Volkoff actually fits amazingly with several parts of the Hasbro timeline. He was around until the end of 1990 as a Bolshevik and then Duggan's buddy (which would be series 1 & 2), back for the 1992 Rumble (series 3 & 4) then back again with the Million Dollar Corporation in 94 (roughly green card era). And Volkoff's look never really changed between 1979 & 1997. When you break it down like that, I think people are gonna need more than one Volkoff! 😂 To me, he was the partner with Boris in the Bolshevicks, so without him to match doesn't really fit in for me. |

They’re great btw! Bret is the weakest of the pack. Volkoff looks great, he just doesn’t fit in with my collection, so I’m letting him go… Volkoff actually fits amazingly with several parts of the Hasbro timeline. Yeah, but the blue stripe on his trunks puts him around 1986, Bolsheviks would be red trunks, face Volkoff should have an American Flag, and Million $ Corp would be in black and would’ve happened after Hasbro developed the Orange card series…I watched wrestling from 1989-2002, if Mattel produces any wrestlers from that time period, I’m a buyer. |

I was out on these until I saw the pictures. Hart looks as good as I expected, but Anvil looks so much better than I thought. I'll either buy those 2 off eBay, or get the set and try to sell Hart (though I bet no one will buy). Volkoff looks OK. The Bret is truly truly awful. If Wave 1 was any indication, best bet is to buy the wave and unload the two you don’t want.
They got me. Jimmy Hart and Anvil were so good, I ordered the set. I will decide on Volkoff when I see it. But I don't know how I will ever sell that Bret, given the set is still available and it's a horrendous figure. I guess I'll donate it to a holiday toy drive.

Still up, wonder if Mattel has a plan on if/when to remove quantity limits?
I'm actually sorta thinking of grabbing another 4 sets if I could. And then I would go for 8 sets of the Greg/Tugboat set. Think it would be cool as hell to get some store pegs to setup to look like an old Toys R' Us from back in the day and just have pegs loaded with figures.

If the limit gets removed I’m grabbing 2 more. Honestly, all 4 figures are prime candidates for head swaps with recent Elites and Basics. Nikolai with the recent Legends head and removable hat will look great. Few options for Bret and Anvil. Been sitting on Jimmy’s head that was packed with Yoko for a little while. |

lol...I think it may happen. I thought of doing it a few years back but never did. These are affordable enough to buy in bigger quantities and since they're now going all legends and no modern guys, plus getting 2 packs too, I really think it would be cool. |

For those who were discussing the Hart Foundation attires, someone on Instagram just shared an interesting point about them - the heart outline on the singlet is a detail which is on the original Jim Neidhart Hasbro drawing by Ron Rudat.
