Given the reuse of the manager mold, I would like to see a Brother Love in retro form. He isn’t my top want but it would definitely fit in!
Additionally, Zeus would be a welcomed edition. There are some good customs out there but an official one would be cool…Rip is welcome as well.

Maybe Wendi's contract is ending soon or they just resigned her and wanted to get her out again. With Hogan and Wendi, I'm thinking they are going to also release Captain Lou (seems like a no brainier). The 4th person I would pick is George Steele. I think that would be a good mix of people from the Golden Era. |

I would have rather seen Sherri for sure, but I think Wendi is cool.
If they’re going to go with Rock n Wrestling / Wrestlemania 1 how about

Paul Orndorf or Big John Studd
If you’re gonna go, go all the way. Why not Cyndi Lauper if they could get her signed?

I mean, if they do one woman wrestler don't they need a 2nd so she would have someone to wrestle? Moola maybe? Or was Sheri wrestling the same time as Richter? And I'd like to see Orndorf to really compliment the other WM1 releases.

If Rock N Wrestling is the next set it’s a bit of a bummer. I was hoping the next Hogan would be in red attire as part of a set with the unreleased Mega Maniacs Brutus Beefcake.

Yeah, those would go great with Money Inc. Ted in either the white gear or white tux. Nothing really wrong with the IRS Hasbro figure, but the face scan wasn't the best. They could include a briefcase accessory that you can open, inside the briefcase is a brick... |

It's not strictly a 90-94 continuation of the line, but rather an expansion of the original. |

if Rock N Wrestling is the theme, and given Mattel have said they won't redo a Hasbro if they don't need to, then let's look at the cartoon for inspiration for the remaining roster that doesn't have either a Hasbro or Mattel Retro: Captain Lou Hillbilly Jim (DEAR GOD PLEASE NO!!!!!) Tito Santana (as Tito, not Matador) Fabulous Moolah Big John Studd Mr Fuji Bobby Heenan now.... just using that list alone, if they're making Wendi, why would they not make Moolah which is the obvious opponent for their famous rivalry? so let's say Moolah is in. that leaves 1 place, for either Big John Studd (reuse the Braun/Nash mold) or Fuji/Heenan with the manager suit mold I'd be happy with a wave of Hogan, Richter, Moolah and Studd or Fuji/Heenan. alternatively to finish off WM1, they'd need to make Orndorff so a Hogan/Orndorff, Richter/Moolah wave for the classic WM1 rivalry duo might be a good shout?

I think these are cool….and I’m ok that they’ve stretched back to pre-Hasbro era - I probably wouldn’t have originally wanted to go that far back, but I’ve enjoyed the previous mania 1 set and Sheiky & Volkoff.
So I kind of feel this opens up the possibility of so many more interesting wrestlers, for me at least.
And the reality is there probably isn’t all that many guys from the Hasbro era who are signed, so it’d likely end up lots of re-do’s of wrestlers already released - and we see what kind of reaction that gets with the new Taker reveal.
I’m just not into them coming forward in time with the attitude era to be honest.
But while I’ve enjoyed most of the retros since relaunch, at the same time there are definitely some head scratchers for me as far as execution - a sense that things could have been better.
But I’m interested to see which other females could be used with this mold, I can’t think of many:
Sherri in wrestling gear WM6
Alundra Blaze
Then a few who are likely not signed, and some who potentially wouldn’t be due to controversies:
Moolah
Luna
Sunny
Sabel
