Per the "Steve Ozer Podcast w/ Nick Storm" thread it came out that Billy Gunn is still available to be made by Mattel. It may not be the second one they go for because it would be a quick repaint of Pac, but I'd absolutely love a DX RSC pack in the future with Chyna and X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws. Feel like those would go perfectly with Series 2 Triple H.

It may not be the second one they go for because it would be a quick repaint of Pac, but I'd absolutely love a DX RSC pack in the future with Chyna and X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws. Feel like those would go perfectly with Series 2 Triple H. I’d love that as a DX set. I’d hope for a different body on X-Pac compared to Syxx though, probably the kick body like Sami Zayn. I don’t fancy DX having two members with the stucklegs jumper body. But I’d buy it either way! Hell, I’m also hoping for a Hunter Hearst Helmsley, a black trunks Triple H, and a couple more Shawn Michaels figures. |

Feel like those would go perfectly with Series 2 Triple H. That is good news - I immediately thought when the nWo set was announced that DX would follow, but without Billy it would've been difficult. It would be odd to have a DX set without Triple H, but he really isn't needed because of the series 2 figure like you say. The Outlaws being together is an obvious one, but would Mattel put Chyna and X-Pac together? Given their past then maybe they'd want to avoid that, especially if her family might have misgivings about it. But maybe they were on good terms towards the end of Chyna's life? I don't know. Perhaps individual figures on Mattel Creations would work better, but then we lose the Outlaws tag set? Another thing is that Mattel might feel that they need to include HBK or Triple H to give the set more 'star power', but I don't think that's needed - DX is the star power here. |

I did consider putting Triple H in there for star power, Mattel seems to like to have an anchor "top guy" in each set. HBK could work too as we desperately need a 90s HBK I'd take pretty much anyone we can get. I really think the next Triple H needs to be top guy Triple H with the black trunks, "The Game" more so than DX.
I agree though that I think DX would stand on their own and I actually think Chyna would be a sneaky set-mover for a lot of people.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the jumper Triple H, so I’d gladly take another DX attempt. A 97 Shawn would be great to have… bring on all the DX!

To be fair, we're getting a second purple-gloved Undertaker- so a second purple tights Triple H isn't out of the question... Hopefully they'd go with a different version though.

I guess it's not unprecedented that's true, I would be really disappointed if they did that though. Don't get me wrong I'm happy we have the one we do, having that look twice would just feel unnecessary to me. At least with Undertaker that's kinda the iconic Undertaker look. For me that would be like getting two American Badass Taker's before we got a Deadman. |

The only change I would make is to include Kane (even though I don't believe he was ever an official member of DX) with XPac instead of doing another Triple H. |

To be fair, he wasn't near as muscular as he would become, and the action they gave him was Jake the Snake's action (Jake in real like is around 6'5'' tall), so the mold wasn't all that wrong for him.    |

With only 8 figures a year (an additional 4 if RSC does the one exclusive a year), I don't see them exploring anything other than potentially another ring or retro belts. Even if the line picks up and we start seeing more lineups released a year, I still don't think it will be enough to devote time and resources to when they have the more successful/popular main lines they could focus on. |
