Isles/Sabres is going to be good. While I can't hide my admiration for Ryan Smyth, I am a Chris Drury fan as well. I still take the Islanders, as they are a very underrated team and they have a couple of solid goaltenders.
Hoping the Sharks take it to the cheap shot artists that are the Preds. Either way, I'm hoping the two teams bang each other up so there isn't much left for the next round.
Tampa needs to eliminate the Devils. They have the firepower to do it, but I doubt their goaltender is strong enough to get the job done. We shall see though.

Oh, and the Islanders announcers are the most biased hockey announcers I've ever listened to in my life. By the way they're calling this game, you'd think the Islanders were leading the series and it was do or die for the Sabres. At least I can listen to the Devils announcers and they praise their opponents every now and then...

They're awful. "The Islanders did everything right on that shift."Yeah, except for clearing the puck out of their zone. They only let, I dunno, five shots on goal. "Looks like the Leafs only have 18:56 left of their season, unless the Devils can tie this up."No crapbuddy, but is it necessary to be calling the game over with an entire period left to play? Awful announcers.

I laughed so hard when the Islanders fans were yelling and waving their towels, and Billy Jaffe goes "YOU DON'T GET THIS IN BASEBALL" Yeah, except for the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Islanders have the most biased announcers.

Howie Rose just whined and went "you're kidding me" when they called that a goal.

LOL...when the referee called that a goal, you should have heard the Islanders announcers.
"YOU'RE KIDDING ME?!"
And they kept going back to the Rangers game and crying about when Lundqvist stuffed them at the goal line and it wasn't ruled a goal. The difference was, this time the puck was CLEARLY over the line, and the Islanders' announcers kept saying "there's no way that went in" again and again. Boo hoo...
What a bunch of asses. Makes me appreciate Sam Rosen 1,000x more.

Howie Rose is a gigantic douche. I'd choose the Rangers, Devils or NBC crew any day of the week over the Islanders crew.

Sabres win it...and the Islanders fans started throwing crapon the ice just because of a stupid penalty that their team took in the final minute of the game. There's no excuse for that, at all. Not that I condone it, but it's not like throwing stuff on a football field or baseball field - throwing stuff on a hockey rink in the middle of the game when they don't have a chance to pick it up off the ice could cause severe injuries. What a bunch of idiots.
Also, I'm not directing my comments towards any specific Islanders fans who visit this board...just the idiots who were at the arena throwing stuff.

Every single team has biased announcers. The Wings have Mick, who says something about every single call that goes against the Wings. As far as "so biased its unwatchable" material, you have to look no further then both the Nashville Predators and the Boston Bruins. IMO, the two most biased announce teams out there.
GOOD LOOKIN' OUT TB!

GOOD LOOKIN' OUT TB! Yeah, but I can only judge by what I hear. I don't get to see any other teams play except for the Rangers, Islanders and Devils on a regular basis. From the three teams I watch on a regular basis, the Islanders easily have the most biased announcers. The Rangers and Devils' announcers don't strike me as being at all biased, to be quite honest.

Nah. the Pens announcers are god awful, but the most biased announcer in the NHL is the Play by Play guy for the Colorado Avalanche. He takes the word homer to a new level.

Was it just me or was San Jose just running all over Nashville last night? It looked like the Sharks had control for about 90% of the game.
