haha anyway...
did anyone else hear about Scott Mellanby retiring? That kinda sucks since he should of went one more year and he was a good player. Atlanta will lose a great captain

21 years isn't long enough? The guy was clearly past his prime.
Anyway, Maggie the monkey has picked Vancouver to beat Anaheim. So that pretty much seals the deal.

I'm so nervous for the Rangers game tomorrow against Buffalo. I'll be having some friends over who are Ranger fans to share misery/happiness.

My Prediction for Round 2...
New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Anaheim Ducks, and San Jose Sharks..
The only reason why I picked Rangers over Sabres is that right now Rangers is on fire, they're on a streak right now.... Ever since the Break or something, they're like 22-4-5, and that's including the sweep in the first round.
Now, here's a problem with the Sabres... If they couldn't put away the lowly Islanders, which was helped by The 65 Mil. Goalie.... there's a problem right there if you couldn't put away The Islanders... Sabres bought their B Game, but not their A Game... Rangers/Sabres will be exciting to watch, although I'm thinking that Rangers will win in 6, but there is a possiblity of the series going to game 7 though... That's IF only Sabres brings their A Game.
I would rather see Ottawa advance instead of the Same Ol' Borin Trap Devils, I love Marty don't get me wrong... But Ottawa at this point is more exciting than the Devils..
San Jose and Detroit, I think it'll be a close battle but I can see the Sharks advancing though.. You know Big Joe will be puttin the big hurt on the Wings..
Anaheim and Vancouver, as much as I want to see Vancouver advance to the next round... This one was pretty hard for me to pick... Luongo is God, but can he stop the power of the Mighty Ducks?!

Tommorow is Wings/Sharks. Bit nervous about this one cause we are 1-3-0 againt them this season I believe. Hopefully we can step up our game again like against Calgary. Watching the Anaheim/Canucks game. GO CANCUCKS!

Sean Avery is growing a mohawk and Jagr is once again growing a mullet...if we win the Stanley Cup, this is going to be the greatest team photo in the history of mankind.

I've always said that Jagr hasn't been himself since he chopped the mullet off. He better grow that ing thing back. Rangers, Devils, Sharks, Canucks. Do it up.

Haha Avery was talking all that crapbut so far he got shoved down to the floor and just got destroyed by Spacek on what seemed to be a knee-to knee hit.

paul mara's beard is really sweet.
Glad to see Hollweg in the line-up. Colton Orr was doing nothing in the playoffs as far as his physicality goes. He wasn't really getting in players heads and wasn't drawing penalties, and I think Hollweg will give you everything Orr didn't.
Also, even though he is my favorite player on the Rangers, Rachunek has looked a bit shakey thus far, but will get used to the swing of things by game 2.
