That's a little too far, there dude. We have no idea how much money he makes, and the guy obviously has responsibilities. Just because he gets to have fun at work doesn't mean it's not work. It’s not too far at all. He makes over 200 grand a year, shares a condo with his girlfriend and has no children. Stop me when I’m wrong or stating something that isn’t public knowledge. Has nothing to do with having fun and everything to do with having a show sponsored by a toy company in which he influences people to overpay for toys. Stop right at the beginning then. A) There is absolutely zero way to truly measure one's value versus their income. Anyone you currently work with that has an axe to grind could say you're overpaid for what you do as well. B) You act like the guy's living on a private island. Come on. C) No kids does not equal no responsibilities. Look, I get that you and a few other people are salty about him doing the podcast, but he's a salesman and an actor. What do you think he's going to do? He's going to push that which he's getting paid to push. Is he getting the figures for free? Probably some to most, yes. But it's disingenuous to just say he's not buying any of the toys he collects because you can't possibly know that for sure. Companies are going to give him stuff to push because he's good at what he does and has a big following. They'd be stupid to forgo the publicity. Acting small just makes you look small.

I personally hate these insert store exclusives because it's time consuming. Instead of putting them in the numbered series which has one per case how about Mattel ship out a whole case with the store exclusive. Mattel and who ever is selling the figures are ing with the collectors. If was a bitch to find NXT Series 4 Elites and mind you the figs I wanted weren't out on the pegs, me and my wife had to ask an employee to look in the back because those hand handle smartphone thing isn't up to date. Speaking of Brian and Matt (Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder) they should be kissing Bill and Mattel's ass for the free figs, me I don't even listen to their podcast at all.

I know people are going to call me a complainer and people like Zack Ryder who gets the figures SENT TO HIM BY MATTEL like to talk about the "thrill of the chase", but it really makes collecting not fun when things are this exclusive and hard to find. I know stores demand them and I know Mattel doesn't care who buys the figures or if they go on eBay or not, but Target shouldn't be the ONLY place to get a certain character. Maybe exclusives can be more like chases where it's exclusive attires, but not CHARACTERS. We'll probably never get another Pete Dunne. I get that lots of people have all this time on their hands, but I have a wife, 2 young kids, a full time job.....I can't run to stores every time he popfindr spikes, drive all over the state, or stand in the store for 4 hours while they unload a truck. For me, I'd really just like to EASILY be able to order my figures online and have them shipped to me. But due to dysfunctional online distribution by Target, this apparently is not an option. I just don't think it should be this hard. This post is why collecting sucks now. Ryder is an overpaid baby so for him with too much money and zero life responsibilities to fork over stupid money for things or have them sent to him is fine but these doofs who listen to this podcast and buy into this stuff are not helping matters. Lol I didn't know Jim Cornette had an account on here! But FFS dude, could you come across more jealous and envious of someone who has a great job, a beautiful house, hot girlfriend, and money to spend? Just because he HAS the funds and expenses to do the figure hunting doesn't mean he doesn't have responsibilities or is a "baby" (whatever you mean by that). Personally, I agree with it being ridiculous to pay the scalper prices that people are paying. But if you are not one of those people then what does it matter? It isn't YOUR money that's being spent so you can't be upset over it because it isn't your money.

Zack Ryder has to pay bills, taxes, road expenses and is known to blow thousands of dollars on figures, sometimes in one or two places. I would say he is almost broke, so give the guy a break.

Glad to see all the Zack Ryder hate. I’ve been saying it since day one. He’s made collecting less fun. Some of us were been deep in this game since before he ever even dreamt of stepping foot into this arena. None of us had the luxury of people wanting to pass along their one of a kind priceless holy grail pieces to them. We had to put in leg work, wheel and deal, and break the bank. He’s being handed things. It’s annoying.

To be fair guys , don't most celebrities get sent boxes on boxes of merchandise and $hit daily ? The Major WF Podcast has been great and probably a good help in the eyes of Bill and Mattel , not to mention their weekly giveaways. They gave away a Dunne months before he was found. I see no issue with them being sent things

I’m hating on the idea that people think he’s driving around to stores looking for figures all day when he’s a paid spokesman for the company selling the figures. And yeah I think any leveled headed adult who has listened to the show can agree he’s a child. He pays dumb money for stuff because he can and he is a bragard. At the end of the day the people dumb enough to buy into it are really the ones ruining it for everyone.

...I don't even listen to their podcast at all. Well this week Zack chastised and talk down to all the people that have been complaining about the exclusives. He said wasting time, gas and not being able to find the figure you were hoping to find is all part of the fun of being a collector. He loves the hunt. Although his idea of hunting these exclusives is begging Mattel on his podcast for the last 2-3 week to send him a Sensational Sherri figure...and they did. I don't have an issue with him getting free stuff, it's a great perk, but don't admonish other collectors for complaining about the difficulties of finding these exclusive when you get them for free in the mail.

You are making more assumptions than I am. I am giving you real information and you are saying he’s a paid spokesman. Ok. So then we are saying the same thing. He’s doing a good job at drumming interest in a product but by being dishonest about it. And in a lot of ways no kids means no responsibilities. Especially as independent contractors. Any wwe superstar could lose their job any day. I don’t see someone with health insurance premiums and schooling bills dropping $4k on a half painted doink just to brag about owning it

I don’t care he gets free stuff, I care that he acts like he’s all of us

I think that current WWE collector complaints are completely justified right now. These figures are getting harder and harder to find, it's as simple as that. And that's coming from someone that lives in the US and has access to multiple different stores that these figures are exclusive to, not even an international collector that doesn't have any hope at all besides paying outrageous scalper prices.
