Why are people saying Becky’s win was a botch? Both Becky and Ronda would know in that situation, Ronda never tried to kick out after the one count, her shoulders simply weren’t on the mat because she probably isn’t very good at wrestling yet and the ref couldn’t stop the count otherwise the whole finish would have been ruined...and at no point did Becky release the pin which would have easily broken up the count. This wasn’t a botch, it was a good ending. She outwrestled a fighter. She was never going to knockout Ronda for the 123, so instead she counted her with a wrestling hold. To me, this is textbook wrestling and a great finish ala Piper/Hart WrestleMania 8
If anything, Ronda’s lack of experience helped her here because it looks like she was never pinned now but Becky still has the belts. Everybody wins

I do think the show is too long. But I will say WWE did a good job keeping my attention throughout. Even the matches I didn't care much about were entertaining.
For two older guys, I thought Batista vs Triple H was pretty good. Glad WWE gave Angle a WM send off. Kofi vs Bryan was the MOTN. Glad Joe finally got a WM moment. SD tag title match was fun. As was Shane vs Miz. Seth's win was okay, but hopefully that's the end of Brock for awhile.
Like I said last night, the only outcome I had any issues with was Roman vs Drew. I like Roman, but I thought it would be better for his character to have him stumble a bit coming back so soon. Let him work his way back to the top. Maybe even have Drew win the title with Roman eventually defeating him in his redemption story. By beating Drew right away, there's no where really to go with him now. Drew didn't look good in defeat either.
Really looking forward to tonight.

Overall I'd say this was one of the more enjoyable WrestleMania's for me, in terms of being happy with a lot of the turnouts. Like many others, I'm very happy they pulled the trigger on Rollins, Kofi and Becky. It's actually incredible that all three went over here and provided genuine joy to me as a fan. All matches were pretty solid with the match of the night for me being Kofi vs. Bryan. Such a feel good moment seeing Kofi celebrate with Xavier, Big E and his family. Miz vs. Shane was much more entertaining than I expected with Shane taking some crazy bumps. Would have preferred Miz winning but I have a feeling this feud will continue. Triple H vs. Batista was a lot better than I thought it would be as well. I've seen some comments saying people thought it went on too long, but to me the match flowed nicely with some cool spots. Then again I might have had my nostalgia glasses on here and was simply enjoying it. Becky/Charlotte/Ronda was solid, but was hoping it would be more on-par with the TLC and Evolution matches earlier this year. The ending was also pretty sketchy. I see some reports indicating the ending was botched but to me that ending was 100% protecting Ronda, with her getting her shoulders up. It was abrupt but I personally believe that was the intention. Curious to see how they handle Becky being dual champion and if they will be unifying the titles or not.
I'm still kind of unpacking it but right now I'd give this show a 7.5/10. It wasn't amazing but for a 7 hour show, it actually went by pretty fast for me. I was entertained throughout, even though some matches just felt like higher-profile Raw or Smackdown main events (i.e., AJ vs. Orton and Reigns vs. McIntyre). I was also super bummed that Angle lost clean to Corbin. It just sucked the air right out of the arena and ultimately it's meaningless because I don't think Corbin can even generate more heat because the dude is maxed out as it is in terms of people hating him. I also hated hearing Kurt tell the audience that the words "You Suck" epitomized his career. Not even in the slightest, Kurt. He was one of the absolute best to ever lace up a pair of boots and I really wish he had a more meaningful send-off.

Too long. Didn’t need the Angle match, AJ v Orton, the Reigns match and most definitely didn’t need that HHH match. I hated that match, didn’t want to sit through it and couldn’t have cared any less about it. Just another plodding, plunder HHH match. The retirement angle was ridiculous. I thought he already was retired. It was not believable that those two were even legit enemies in the first place. Dumb.
Now the good — Kofi stole the show. Amazing match and moment. It made the show special. Women’s title match was great but suffered from a long wait to get to it. Iconics was a nice thing too.

More often than not...she does look like a guy in drag. Like a lot. One of the more masculine women on the roster. Her and Shayna both. You both need glasses if you think that this
Looks like a man in drag.
I have glasses and I don't need them to see that that pic is airbrushed to holy hell and back, Jack.

Everyone is looking for something different from these shows. That said, I'd put this one in my bottom 5 Wrestlemanias. For me the highlights were Kofi, Hogan (and the fact that it was a mercifully short segment), Cena, and Rollins. I was pleasantly surprised that all three big faces won.
The finishes overall were pretty underwhelming to bad. Miz/Shane was a decent match with a silly finish that defied logic. I'm not sure why Shane needed to win, and the finish worked for that, but why the hell wouldn't Miz just toss him off of the scaffold and then pin him?
AJ/Orton really did nothing for me. The right guy won a decent match, but it wasn't what it could've been.
I see that Reigns is already getting booed again, it took less time than I thought. Reigns/Drew didn't feel exciting at all. They could've at least had Drew kick out of a spear or two so that they could say 'what does he have to do? Maybe he's not ready' etc to at least make Drew look strong and make Roman's eventual victory even better. Instead he took Drew out with one of the weaker spears I've seen from him. It also would've been nice to see Ambrose one last time even if it was just as a distraction and celebration cameo.
Lesnar/Rollins was almost ridiculously short. I know that they had a lot to get to in seven hours, but the match spam essentially Lesnar dominating, Seth hitting a low blow and 3 stomps. Maybe it was for shock value as well, but I kind of was hoping for something more competitive....speaking of which
Joe/Mysterio was good for Joe, great for Joe actually, but awful for Mysterio. Has he won a single match besides the one to become number one contender? 60 seconds? If this was his last match at Wrestlemania I guess its cool as a throwback to JBL's last match against Mysterio. Good for Joe, he should be destroying people.
Kofi/Bryan was far and away the match of the night. My only complaint is that it was on too early. It was a weird setup with the first title match first and the second title match smack in the middle. I probably would've put it in the Hogan/Rock spot 2 before the main event and had Angle/Corbin go on second to last.
God, Batista/Triple H was slooooooow and boring. I figured Flair would be the deciding factor, but there are some other things that could've made this a bit more exciting. The nose ring spot was brutal though.
Angle/Corbin was what it was. I wanted Angle to win but much like Mysterio, props to Angle for contributing to someone who will be around. They didn't milk it for all it was worth and make it melodramatic with video packages and wrestlers talking about how much Angle meant to them as they did for Flair. I kind of which they had, it would've felt good to blubber for Angle. Instead I shed a single tear. It was clear that Angle couldn't go any harder, so even a match with a higher profile opponent might've been more of a disappointment.
I'm glad the IIconics won. That is all.
Balor/Lashley I didn't watch. I paused in the middle, didn't care about the match anyway, and skipped to the end.
The main event was probably the second or third best match of the night. However it was tough to get past how convoluted the storyline got, and the finish felt far too weak for the build. This (as well ad how diluted the storyline became) sucked a lot of excitement out of the result) However I feel like this is a clear indicator that Ronda will be back. I wanted a decisive victory, but maybe this was for the best in the long run. Time will tell. In hindsight Kofi/Bryan should've gone on last. I dare say that Kofi is more over than Becky. Considering that Kofi had a simple storyline and the main event had 4 different storylines (including the one that was done far better with Kofi)that really isn't a surprise. Props to Ronda though, she can take an ass kicking
Anyway, that's my opinion. Some may have received it better, but to me it was lackluster with a few great moments sprinkled in.

Funny because besides the Universal, Intercontinental and Woman’s Main Event the matches I was most looking forward to were Orton vs Styles, Triple H vs Batista, McIntyre vs Reigns and Angle vs Corbin. And non of them disappointed. Personally I would have rather Orton and McIntyre won their matches, but still they were entertaining. The matches I really didn’t care about were the US Championship, the WWE Championship and all tag team title matches, but even they were all entertaining except for maybe the US Championship only because I missed that match as I went to the kitchen to get my dinner and came back to see Joe had won. lol But yeah 7 1/2 hours was too long. Like I said above I am surprised they actually pulled the trigger on Kofi after 11 years of being a mid carder. Things I didn’t like... Shane winning. He had no reason to win. McIntyre losing it would’ve been better for him had he won. Renee Young and HBK commentary. And the camera/mics catching to much of the wrestlers calling the matches especially during the main event.

WM weekend with that good sh't. My favorite WrestleMania tradition is Triple H making an entrance out of any movie he just watched on a flight some 2 months before Mania. Oh, and the main event was garbage, that has to be the most anti-climatic finish to a Mania main event ever. Even worse than Miz-Cena. Overall Mania was pretty tops, but that main event was just not all it was hyped up to be.

The finishes last night sucked. Crowd barely reacted because of how lame they were..
Being there live was fun tho and I don’t think it was too long of a show.

So basically all these reports of a botched mania main event ending show up and everyone suddenly thinks the ending to the Main Event was abrupt and boring. Such experts here.

wrestlemania sucked. all but 2 matches were predictable the G1 and ring of honor supercard had a hell of alot better wrestling and there were unpredictable outcomes to there matches.......you wwe fans need help I hope when AEW starts all of you start realizing what good wrestling action is. Let’s hope AEW doesn’t go out of business while you’re still in your edgy rebellious teens.

Overall I enjoyed mania. My Pros and Cons
Pros- Throwback Cena, Kofi and Rollins winning.
Cons- Too long. It's very hard to sit through it for that long. Main event was good, but could have been better, no taker.

As soon as the refs hand hit the mat for 3 I said on here I thought it was a botch. The ending of that match was clear as day: get Becky the win and her moment, yet give the screwy finish so Ronda or Charlotte can come back and claim the shoulders were never down completely, rendering the result questionable.
