WHAT, cbc changed their epic scoreboard...tyranny! Yeah, been like it since the playoffs started. I was shocked, but I like the new look. Although I can't get used to the 'red' for a powerplay at all. Go back to the yellow. Minnesota's performance has been depressing, but I'll give them credit for not giving Anaheim's offense a chance to explode. They've been playing typical Minnesota hockey all series long, but can you blame them? If they were to let up at all, Anaheim would just bring on the goals in bunches. That's something that Minnesota's offense wouldn't be able to match. Kudos to Anaheim.. they shut down Gaborik completely. Yeah, I really don't think Minnesota has played a really bad game all series. They lost game one because of Kim Johnsson's debacle, and game 2 because of a weak Martin Skoula play letting Ryan Getzlaf get around him and go backhand on Backstrom. And tonight they shut down Anaheim's potent offense for the majority of the game. And to Anaheim's credit, Neidermeyer and Pronger have played like Neidermeyer and Pronger, and having Ilja Bryzgalov to back you up doesn't hurt, and it's a shame they couldn't figure it out till late when Bouchard played well on the boards and made a beautiful centering pass to my boy Petteri Nummelin.

Nice to see the Canucks get another victory. Is it just me or are the Dallas Stars the most bland team in the NHL? Turco is kind of known as being a choke artist to boot.

Yeah, Dallas was exciting back then with Hull and Crazy Eddie.... But now, they're just more like... a tight team, bland at times.

Does anyone else here think that DiPietro is overrated? Don't get me wrong, I think he's a solid young goaltender, but I'm not sure he's as good as everyone makes him out to be. Personally, if I had to take Lundqvist or DiPietro as my goaltender with one game to win, I'd choose Lundqvist. Probably because I'm a homer, but I also just think Lundqvist is the better goaltender and gets left out of the discussion a lot of the times for one reason or another.

I think during the regular season he was always conveyed as an above average goaltender, but nothing of epic proportions. But, after his injury, and Mike Dunham letting in goals like it was a hobby of his, NYI fans and critics began to realize his importance to the team. And now that he's healthy and Wade Deubleiwicz has propelled them into the playoffs, so much pressure has been put on his shoulders, and since he has kept the Islanders within the thick of things and that has portrayed him as the Islanders "savior," when in reality Dubie could have probably done the same. And I definitely don't think he is worth this circus contract he signed over the summer.

I would love for the Islanders to beat Buffalo. Most everyone and their mother is all over Buffalo's jock.
Oh, and I'd take Lundqvist over DiPietro also.
