Part of the sculpt. Nothing is removable on them beside the megaphone. Nikolai’s hat looks to be glued on and I don’t think it’s a full head sculpt underneath it.

Got mine in today. Outer box had a couple of dings and every cardback is warped. Thankfully I’m not a MOC collector and I planned to open these.

Out of interest, did everyone get a shipping notification email? Two from Mattel and two from FedEx. Both sent me emails when they shipped and then both companies sent emails today saying it was out for delivery. |

I got my set today, no emails, and no update on my Mattel creations account. I ordered within the first 5 mins, and chose standard shipping, I suppose it doesn’t hurt that I’m about 4 hrs from their shipping address!? |

They’re great btw! Bret is the weakest of the pack. Volkoff looks great, he just doesn’t fit in with my collection, so I’m letting him go…

I ordered mine a few hours after it went live. Totally lost track of what day and time it was while out running errands. Was surprised they were still up. Mine arrived today without any shipping notification outside of the "should be shipping by Sept 2nd" in my original order email. |

I ordered within ten minutes, 2 seperate orders, one going to home address (nothing yet), and an order to my PO box (will be checking it on Tues). No shipping notice for either order yet. I have a FedEx account though, so if anything is shipping with them I would see an email when the label gets created and haven't seen one yet.
Didn't notice until these close ups that the hearts on the singlets are just an outline with black in the middle, had thought it looked like the 2-tone pink/purple from the previews. Yeah, Bret looks weird, how hard would it have really been to give him silver shades if this is a 90/91 attire? Now I gotta waste money to find a replacement head assuming the glasses are molded? And with Anvil having his shades, I'm either going to need to find a Bret head with shades, or find an Anvil and Bret heads w/out shades to swap both.
And Volkoff, I don't really need him anyway, but he looks bad too, they should take that Shamus mold and encinerate it.
And assuming mine will likely come with warped cards too, another miss yet again is the card art, so I'll be buying a custom tag team card for the Hart Foundation on ebay. The others I don't care enough about to have MOCs to display.

Thanks for the pics PJ, like others have said, Anvil looks so much better!
I still do not feel like I made a mistake not ordering these, the more I see of that Bret, the more I think it is a bad figure and it looks even worse on card. I like Volkoff too, but as a MOC collector, that plain red t-shirt on the packaging really kills it for me.

I think I’m one of the few who likes the ‘kick’ action feature. I appreciate that the figures with that action can look a bit off; but I think changing the arms can help with that. But as far as action features go, I thought it was innovative and works really well to capture certain wrestlers moves (Shawn’s Superkick, Hulk Bigfoot/leg drop) - which for me was largely what the hasbros were all about! |

It seems I’m in the minority here, but I don’t hate the Bret head/ figure at all.
The singlet would definitely look better if it matched Anvil’s; but I think the head is fine - I’d even go so far as to say I much prefer it over the weird expression/head tilt on the Hasbro.

It’s funny I like the Bret. Hell it was the reason I ordered the set in the first place. And the reason I am thinking about a second one. Do I wish the singlet top was molded and cut differently? Sure, but I still like it as it is. As for the glasses I remember Bret wearing those at the start of the Hart foundation so I have no problem with them. I am just glad to now have the Hart Foundation on the shelves.
Now if I can only remember where aI put my Iron Sheik to stand next to Nikolai.

He was around until the end of 1990 as a Bolshevik and then Duggan's buddy (which would be series 1 & 2), back for the 1992 Rumble (series 3 & 4) then back again with the Million Dollar Corporation in 94 (roughly green card era). And Volkoff's look never really changed between 1979 & 1997. |
