Bill was at the UFC show in Las Vegas last night. I think he and Mattel would rather make UFC figures than deal with WWE collectors. Oh no he wouldn’t. We’re a g**d*** picnic in the park compared to UFC fans

I’m siding with Ryder, but that doesn’t mean I enjoy them. Don’t forget the Retrofest Duggan and Flair Flair isn’t even supposed to fully hit stores until April, I feel like we gotta wait until at least the summer before we know how smooth the whole process will end up being

I'm scared of the things some of you would do to me if you knew how many times I've walked right past Backlund and Sherri in the last couple of months. I want Dunne and NXT 4 bad, but I'm also not going to freak out unless they dont appear at my Target by say June 1. I'm not going to pay $100 for these figures because I'm impatient.

I think at this point a lot of people (and I want EVERYONE to have a crack at him at retail...I got lucky, and got the whole set in 2 shots) should hope that they re-release Harley in his NWA look (I'd buy one up in a minute myself). I HONESTLY don't think that's too far fetched to happen either given the circumstances and Bill DOES try to do "Make Good"s sometimes. You know, I don't know if any fellow collectors will remember but. Remember Staring Lineup Basketball and Football from the '92-'96 sets? How limited quantities and low case packouts were on popular stars? And how they were scalper bait even back pre-ebay days? I mean, the figure would run...what...5.99 retail? And some of the pieces would be going 50 and up? Some over 100? It seems that Mattel has the same distro on exclusives.

There are people who still enjoy finding and buying things from a store when it is part of a routine. Nobody is forcing anybody to go to 10 or 12 Walmarts or Targets in 1 day hunting for toys. LOL, When I wrote "I", I meant "I" as in me. I wasn't speaking for anyone else. People can do whatever they wish with their lives, I'm just posting my opinion on the "thrill of the hunt" aspect. For me, personally, it is not a constructive use of my time when I have more important things I should be doing. I have the same opinion on camping out overnight to get into Hall H at comic con or getting to the mall 5 hours before a store opens for an exclusive figure...not for me, I don't get it, won't do it. Fair enough? ..and can we dispense with the "no one is forcing you" retort that I see thrown around a lot? I would think everyone is pretty much in agreement that no one, company or entity is forcing anyone to support their product. We do it out admiration and love of the said product. Its dismissive to the collector and fan to say deal with it the way it is because no one is "forcing you" when we are making significant financial (and in some cases time) commitments. If anything, the only thing I can see anyone "forced" into doing is no longer supporting the product by the company which is making the merchandise relatively hard to acquire. People literally want to give the company money and they choose to make it difficult.

Pete Dunne is the prime example of the UK getting played about on with exclusives. Probably one of the best british talent for ages and the UK is not getting him.
A UK wrestler not released in the UK and the prices for him have been shocking on ebay £200/£400
I really hope Sherri is going to be easier to get and im glad that im a legends/flashbacks collector as could not keep up with exclusives prices for people like Dunne/Wolfe/Liv

At least one UK shop has done this and will have them in stock soon. Please do research before blindly assuming you won’t have a shot at getting this figure.

Worst case scenario of never finding McIntyre and Black is you wait a few months and get their new elite figures. They’re popular wrestlers on the main roster. They’re gonna have more figures. And if you’re still desperate for their Takeover figures then the secondary market prices will drop when new figures are made. Just have patience.

Looks like they're keeping us waiting for that Ciampa and Ricochet lol. Ricochet will be a Joann Fabrics on leap year exclusive. Just a heads up If the Paducah store doesn't get at least 12 cases of Ricochet there will be he'll to pay in Quilt City

The people on here are creating the scalper market by overdramaticizing the availability and desire for these exclusives and then paying the inflated prices after giving up on ever acquiring them even though they’ve only been out a couple weeks.

True, but there are exceptions like the Harley Race figure... he was only available for a brief time - and if you didn't pay the early scalper prices, you're now looking at $250-$300 if you want one(!). And no-one really knows if there are going to be extra shipments of the figure... but it seems unlikely. I think a lot of people are worried the same sort of thing might happen to a figure they really want.

Once every Walmart started clearancing out the FB it was a sure sign they weren’t getting anymore. Even Ruby and Killian should be the ones everyone are panicking over because who knows when they’ll ever getting another elite. Drew and Aleister are likely to have multiple new elites by the end of the year all looking exactly the same as the Takeover figures if not better.

If that’s true it should be reported to Mattel since it is most likely in breach of their contract as a distributor.

This. If you're an outsider reading this forum you would think people have been going to the store daily hunting these things for months on end because of the overdramatic posts and nonstop crying and whining. But they've only been out a month...
