I know a lot of Penguins fans have been arguing about the officiating this series but regardless Ottawa outplayed them tonight...

I know a lot of Penguins fans have been arguing about the officiating this series but regardless Ottawa outplayed them tonight... , all game, more like all series. Thanks for the great season Pens. I'm not disappointed at all, because they far surpassed my expectations I had before the season. Here's to next year.

I'll probably sound like a bitter Ottawa hater, but they haven't proved anything to me yet. They beat an inexperienced team of 20-something year olds. That doesn't scream "cup win" to me. I want to see them handle a more experienced team in the second round. And it's not like the Penguins were a total cake walk, either. They only got one win, but they played some good hockey.
Except for Malkin. Christ, all he did was take penalties.

The Penguins did great this year. They're going to be so good in the near future.

Go Ducks! Hell yeah!
Now all I need is the Sharks and the Sabres to win tomorrow.
Stupid Wings. I knew the team was screwed when Yzerman retired. What a great acquisition Bertuzzi has been. Even if they beat Calgary, they won't go much farther. If they face the winner of Vancouver/Dallas it will be another long grueling series, that if they make it out alive, they'll inevitably run into a vastly superior team like Anaheim or San Jose.

Minnesota had a fantastic season. Anaheim was just too good.
Alright.. time for the Sharks. Hopefully they give Nashville a good spanking tonight and get rid of them.

What a heart-breaker for the Canucks last night. No one deserves to lose 1-0 in OT in the playoffs...

If the Canucks put out the Stars, it'll be too bad for Turco. If they lose, Turco can't be to blame. He's been playing great this post season.

I'm thinking the Rangers are gonna be the Oilers of this year's playoffs. I think they're capable of taking the Sabres in the second round if they meet up, leaving Jersey (possibly) with Ottawa. Then a Rangers/Devils rematch from last year in the east finals. Only this time with the Rangers winning.
I guess at this point, I'm pulling for a Sharks/Rangers Cup final.
