I'm guessing the rest of the Richter/Hogan wave will be WM1 era? If that's the case, I'd like an Orndorf for sure, not sure who else, Studd? Or would there be another woman wrestler from the era available? And I hope we see 2 more waves, but realistically, I doubt that. Maybe at least one more wave and a single figure teased for the next? And what about another RSC exclusive? What I'd hope for is some WCW guys from RSC, maybe Malenko, Mysterio, Eddie, Goldberg, Luger etc. And I hope for some more Hasbro missing pieces, like Heel Jake, Short hair Rude, Macho King w/long tights, maybe a mid 90's Bret or Shawn. A new Warrior would be sweet too, IF they could make a decent mold for him, if they reuse that crap mold from S1, I'd rather just buy repainted Hasbros instead. That would be a good wave: heel Jake in either the blue flame of black flame tights with a king cobra accessory, short-haired Rude from 1990 (or even a long-haired Rude from 89/90 would be nice, since his Hasbro figure was terrible), long tights Macho King from 1990/1991 (with removable crown and scepter, or even a removable hat), and HBK in the puncher-mold that he was supposed to get with Hasbro. Another Warrior or Bret would be good too. Warrior from 1992 or 1996 would be nice, maybe even another Razor Ramon. |

Dates when I preordered: Wave 1 1/28/2022 Wave 2 8/31/2022 Wave 3 1/20/2023 So Wave 4 preorder should hit in August and Wave 5 should hit in January 2024. I really wish we would get at least 4 waves without the RSC exclusives. Only 12 a year is depressing. Too bad they can't do a MNW retro line with Amazon or Target to complement the Walmart elite/ultimate line. Or swap out the Superstar line at Walmart with it (and open Superstars to all retailers). |

You know what’s wild… the Hogan / Richter set is the one I’m looking forward to the most! Probably since Series 10. Depending on the colors, the Hogan figure could become the best iteration of Hulk in the Hasbro / Mattel Retro form factor. The NWO one is outstanding. A yellow / red version could really be A++. Wendi, while maybe not the ideal choice for some, is still the first female “cannon” Retro figure. Decades in the making, long overdue and certainly a good add. With 2 more slots left… someone like a Captain Lou or Bobby the Brian could really make this an outstanding 4. |

Feels like Hogan needs a big bad adversary for this assumed WM 1 set, but I'm hard-pressed other than Orndorff here.
Heel Jake, short-hair Rude, Bobby the Brain, and 1990/91 Macho King really need to happen ASAP. I'm always paranoid one retro set might be the last.
Surprised the orange cards weren't a bigger hit. Lex's head was weak, but otherwise I loved it.
Very excited for the upcoming wave... as for SDCC, we'll be lucky to hear of four new figs in the works. I'd love a yellow ring but hopes NOT up.

Yes this was announced at WM Axxess, they showed prototype images of 80s Hogan and Wendi Richter which will be two of the four figures comprising the next pack after Undertaker 2, Paul Bearer, Vader and Jerry Lawler. Images are on page 199 of this thread. |

That would work so well..throw in that old title belt too! And the chain, I've got a feeling Captain Lou might appear in this set as he has just been done in the Superstars line.

The potential for variants is great too. A white AMERICAN MADE shirt would look sweet with blue or white trunks and boots. |
