I think Lawler should come in a New Generation pack. Realistic candidates to join him: HBK needs a '95 or '96 figure that does him justice. Also, King Mabel Heel 1-2-3 kid Vader Ultimate Warrior ('96 return) Or, you could skew to '93 and have Lawler with: Bobby Heenan (seriously, this needs to be in the next revealed wave) Hogan and Brutus (Mega-Maniacs) Kid is another good pick, I'd love him in the red/black/white like his first Bend Em'. If they do Vader or Mabel they really need a new mold, pains me how small Tugboat is, Vader and Mabel are even larger guys. Same with Warrior, that first one they made was bad. |

So what are people’s predictions on who will realistically be joining Lawler in the next set? As I mentioned previously, I predict these two: - Vader, using Tugboat body with different legs. - Jeff Jarrett (providing they had time to get it done after his signing), using either clothesline action as a nod to the planned Hasbro or Elias (with different legs) to do a guitar smash. I’d love for a Jarrett to haves new mould with moulded straps, but seems unlikely. And the final figure is difficult to peg - Backlund would work for me, but as someone said earlier, it might be worth getting a top name in like Shawn or Bret. I'd like Double J if they went with a 1995 version, like from IYH when he faced Shawn. I would love Backlund too, and assuming they did 94' blue trunks, that would be a huge get for Hasbro fans, I don't think he'd be anywhere near the same low tier as Volkof or Orton. |

I think after Greg, lex, Green pants Macho, tugboat etc, it's safe to assume they are really thinking of the hasbro line, so I hope someone at mattel is remembering the series 7 hbk proto 🙏 🙏 I loved the proto, was a bit gutted when it came out with the stuck together legs 🦵 I'd say just find a good customizer to do it if you want it exactly like the ad. Bret Hart legs, Virgil upper body is the correct combo btw, I see too many of them made with just a Hogan 4 body and that's incorrect. |

With the bundle still available now, I wonder if they'll drop the '2 per customer' limit soon?
Might be a good policy going forward to have that limit for a few days and then opening it up for those who might be interested in getting extras, whether it be for resale, customs or whatever?

I wonder if they can do the Hasbro Earthquake/Bam Bam/Typhoon mold, that one was perfect for most big guys. And that Warrior is still one of the worst from the series, the guy was jacked during that period, but the figure made him look very tiny. Need a Warrior with a new body mold. Maybe they can do something similar to the talking Hasbro walking Warrior mold, that would be great, just add the spring mechanism to the arm for a punch action. |

The Virgil figure had the shorts molded on the legs, so they couldn't use that and paint over it. He also had a few tassels molded on the boots. These two things wouldn't work for HBK, so they used Bret's leg molds. Great looking figure, I was let down when I saw the actual figure, still good, but the Virgil mold was better for playing. I really hope that Mattel uses this new Lawler mold to do a 1992 HBK figure as an homage to the Hasbro figure like they've done for Luger and R&B Hammer. |

Some options:
i. The white and red, as the prototype was and the series 7 elbow smash figure had?
ii. The white and black he wore when he turned before the white and red, like the SuperStars figure (and I think the upcoming Legends figure) is in?
iii. The zebra and black when he beat Bulldog for the IC title?
iv. The red and white against Bret at Survivor Series '92?
v. The grey zebra and white against Tatanka at WM9, like the recent Elite?
Or a slightly later look, like the blue against Razor at SummerSlam? Or the red like the Amazon Ultimate?
Lots of options with HBK.

I think the white and red like the prototype would be the most likely. Look at the other figures that are based off their Hasbro's: Luger, Tugboat, Doink and R&B Hammer; all have the same look as their prototype figure, I'd imagine Shawn would be the same. If they didn't go this route, his red and white from SSE92 against Bret Hart would be my next top choice, I saw a custom of this figure a while back, it looked great. I also hope to get that look of SSE92 HBK in elite form someday, a matching Bret would be awesome too. That would have been a good option for the old elite 2-packs. |

There was also one I really loved, can't find an image though, don't think it ever made PPV, but it was basically like the white with red splooches like the original Hasbro, but it had gold inlays in the red areas instead of the black. Think it may have just appeared on a couple episodes of Raw, around the lead up to WM9. |
