. A short while later they find Steve Austin and Sting lays him out.
Back in the ring, Scott defeats Eaton to retain his title. The crowd cheer as Dusty and Sting come through the curtain. Dangerously flees into the ring as the two approach him. Eaton grabs Dangerously and flees from the ring as Sting and Dusty charge it. The show ends with Sting and Dusty soaking in the cheers.

Cactus opens the show in a secluded room.
Cactus: You see normally Cactus Jack isn’t the kind of man to take bribes. But...getting to take out the American Dream...it was just too good to pass up. Imagine being able to say you left Dusty Rhodes laying in the parking lot, bleeding. I can. Imagine saying you turned an entire locker room on a beloved hero. I can. Imagine saying you listened with glee as the World Heavyweight Champion writhed and screamed in pain. I can...and for thrills like that, Hell I would’ve done it for free.

The two stare down in the ring with Paul E. being the only person keeping Cactus from jumping Dusty. The wheel spins and lands on a Texas Death Match. The crowd cheer and the bell ring. Cactus throws Dangerously aside and him and Dusty begin to trade punches in the middle of the ring.
It’s not long before the fight spills out to the floor with Dusty in control. Soon after Cactus introduces weapons into the match and regains control. Dusty weathers the storm as the two brawl up onto the ramp.
The fight goes to the backstage and through the the face locker rooms leaving a trail of knocked over equipment in their wake. It’s here that Dusty regains control and pulls out his last resort.
